Barch and Boll Go the Distance

Six fights took place last night and the award for best scrap went to Krys Barch and Jared Boll who went back and forth in a marathon fight in Dallas. The two also tangled last season in another close bout.

Things got testy down south after the Thrashers took a sizable lead over the Capitals. John Erskine and Eric Boulton dropped the gloves in the first of three fights in the third period. Donald Brashear went after rookie Zach Bogosian following a questionable hit on Dave Steckel and Chris Thorburn mixed it up with Matt Bradley shortly after.

Colin Fraser and Ryan Callahan traded blows and Jack Skille took on Paul Mara during Blackhawks-Rangers as well.
