3rd Period - 7:57•2002-2003 Regular Season

Malec Speared Ian Moran in the neutral zone in the second period. Pushor and Manderville both went after Malec but it was Mandeville that ended on top throwing rights, Mandy landed 2 good ones and Malec covered up and received nothing. Next period McKenna goes after Malec, no real fight, he just tossed him around like a rag doll and Ville Niemenen ended up going with Malec. Pretty good scrap, both guys throwing and landing, Niemenen's lip was cut, but Niemenen did a good job of standing up for a teammate. Other Penalties: McKenna received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Nieminen a double instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.
