Nick Fotiu Picks the Rangers to Win the Cup

Former Rangers’ fan favorite, Staten Island’s own Nick Fotiu, weighs in on Stanley Cup Finals

The native Staten Islander, the first born and bred New Yorker to play for the Blueshirts, believes the Rangers have a good chance at winning what would only be their second championship since 1940.

“They have more rest (than the Kings) going in, so that gives them an advantage,” said Fotiu, who grew up roller skating and didn’t start playing ice hockey until he was 15. “If they could steal that first game on the road, that would be great.”
