| Mar 09, 2002 | Detroit Red Wings | Sean Avery |
| 2pd 03:02 | St. Louis Blues | Tyson Nash |
| Comments: Camera moves in with Avery landing about 2 or 3 short noogie shots. Nash has his head down as his helmet comes over his face. Tyson misses with a blind, wild right. His helmet's completely off now as Nash goes for Avery's leg looking for the early takedown. But Avery keeps his balance and lands an uppercut to Tyson's shoulder. Another right by Avery just out of reach. Sean controlling the fight so far, but nothing of significance landed yet. Avery lands to the back of the head. Nash desperately trying to get his arm free. Avery misses with a big left and his momentum put him in a bad position. Tyson Nash gets his arm out of the jersey and now its his turn. He lands 1 helmet shot, then fires a vicious haymaker that would've landed Sean in the minors if it connected (but doesn't). He misses 2 more, then finally appears to land 1. Both toss a couple with Avery missing 2 lefts and Nash landing to the shoulder. A big right thrown by Nash, but couldn't tell if it landed. Avery goes to throw a left, but is greeted with a solid right to his jaw. Nash misses 2 more, with the second allowing Avery to get the takedown. | ||
