Comments: Both drop em after the faceoff and circle. They come together and both start unloading with a lot of jabs. Cummins starts strong and gets a few good rights jabs. Strudwick returns some, but a lot are missing. Cummins then gets another good right that causes Strudwick to turn away. Strudwick then returns with a big left and Cummins tries to hold on. Strudwick starts throwing uppercuts and lands a couple and throws a couple of more jabs as well. Linesmen finally come in and break them up against the boards. Cummins has a cut on his nose. Great fight.

Comments: Foote and Chimera drop em in the Avs zone with Chimera busy early with rights and Foote on the defensive. Foote then throws a couple with the last possibly landing flush to put Chimera down. Foote had a good night, with a Gordie Howe hat trick.

Comments: It starts with a huge double team hit by Hinote and McCormick on Cross. Cross gets up and slashes Hinote, then Hinote challenges him and Cross backs down. Moreau comes in with the gloves off, right cocked back and starts throwing a bit. Moreau throws three or four punches, and they fall down with Hinote on top. Right after Moreau jumps in, McCormick does the same to Cross. They fall almost immediately, maybe each threw a couple. They both get booted for being the second fight. Other Penalties: Moreau received an instigating and game misconduct.

Comments: Brookbank lays a hit on Cummins at the bench and Brookbank quickly drops his gloves. Cummins looks like he doesn't want to go, but does so after a bit. As soon as he does Brookbank hammers him with two to three, then they trade bombs for about five seconds. Brookbank lays a huge right that drops Cummins. Cummins immediately went to the lockerroom with blood running down his face.

Comments: They both slide into the boards after a whistle. Iggy gets up mad and they trade some glove-punches. The gloves come off and they get the hug on. They spin around and Iginla tries a left, and McCormick gets a right in and throws Iginla to the ice, McCormick landing on top. Other Penalties: Iginla received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct.

Comments: Off the faceoff, they drop em and hang on. Camera got there a little late and McCormick threw some rights as Clark was just holding on with his right cocked back. McCormick threw about two more nothing rights and Clark fell.

Comments: Right off the faceoff circle Hinote drops the gloves and goes after Lacoutore. Lacoutore, who is skating backwards, drops the gloves and away they go. Hinote gets off two rights at the start. Three lefts by Lacoutore and Hinote is in trouble. The third left lands flush and knocks Hinote's helmet off. Lacoutore now has the jersey partially over Hinote's head and is still throwing hard lefts. Hinote, to his credit, is throwing his own lefts, but they appear to be missing or just grazing Lacoutore. Lacoutore lands on top of Hinote and the linesmen come in.

Comments: They look at each other, and say lets go. Hulse threw the first punch, a left that didn't seem to connect. They grab on and go into the boards, and Hulse just seemed to want to hold on after that. Cummins tried to get loose, and as a result got in about four punches. The linesmen then step in and it's over.

Comments: Erskine checks McAllister on an icing and they drop the gloves. McAllister startes with a bomb right and Erskine responds with one of his own. They trade a couple more each then Erskine tags McAllister and McAllister goes down.

Comments: Cummins is looking for anyone to go and Robbie is game. Cummins is throwing rights and landing most of them, DiMaio is cut somewhere along the bridge of his nose. DiMaio is throwing lefts to combat Cummins, but then he switches to the right and BAM! nails Cummins. Cummins goes down, but I don't know if it was a slip or from the hit. Very spirited. Other Penalties: Cody McCormick received a roughing.

Comments: Avery is taking the puck and Morris stands him up at Colorado's blue line. They chat for a while and Avery drops his gloves and Morris drops em as he realizes Avery is not trying to draw a penalty. A nice short squareoff and they both dive in. Morris throws one that hits nothing but helmet. Morris has a tight hold on Avery and Avery throws one that misses. Morris seemed like he wanted to hug for a while, as Avery was trying to get free. They get in close and Avery throws one more that slightly lands to the right side of Morris' face. Then Morris has Avery in a hold and has an arm free and throws about eight with the first couple landing decent and the others were missing or hitting his back.

Comments: Brief squareoff and then they get togethor and start throwing haymakers. Both traded a few bombs, then Warrener got one on the right eye of McCormick. McCormick then started dodging and throwing and caught Warrener with a couple more, then tackled him.

Comments: McCormick did not want to go as he had broke his finger in the last game. He still had his one glove on and never threw a punch. Sutherby threw a couple of noogies to the back of the head. This fight did not deserve majors at all. McAllister also got a double minor for roughing up Doig, which could have been a single. Other Penalties: Chris McAllister received a double roughing.

Comments: Starts with them grabbing on, both throw some short rights, then they both throw one heavy shot and both seemed to connect, then they grapple some more, occassionally throwing rights, some connecting, but nothing damaging. After the linesmen jump in, Worrell throws a right with his elbow pad over his hand, then recovers and pats Johnson on the shoulder, like he was apologizing for the late shot.

Comments: Avery had a good hold of Hinote, threw about three punches, none really landed. The third right glanced off Hinote and he proceeded to pull Avery to the ice with him.

Comments: Cummins throws a gloved punch at the back of Avery's head. Brennan comes right in and drops the gloves, Cummins turns to face Brennan who is throwing right hands. Cummins never gets a punch off and Brennan tags him with three good right hands, the last one knocks Cummins to a knee, but he gets up quickly as the linesman move in. Cummins looked a bit dazed and had a cut above his left eye. Other Penalties: Brennan received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Off of the faceoff thesse two drop the gloves again. Brennan landed more and some better rights than Cummins did, but Cummins also landed a few this time. It looked as though Brennan put Cummins to the ice with a right this time too.

Comments: Cummins just went after Brennan again, but Brennan ducked and held on to his gloves. When the cameras got there Cummins was throwing punches at Brennan who was ducking and trying not to get hit. Other Penalties: Cummins received an instigator, misconduct and double game misconduct. Kip Brennan did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: McLaren trys to spark his team by challenging Worrell. McLaren throw two short, quick lefts that connect. Both guys grappling for position; McLaren lands a hard left to the jaw of Worrell that turns his head, followed by a strong right that landed squarely. Worrell seems happy to tie up at this point and the linesmen break the fight up.

Comments: Lots of hugging going on here. They are both throwing rights in close, landing some, but not damaging. Each threw about six or seven rights before the fight finishes.

Comments: Late in first these two go right off the draw with Chicago winning 2-0. In-close they start throwing, Worrell with rights and Vandy with the lefts. Worrell gets three to four straight rights in, Vandy answers with a left or two. They exchange a little more and Vandy throws a right or two then they fall to ice.

Comments: Downey challenges and Worrell obliges. They tie up right away, DOwney getting inside. Worrell gets the helmet off quickly and throws three shots, two miss, one lands on the cheek. Downey then throws two lefts that both hit neck. They both open up a little and Worrell starts bringing it. He lands about three or four rights, but to Downey's credit he lands a left or two on Worrell.

Comments: Parker taps Worrell behind the play and away they go! They grab on and Parker lands about four body shots. They both grapple for a little while, Parker tries successfully to get the helmet off of Worrell, and Worrell quickly does the same to Parker. Neither are willing to give up their grip to trade, they exchange words and let the linesmen come in.

Comments: Worrell runs a Panther and Hordi goes straight after him. Hordi is skating backwards facing Worrell as Worrell just stands there and smiles at Hordi. Finally Hordi just shakes his gloves and throws a right that connects. Worrell drops his gloves and grabs on. Worrell is trying to keep him at arms-length as they each throw a couple of rights that didn't connect. Hordi threw two lefts underneath of Worrell's extended arm that looked to connect. Worrell pulls Hordi's jersey over his head and snaps the tie-down. Hordi then loses his shoulder pads and pops Worrell with a right to the side of the head that stunned him and knocked him down.

Comments: Started after the faceoff following a Colorado goal. They squared off for a few seconds and then came together. Each man threw about three big rights, and each guy appeared to have landed the second of their blows. Tom K. fell backwards, but it didn't appear he fell from taking a punch. Larsen went down on top and the fight was over.

Comments: Starts off the faceoff. They drop the gloves and grab on. Each starts firing short punches. Worrell with the right and Low with the left. When they start throwing punches they each throw about four or five with nothing much doing damage. Some might have landed, but they didn't do any damage. Worrell then locks Low out and throws three rights that don't seem to do much to Low, they might have caught face, but again, no damage. Low then tries four or five lefts, some hitting Worrell's head and shoulder area, one hits Worrell's cheek. After Low's flury of lefts, Worrell tries three short rights, each comes up short. They're in a dance and Low throws a right uppercut that comes up short. They grapple a while and Low tries two rights that hit Worrell's back, or the back of his head, they then throw simultaneous rights. Low's knocks Worrell's helmet off. Worrell's right might have hit Low's cheek. After that Worrell's right seems to get caught in his jersey, so they grapple for a while and Low tries a right and a left. Both hit Worrell's back or neck area. Worrell then gets his right out of his sleeve again and unleashes a right uppercut that looks to connect well. That breaks Low's grip on Worrell's right and Worrell then lands two hard rights to the back of Low's head. The linesmen then come in fast.

Comments: Starts during a scrum. It's mostly grappling with Mellanby landing a couple of short rights to the helmet or visor of Konowalchuk. They start to migrate towards the corner from behind the net and are spinning a little at the same time. Mellanby unleashes a huge haymaker that misses the mark and goes right over Konowalchuk's head. After the haymaker, Konowalchuk pins Mellanby against the glass. Mellanby tries to get Konowalchuk's helmet off while they are against the glass, Konowalchuk has had enough and goes for the takedown and it's over. Other Penalties: Dallas Drake received a boarding.

Comments: They go off the faceoff and jockey for position. Worrell gives Laraque a bit of a ride around the ice as they spin-cycle a little, trying to get set up. Lots of noogies, Worrell got at least three rights in and Laraque answered with two possibly connecting, mostly hitting helmet. Fight ended by the Colorado bench, both still on their feet.

Comments: Cummins crosschecks Eric Brewer from behind and Jason Smith cuts right in. Jim gets in about three rights initially then Smith answers with maybe two of his own and catches Jim off-balance and lands on top. Smith was cut in the scrap and went directly to the lockerroom. Other Penalties: Cummins received a cross checking.

Comments: The fight happens during a commercial break, but they showed the whole replay when they returned. Two big scrums break out, then when things seem to have settled, Cummins and Guerin drop the gloves and slug it out toe to toe at first, but then Jim took over and hammered Bill with several big rights. One seems to make Guerin turn away, and then they just tie each other up and the linesmen step in. Other Penalties: Guerin received a slashing, Brenden Morrow and Cody McCormick each received a roughing.

Comments: The marathon begins. Downey throws off his gloves and challenges Worrell. McAllister drops his gloves and tries to square off with Downey but Downey skates around him to get to Worrell. Worrell then sheds his gloves and Downey gives him a "bring it on" wave, and then pulls up his sleeves. They begin to circle and shadow box. They each try and grab on a couple of times and don't have any luck. Downey finally tries a left that connects to Worrell's right shoulder and Downey then grabs onto Worrell. They grapple for a second and exchange short rights to the helmet. They grapple some more and Worrell throws a weak right that comes up short, then Worrell tries a body punch with the right. Worrell comes back to the head with two short rights that hit helmet or the back of Downey's neck. They grapple some more and Worrell tries two short rights that hit Downey's helmet. Worrell tries to get Downey's helmet off, but he can't. They grapple and spin some, and then Worrell tries a short right that comes up short. Downey responds with a right over the top that comes up short of Worrell's jaw. Worrell responds with two short rights Downey's helmet. Downey comes back with a right that might have landed to Worrell's jaw, but the camera angle makes it impossible to tell. Worrell responds with two rights. The first goes to Downey's body and the second comes over the top and hits Downey's helmet. Downey comes back with a short right to the back of Worrell's helmet. Worrell responds with two rights again. The first to the body and the second comes back to the head, which looked to connect with Downey's shoulder/face. They exchange rights to the helmet and then Worrell finally gets Downey's helmet off. They get in-close and Downey is shaking his head at the linesmen telling them not to come in. They grapple some and Downey tries to sneak in a right uppercut and it comes up short. Worrell comes back with two straight rights, the first comes up short and the second lands flush to Downey's face, but does nothing. Downey responds with four lefts over the top. The first one connects with Worrell's face and jars his head sideways. The next three hit shoulder or helmet. Worrell tries to come back with two rights that hit the side of Downey's head above the ear. Downey tried a right in the exchange that came up way short. They grapple a little more and Downey continues to shake off the linesmen. Worrell goes to the body with a right and Downey responds with a right that comes up short. Worrell comes back with a right that also comes up short. Downey throws a right that knocks Worrell's helmet off. They exchange rights over the top that hit the back of each other's head or back. Worrell goes back to the body with a right, and Downey comes back over the top with a right that comes up short. They exchange rights again, each come up short and then Worrell lands a right that lands flush on Downey's face, but doesn't faze Downey at all. They grapple some more and Worrell tries a right that hits Downey's back and then tries a left that comes up short. Downey tries to throw a left as the linesmen start to come in and hits Worrell's shoulder. They're broken up and the marathon bout is over. Several times during the fight the crowd chanted Downey's name.

Comments: McAllister tried to go with Downey, who turned him down for Worrell. McAllister then throws a sucker punch at Ott, who swings his stick at McAllister while he's on the ice. Comments: The Stars are on the power play and McCormick and Morrow decide to have a go. It starts off at the blue line with no square off. Each player grabs on and starts grappling for position. Morrow finally decides to start throwing and starts off with two rights that don't have much on them and come up short. McCormick then comes back with two lefts that are more like shoves, but he does take Morrow's helmet off during the exchange. They do some more spirited grappling. Morrow then comes with four over hand rights. Two come up short and two hit the side of McCormick's head. McCormick responds with two lefts to the side of Morrow's head. They grapple some and Morrow throws a right to the back of McCormick's head. They grapple some more and Morrow lands a weak right to McCormicks back or neck. They continue to grapple, and finally get some separation. They exchange simultaneous punches, McCormick connects with a straight left and Morrow hits McCormick's shoulder with a right. McCormick then jerks Morrow off-balance and McCormick tries one more left while Morrow is going down to his knees and hits Morrow's ribs or back. The linesmen come in after that.

Comments: Little scrum near the boards and Low and Cummins are talking. Worrell comes in and grabs Low, meanwhile Cummins is separated from the crowd. Walker then skates over and challenges Cummins. They drop em and have a short square off. They grab a hold and start throwing the rights, Walker landing big rights. They grapple a little more, then Walker throws a right that looks to land and sends Cummins to the ice.

Comments: These two come together after a whistle in front of the Avs net, and sqaure off around center ice. They dance, then grab on. McCormick misses about three rights as they wrestle. Danton lands a decent right to McCormick's temple. McCormick throws a right to the top of Danton's helmet and misses a right as he eats another right to the face from Danton. McCormick throws a couple of rights, with one possibly landing well as Danton ducked and grabbed on. McCormick throws two more wierd-looking rights that land on Danton's back. They wrestle as McCormick is on a knee, then the come up throwing. Danton's right appeared to miss or not connect solidly. McCormick fires four big rights over a ducking Danton's head then tries to drive him to the ice. They get up again and McCormick is trying to toss him. They throw noogies while bent over on the ice. McCormick finally flips him and the linsemen come in.

Comments: They talk before the faceoff and McAllister trips Dingman. He gets up and they drop em. Dingman throws two rights to McAllister's should and then Mac throws a big right that goes behind Dingman's head, and momentum causes McAllister to go down. While McAllister is getting up Dingman chucks his elbow pad and throws a right, no harm. McAllister throws his own, that lands on the back of Dingman's shoulder as he moves in-close and these two hug until the linesmen come in.

Comments: They square off, hands low, by the benches. They grab on and Brookbank throws a couple that can't reach. Worrell then throws a right that goes behind Brookbank's head as Brookbank throws a left that connects. Brookbank's a bit off-balance and Worrell throws a right that hits arm. As he's bringing back his right, Worrell hits Brookbank with his left that's full of jersey, more of a push-punch, sending Brookbank down with Worrell on top.

Comments: Right as the puck drops these two square off. They grab on and Parker comes over the top with two rights, Worrell comes back with a right of his own. They both have their right hands free and are holding on with their lefts right in front of the Colorado bench. Worrell throws some jersey-jabs then a straight right. Parker comes back with one, then Worrell throws another right which is blocked by Parker's arm. They now start to spin and Parker is throwing jersey jabs. Worrell comes over the top with one and Parker throws a body shot. A big round house right by Worrell misses and they start to hug.

Comments: The next time Worrell is on the ice with Oliwa after Oliwa's goal, he flat out jumps him. He got in maybe one right before Oliwa hit the ice because of being off-balance and then threw about 4-5 while his was down. This was the retaliation from Oliwa screaming at the Avs bench after his goal. Other Penalties: Worrell received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Oliwa a roughing. Krzysztof Oliwa did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Right after the Worrell-May fight these two drop em. They grab on and Moore throws some weak right hands. Cooke is trying jersey-jabs. Moore throws a right hand and then Cooke throws a few rights of his own. Moore then gets the jersey up on Cooke, but Cooke is able to get his head out the bottom immediately. Moore gets in a few weak rights, Cooke connects with a decent left, and then Moore takes Cooke down.

Comments: Ruutu wants this one. He's skating latched on the Blake and they take off the gloves and it is on. Blake starts with several left crosses and maybe one lands. Rutuu comes back with a right as they wrestle toward the boards. Blake's jersey gets tied up and his helmet is gone. He gets the left free and hits the glass with a left and then tosses another that misses. Rutuu gets a good grip with this left hand and then he starts with the rights. He tosses two that land. The first one puts Blake down. His head almost rams off the boards on the way down.

Comments: Bertuzzi challenges Moore all over the ice. Moore wants nothing to do with him. As Moore is skating away, Bertuzzi lands a gloved-sucker-punch to the side of Moore's face, knocking him out instantly. Moore falls face-first onto the ice with Bertuzzi on top of him. Others pile on, and everyone on the ice is getting together. Hedberg left his crease while all of this was going on and challenges Aebischer, but Aebischer simply pointed to the clock and wanted nothing to do with Hedberg. May finds Sauer for his third (and automically final) fight of the night. They grapple to start, then May gets loose and the camera pans away from the fight and the announcers say that May landed a huge left that hurt Sauer. The camera then goes back to the combatants, only to see May over Sauer. Other Penalties: Johan Hedberg received a goalie leaving the crease penalty; Todd Bertuzzi an attempt to injure; May a double game misconduct; Sauer a game misconduct.

Comments: When the camera gets there, they trade some weak punches, hard to tell what landed because of the angle. Barnaby gets control and Moreau is ducking. Comments: Fight starts in front of the the Yotes' bench. The fight was retaliation for a run Ference had taken at Konawalchuk. Hinote tries to start things off with two rights but they both come up short. They start to grapple and skate behind the Yotes' net. Ference tries a weak right that hits the back of Hinote's helmet. They then throw simultaneous rights both landing to the face. Hinote throws another quick right that comes up short. They grapple some and Hinote tries a right but hits Ference's helmet and somehow hurts himself with that throw. They start to grapple some more and Hinote falls to a knee in pain and the linesmen come in while Hinote is on his knees.

Comments: They go in the corner behind Boucher. Matt takes off his helmet, then Ference does the same since he wears a shield. Brad just held on from then on in. The linesmen then come in to break it up.

Belak throws some overhand rights at Worrell, some landing. Then Worrell starts throwing some haymakers, some barely landing, if at all. They continue to spin around and throw haymakers. Belak lands one that knocks Worrell's helmet off. Worrell counters with some rights of his own. They tire each other out, so the linesman come in to break up the fight.

Comments: Cummins challenges Shanahan off the faceoff, Shanahan hesitates and finally drops the gloves. They square off and finally grab a hold of each other. Cummins throws five quick rights on a ducking Shanahan. They hold on for a while and Shanahan finally lets off some rights of his own, nothing looked to land. They hold on to each other until the linesman come in to break up the fight. Cummins has a small cut from Shanahan trying to rip his helmet off him during the fight.
