Feb 26, 2002 Boston Bruins Dennis Bonvie
2pd 10:03 New York Islanders Eric Cairns
Mutual start with a fair square off. Bonvie dives in first and grabs on. Cairns grabs on as well and it begins. A big right by Bonvie connects. Cairns throws a big left that misses, and both fighters throw one, and Bonvie right gets helmet and a Cairns left sails high. Bonvie's next right misses and then both players jockey for position. Another Bonvie right catches helmet, and then Cairns gets the right arm out of the jersey. Bonvie throws a left that hits shoulder, then Cairns unloads with six big rights, at least two connecting somewhat hard. Bonvie's left misses and then Cairns got the left free. Three lefts from Cairns miss along with a mixed-in Bonvie right. Bonvie throws two rights that hit shoulder and a right uppercut that connects. Cairns misses again with the right, and a short right by Bonvie connects. Cairns missed with two short rights and a huge right that Bonvie didn't mind ducking under. One more Cairns right misses and the linesmen are in.
Voted winner: Eric Cairns (50.0%) - Voted rating: 6.4

Feb 13, 2002 Phoenix Coyotes Andrei Nazarov
1pd 07:32 Los Angeles Kings Ryan Flinn
The two came together behind the net. It looked as if Naz landed a decent left and maybe another that knocked Flinn's helmet off. Flinn landed a few punches, maybe four short rights and a quick left. No damage done here either. Naz landed another left to the side of Flinn's head, but it didn't have all that much on it. The guys mostly grappled on the glass behind the net. Refs came in and separated the two. No one fell to the ice.

Feb 13, 2002 Florida Panthers Peter Worrell
1pd 02:30 Chicago Blackhawks Bob Probert
Probert starts out throwing 2 looping, overhand rights, 1 of them lands. Worrell then lands a noogie shot or two. Worrell is then able to get some distance and looks to land 2 solid rights. They get back in tight and jostle for position. Worrell is able to land 1-2 short rights to Probert's face. They then wrestle a little more and Probert throws 2 rights that come up short. They then each simultaneously throw a punch (Probert a left, Worrell a right) that both appear to miss. Probert slips and falls to his knees and the linesman come in.

Feb 12, 2002 Florida Panthers Joey Tetarenko
1pd 09:59 Nashville Predators Reid Simpson
There was no coverage of this fight due to the camera on the Worrell-Perrott fight, just Denis Potvin saying they were going at it and then describing 1 solid overhand right that landed by Tets. The camera then pans in to show Tets grazing 1 shot as he rags Simpson to the ice. Other Penalties: Both players received game misconducts.

Feb 12, 2002 Florida Panthers Peter Worrell
1pd 09:59 Nashville Predators Nathan Perrott
After Worrell is leveled by Perrott, Pete gets up slowly and adjusts his helmet and sets his eyes on Nathan. The two go at it and Perrott starts throwing right away. Perrott gets off 4 quick rights to the back of Pete's head, then pushes Pete to the boards. Perrott then fires 2 more rights to the back of Pete's head. Perrott is in tight now and Worrell gets off 1 connecting with his left to the side of Nathan's helmet. Pete tries to throw another, but they're in so close that Perrott is able to block it. Perrott then takes his turn and fires another right, again hitting the same area in the back of Pete's head. Worrell then gets his right free and nails Perrott in the face, the best punch of the fight. Perrott then switches to the left, trying to get one in. Then Worrell throws another right, but Perrott is able to avoid it, they are just in to close to do any more and the refs take the opportunity to step in and seperate the two.

Feb 12, 2002 Atlanta Thrashers Jeff Odgers
3pd 16:47 St. Louis Blues Bryce Salvador
Odgers goes after Salvador as he feels the need to avenge Pronger's dismantling of Slegr. The cameras missed most of the early part of the fight, but when they got there Odgers had Salvador's jersey over his head and was throwing his trademark right hand. Salvador was throwing straight rights too and they both quickly hit the ice rather violently. Other Penalties: Odgers received an instigator, misconduct, and game misconduct.

Feb 12, 2002 Atlanta Thrashers Jiri Slegr
3pd 16:47 St. Louis Blues Chris Pronger
A little scrum in front of the benches and after coming together Slegr gives Pronger a big-time facewash and pays dearly for it. Pronger got the right going and basically beat him bloody. No KO or anything like that, but Pronger got the right hand going and really went to town on Slegr. Props to Slegr for not hitting the deck after he took some serious punishment. Other Penalties: Pronger received an instigator, misconduct, and game misconduct; Andy Sutton a roughing; Ilya Kovalchuk and Doug Weight both got misconducts.

Feb 12, 2002 Minnesota Wild Sylvain Blouin
1pd 17:52 Columbus Blue Jackets Jody Shelley
Blouin seemed to take the early advantage, maybe too early. It almost looked like Shelley wasn't going to go. Blouin landed 2 or 3, then Shelley throws a couple. Blouin landed one of his early shots, both jockey for position, discard elbow pads and Blouin starts throwing again, landing a couple more. Shelley throws a couple more that do nothing. Shelley's face look pretty beat up, not sure if it was from an earlier fight or this one, but both basically hugged after a few volleys. They yapped at each other after the refs moved in. Other Penalties: Blouin received an instigator and misconduct.

Feb 12, 2002 Pittsburgh Penguins Dan LaCouture
3pd 04:28 Ottawa Senators Chris Neil
It starts in front of the Ottawa net with Lacouture going hard to the net trying to stir up something. Neil grabbed him and they went. Tied up at first, nothing really landing, they fall to the ice on a miss from Neil. They stand back up and Neil gets the jersey over the head and throws one that puts Lacouture down.

Feb 12, 2002 New Jersey Devils Jim McKenzie
1pd 02:17 Buffalo Sabres Eric Boulton
Right after the Ray-White fight, off the very next faceoff as soon as the puck is dropped these two go. McKenzie appears to land a decent shot right away that surprised Boulton. Boulton tries to land a right, then Jim throws a few body shots. He then goes upstairs and misses with the momentum taking them down.

Feb 12, 2002 New Jersey Devils Colin White
1pd 02:16 Buffalo Sabres Rob Ray
Retaliation for a cheap hit on Varada 2 nights ago. Right off the face-off they go - White throws six or seven quick rights and lands one on the jaw. Some grappling and Ray lands a few rights. That's it, nothing big.

Feb 10, 2002 Edmonton Oilers Georges Laraque
1pd 01:25 Phoenix Coyotes Andrei Nazarov
Laraque and Naz square off at the faceoff. Laraque stumbles, but Naz fails to use that to his advantage. Laraque then rips off Naz's helmet and lands a flurry of lefts mostly to the back of the head.
