| Oct 10, 2003 | 3pd 12:29 | Jason Strudwick | @COL | Jim Cummins |
| Comments: Both drop em after the faceoff and circle. They come together and both start unloading with a lot of jabs. Cummins starts strong and gets a few good rights jabs. Strudwick returns some, but a lot are missing. Cummins then gets another good right that causes Strudwick to turn away. Strudwick then returns with a big left and Cummins tries to hold on. Strudwick starts throwing uppercuts and lands a couple and throws a couple of more jabs as well. Linesmen finally come in and break them up against the boards. Cummins has a cut on his nose. Great fight. | ||||

| Oct 18, 2003 | 3pd 07:44 | Scott Nichol | @ATL | Yannick Tremblay |
| Comments: Nichol nailed an Atlanta player along the near boards and then threw a punch at him. Tremblay jumps in to depfend his mate and Nichol drops his gloves and starts pounding away with the right hand. Tremblay's jersey gets pulled over his head and he's at Nichol's mercy at that point. The linesman are really late to break this fight up (they were watching Moen/Tamer), even though Nichol threw about ten shots at Tremblay without any resistance. The linesmen finally get in between them, leaving Moen and Tamer to have at each other. Moen gets his right hand free and tags Tamer with an overhand. Moen pulls the jersey over Tamer's head, so Tamer holds on for dear life, tying up Moen's arms. The linesman eventually intervene. Other Penalties: Nichol received a roughing. | ||||

| Oct 18, 2003 | 3pd 11:09 | Kyle Calder | @ATL | Jeff Cowan |
| Comments: By this time, the game had been decided, so the Hawks have had it. As Chicago is breaking out, Kovalchuk holds up Bell by grabbing his stick. Bell slashes Kovalchuk, who tries to skate to the bench. Bell takes after him, spearing him in the chest, and following that up with a pretty good crosscheck to the head. Not surprisingly, everyone jumps into the fray. Cowan grabs a hold of Calder and throws two short punches with the left hand. Bell sees this and tries to save Calder, but a linesman has a hold of Bell, who's livid. Another Hawk, Vorobiev, tries to save Calder, but Randy Robitaille grabs him. Luckily, Cowan shows some restraint against Calder, and stops throwing, allowing the linesmen to jump in. During all this, Exelby drops his gloves and goes after Ruutuu and starts throwing left hands. Ruutuu seems to want no part of it, and tries to tie up Exelby. As the linesmen are breaking up Cowan and Calder, Ruutuu manages to throw some weak right hands at Exelby before falling to the ice. | ||||

| Comments: Brennan hits Vandy in the corner, no call. They skate a little and then drop them. They grapple, get loose again, and both get some good shots in. Brennan has the upper hand, throws some soft uppercuts. They exchange good shots, Vandy might have clipped Brennan with a shot and gets the takedown. | ||||

| Comments: Behind the play, Simpson and Moen decide to go. It seemed like Moen was holding on for dear life, though he did sneak one shot in. Simpson had Travis ducking almost the entire time. Simpson landed an uppercut at the end before they tire and Moen gets the take down. Other Penalties: Simpson received a slashing; Moen a roughing. | ||||

| Comments: Off the facoff they go. Burnett throws a quick jab that hits, then they lose hold of each other and circle again. They grab on, Burnett and Vandenbuche spin a little, and Vandenbusche gets his left free and lands a good left followed by more lefts that hit helmet. Burnett slips and Vandenbuschle lands on top. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2003 | 1pd 06:59 | Travis Moen | @NAS | Jamie Allison |
| Comments: Good toe-to-toe scrap at first, both landing a couple of glancing blows. Moen doesn't have great balance, as he slips a couple of times. Allison lands two sweet left hands and Moen slips again. Allison throws two more shots as Moen covers up on the ice. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2003 | 2pd 18:54 | Mark Bell | @NAS | Jordin Tootoo |
| Comments: Tootoo lays a crushing hit on Poapst and Bell is talking to Tootoo and Tootoo immediately drops the gloves. He throws one and misses. Bell barely gets his gloves off and Tootoo fires three more maybe one or two landing decently and Bell covers up and turtles. Bell was yapping at Tootoo after the fight. | ||||

| Comments: Puck leaves the zone and off-camera we are gonna have a scrap. Scott Nichol's trying to get something started for the Hawks, being down 3-0. He goes right at Bootland, who agrees to take him on. Nichol right away grabs on and throws three or four straight rights while Bootland tries to get set. As he does, he falls on top of Nichol and the fight is over. | ||||

| Nov 28, 2003 | 1pd 11:37 | Ryan VandenBussche | @ANA | Garrett Burnett |
| Comments: Vandenbussche and Burnett had a dandy of a go late in the first period. They exchanged some monster shots, while switching hands in the process. It was an old-fashioned duke-out, ending in a massive right hand by Burnett that KO'd Vandy. He got up and his nose just started pouring blood. Vandy was very slow to the bench, and almost fell as he tried to get back up. You can see Burnett tap Vandenbussche on the chest immediately after dropping him - a bit of gentlemanly goondom, if you will. | ||||

| Dec 12, 2003 | 2pd 03:32 | Travis Moen | @DAL | Gavin Morgan |
| Comments: The two drop the gloves and square off. They grab ahold of each other and Morgan throws a couple of rights to start things off. Moen nearly loses his balance but is able to stay on his feet. Moen returns fire with a flurry of rights. They go back and forth with rights but the majority of them miss the target. They spin around and Moen throws two rights to the back of Morgan's head. Morgan throws a right cross that misses and Moen connects with a right that sends Morgan to the ice. Morgan tries to get back up but falls down again. He eventually gets back to his feet but the linesmen are right there to break things up. | ||||

| Dec 14, 2003 | 1pd 02:50 | Ryan VandenBussche | DAL | Gavin Morgan |
| Comments: Vandy pushes Morgan down to the ice in front of the benches. When Morgan gets up they shed the gloves and squareoff. Kevin Collins was lurking around tyring to get in. They jump in and grab on before he does and Morgan tries some rights as Vandy threw some lefts. Vandy gets in close and Morgan feeds him a couple of in-close uppercuts. Vandy spreads out and starts throwing the lefts, with one big one landing as Morgan lost his balance and fell backwards. Vandy threw in another while they were on the ice. When Morgan got up to skate to the box he stumbled and fell flat on his stomach. He was shaken up, but stayed in the box. | ||||

Henry hits a few noogie shots to the back of Bootland's head and Bootland answers back with some overhand lefts. Decent fight, fairly long, but not a whole lot connecting.

| Dec 21, 2003 | 3pd 09:32 | Travis Moen | NJD | Colin White |
| Comments: Rupp and Nichol are exchanging pleasantries near the benches and White skates over, as does Moen, and the gloves fly. No squareoff. They both grab on and are slightly off-balance. They both get rights free and bring them back cocked, but since they are both off-balance they are unable to throw anything. Eventually, White throws one that does little damage. They spin around and Moen throws a right that appears to come up short. Moen then lands a decent punch that forces the off-balanced White to stumble. He gets up and takes down Moen to end the scrap. | ||||

| Dec 23, 2003 | 3pd 10:46 | Travis Moen | STL | Mike Danton |
| Comments: This one starts after a hit from Moen on Danton. They exchange some glove-punches and Danton drops them and drives Moen into the boards. Moen starts off throwing a lot of rights to the back and side of Danton's head while Danton tries to regain balance and answer back. They spin around at arms-length and Danton throws a right of his own. Danton throws another and then gets in close. Moen separates again and throws a flurry of more rights that sends Danton down off-balance. The linesmen jump in, but Danton isn't finished and throws two lefts over top of the refs that landed on Moen. Moen answers back by taking Danton down to the ice and into the boards. Other Penalties: Each player received a misconduct. | ||||

| Dec 23, 2003 | 3pd 10:56 | Johnathan Aitken | STL | Steve McLaren |
| Comments: Shortly after the Danton-Moen scrap McLaren goes right after Aitken and they drop em quick and grab on. Aitken starts throwing lefts as McLaren was throwing the lefts. McLaren's lefts all looked like they missed as Aitken's mostly connected. They then lock up against the boards. McLaren throws two overhand rights, one of which connected and Aitken went down. Other Penalties: Ville Nieminen received a hooking. | ||||

| Dec 29, 2003 | 2pd 07:13 | Ryan VandenBussche | @PIT | Steve McKenna |
| Comments: They were in real tight. McKenna threw two rights that glanced off Vandy's helmet. Vandy tried to throw a couple, but McKenna had the reach advantage big time. They were tangled up and McKenna landed a nice left. Vandy tried to throw a couple more, but he couldn't connect with most because of Mac's reach advantage. He did land one very solid left though that did seem to stun McKenna and got the takedown. | ||||

| Comments: Torres checks Nichol and he turns around and gives him a shove. You can hear the crowd roar as the cameras slowly get back to the fight. They're along the boards and both go toe to toe, each throwing right after right until Nichol slips and the linesmen come in. Torres looked to land the better blows as he was throwing uppercuts now and then during the exchange. | ||||

| Comments: Late in first these two go right off the draw with Chicago winning 2-0. In-close they start throwing, Worrell with rights and Vandy with the lefts. Worrell gets three to four straight rights in, Vandy answers with a left or two. They exchange a little more and Vandy throws a right or two then they fall to ice. | ||||

| Jan 18, 2004 | 1pd 18:29 | Johnathan Aitken | LOS | John Tripp |
| Comments: Aitken and Tripp squareoff in front of the Blackhawk's goal and trade two or three glancing blows each. Tripp with the right and Aitken with left. Aitken's holding off, waiting to throw a right and then bang! Aitken gets the opening and nails Tripp flush with a haymaker. Tripp drops to the ice straight away and Aitken skates striaght off to the box as Tripp needs some assistance to get up. He sits up and is bloodied and looking very groggy and is helped off the ice for repairs. | ||||

| Comments: Off the faceoff Vandy grabs Henry and starts jersey-punching as Henry tries to get a grip. Vandy throws one or two wild swings and connects on at least one of them, cutting Henry under the left eye. Henry locks him out and Ryan keeps trying to reach him, but didn't get anything in. They both start swinging with each guy landing one or two. Vandy starts to jersey Henry and pull his head down. At this point the jersey is over his head and they each throw one. A blinded Henry missed and Vandy got in a punch to the top of Henry's helmet. The linesmen come in as the jersey is now back to normal on Henry. | ||||

| Jan 22, 2004 | 1pd 02:56 | Ryan VandenBussche | CBJ | Jody Shelley |
| Comments: Starts at center ice. When the camera gets there they have a good hold on each other's arms. Shelley threw a right uppercut and Vandy tried some over the top lefts, nothing landing of any significance. They grapple some more and both threw a connecting punch at the same time, Shelley with the left and Vandy with the right. Vandy had Shelley bent over and the linesmen decided to jump in. Vandy more active in this fight then Shelley was. | ||||

| Jan 22, 2004 | 1pd 16:24 | Johnathan Aitken | CBJ | Jeremy Reich |
| Comments: Loong square off, even the crowd started booing, before they finally grabbed on. Aitken has his left free, and Reich his right. Reich throws a couple of nothing punches, then Aitken throws a strong left that wobbles him. He never really regains his footing and the linesmen come in to stop the fight. | ||||

| Jan 22, 2004 | 3pd 07:03 | Johnathan Aitken | CBJ | Jody Shelley |
| Comments: Takes place pretty much right off the draw in the Chicago zone. Aitken does alright at the start being the busier fighter earlier on. Shelley then falls down to a knee and sort of uses his strength to hold Aitken at bay. They have a pretty good hold of one another, but Shelley gets his right free and throws a few, then removes Aitken's helmet. Now Jody takes over and lands 3-4 nice right crosses and then a good right uppercut all flush to the head/face. Aitken tries to get the takedown and the linesmen come into to stop the long fight. | ||||

| Comments: They meet up towards the blue line and drop the gloves. They grab on and just start chucking them. Vandy with the lefts and Shelley with the rights, good toe to toe action. They slow down and each get the other's helmet off. They start up again, although not as piston-like this time. Shelley tries to switch hands, throws a left over the top and Vandy's tucked into Shelley's jersey to avoid it, and pushes him to the ice as the linesmen come in. They skate off and Vandy has a small cut on his nose. | ||||

Horcoff grazes a right off of Henry's temple, then another to the top of Henry's helmet. From the punch Horcoff falls face first into the boards while Henry is ready to let the rights fly. The grab on and Oliwa throws a few rights to the back of Thornton's shoulder. Thornton throws a body shot then tries to go up top, nothing doing, they're in tight. Some air comes between them and Thornton throws two hard shots, first up top, then to the body. Oliwa counters with some punches of his own. They now go back and forth in a good exchange, with Thornton looking like he landed some of the better shots, one being a nice uppercut, although the angle makes it hard to tell how well it connected, if at all. Moen throws a wild left that Montador ducks under. Montador switches, throws a right that doesn't get anything, then goes back to the left, which isn't hitting much either. The two are spinning awkwardly. Montador throws a couple of rights that don't reach a bent over Moen, who then straightens up to throw a big right that misses. As the puck gets loose and gets poked out to the blue line Harvey collects it and is hit hard into the boards by Ruutu. Harvey immediately drops the mitts and grabs Tuomo. Harvey throws a quick left, but Tuomo has him tied up, but then tries another glancing a shot off the helmet. Ruutu then throws his own version of the same punch and they each guy has the other locked up and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Harvey received an instigator and misconduct.

| Feb 27, 2004 | 2pd 02:56 | Mark Bell | CBJ | David Ling |
| Comments: Bell has some words with Nash, gives him a push and Nash trips him up. Bell gets up and Ling pushes him back down. Bell then gets back up and goes straight for Ling. They grab on, and Ling throws a left that Bell didn't expect. They're jostling for position while Ling throws a few short punches that don't connect. Bell bends over and mostly comes out of his jersey with some help from Ling. Bell grabs Ling behind the head, slightly bending him forward and throws a few uppercuts that connect to Ling's torso and then wrestles Ling to the ice, and throws another while the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Feb 27, 2004 | 3pd 01:41 | Jason Strudwick | CBJ | Luke Richardson |
| Comments: The whistle blows and Spacek knocks down Ruutu a bit late. Strudwick is coming over, and Richardson steps up and they drop the gloves. They're in-tight and Strudwick throws some short rights while keeping a hold of Richardson's sweater. They each throw a few short ones that don't do much and then Strudwick gets his left free. He's trying to throw a bigger punch, but Richardson gets him pressed against the glass and throws a left of his own that connects to the side of Strudwick's face. They wrestle a bit and then the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Feb 29, 2004 | 1pd 04:38 | Ryan VandenBussche | FLA | Darcy Hordichuk |
| Comments: They meet up near the Hawks' bench, drop the gloves and away they go. For a good 12 seconds they go toe to toe exactly the way you'd think these two would. Vandy sticks with the left the whole time, while Hordi start with the right, mixes in a few lefts, goes back to the right, and switches back and forth again. Many punches from both sides landing. They finally tire a bit, get in-close and the linesmen come in. Hordi skates away with a nick on his nose, and Vandy's got multiple small cuts on his face. Excellent bout. | ||||

| Mar 05, 2004 | 1pd 02:19 | Jason Strudwick | ANA | Garrett Burnett |
| Comments: Starts in front of the net as Strudwick bumps Burnett and they ditch the mitts. Burnett tries a right as Strudwick tries one as well, both glancing each other. Burnett throws a left to the back of the helmet and starts throwing jersey-jabs with his right while Strudwick kept his left cocked back waiting to deliver. They then spin down to the ice off-balance. | ||||

| Comments: Starts at center ice, both grab on and jostle for position. Burnett throws two quick overhand lefts and Vandy answers back with one of his own. They spin around and Burnett throws a right overtop that misses while Vandy ducks and tries some lefts of his own, both glancing Burnett. They get in-tight and spin around. Burnett gets the right free and starts pumping rights, forcing Vandy down to a knee. | ||||

| Mar 11, 2004 | 2pd 05:32 | Jason Strudwick | @NJD | Turner Stevenson |
| Comments: Stevenson lightly checks Strudwick along the boards. They give each other shots and then grab on. Pretty long fight with not too many power-punches thrown. Each man maybe landed one half-way solid punch. Many to the helmet before they hit the ice. | ||||

| Comments: After Leighton freezes the puck Vandy and Grant give a couple of love taps and then each guy quickly drops the gloves with Marshall throwing a good quick shot and Vandy responding with his own. Great long fight with each man getting in some solid shots to the face. Marshall landed two beauties on the button, but all Vandy did was smile and throw two harder ones back at Grant. Both men agree to stop to end it. | ||||

| Comments: Alexander Semin takes an extra jab at Adam Munro after he freezes the puck, prompting Mark Bell to give him a gloved punch to the back of the head. A scrum ensues and out of it come Vandermeer and Grand-Pierre already throwing punches. Vandermeer throws a right to start things off and Grand-Pierre returns fire with four straight rights. Vandermeer throws a couple of short rights and Grand-Pierre attempts two locked-out rights in response. Vandermeer counters with another right. Grand-Pierre misses with a right cross and Vandermeer takes advantage by throwing a flurry of five rights. They struggle to get loose for a moment until Grand-Pierre gets free and throws a right cross. Vandermeer returns fire with a right of his own to a smiling Grand-Pierre. They then go toe-to-toe with rights for a short while. Vandermeer throws two overhand lefts that come up short. Vandermeer then follows up with two right jabs and a left that connect just before the linesmen decide to intervene. | ||||

| Mar 12, 2004 | 2pd 08:45 | Travis Moen | @WAS | Rick Berry |
| Comments: When the camera gets there, they are squaring off at center ice. Each player grabs on with the left. They both throw simultaneous lefts while holding onto each other's jersey. Both lefts land, but have little force behind them. They enter the spin-cycle and Moen tries a right that hits Berry's left shoulder. The spinning caused Berry to go to a knee and Moen tries another right while he's getting up that hits Berry's helmet. They straighten back up and both players have a hold with the left hand still. After a couple of seconds with nothing happening, Berry looks to surprise Moen with a left while holding onto Moen's jersey. Berry's left jars Moens head back. Moen tries to answer with a quick right that hits Berry's left shoulder. Berry responds with a right of his own that hits Moen's left shoulder. Berry then lands another right to Moen's shoulder and they start to go into the spin-cycle again. Moen tries a left while holding onto Berry's jersey, but it comes up short. Moen then tries a right that comes up short. Still in the spin-cycle and Berry tries a right that hits Moen's shoulder. Moen comes back with a right to Berry's helmet. Berry goes with the right again and gets nothing but helmet. They exit the spin-cycle just in time for Moen to throw a right that hits nothing but helmet. Berry tries to come over the top with a right, but it comes up short by a foot. They grapple for a second or two. Moen hits Berry's helmet again with a right. They then throw simultaneous rights. Berry's was pretty short, but looked like it landed flush, while Moen's right knocked Berry's helmet off. Moen then lands a right to the side of Berry's head. Berry then tries three left jersey-punches, all coming up short. They then decide to enter the spin-cycle for a third time. Berry tries a right that hits Moen's left shoulder. They come out of the spin cycle and start to grapple in-close. The linesmen decide they've had enough and come in. Other Penalties: Mark Bell received a roughing. | ||||

| Mar 14, 2004 | 3pd 18:51 | Jim Vandermeer | DAL | Shayne Corson |
| Comments: This started very slow as both guys grabbed on and it didn't look very spirited. Both were locked out and both were trying to throw short rights without letting the other guy get loose. They decide to open up and start chucking them, Corson lands a few weak rights and short shots and Vandermeer tags Corson with two solid lefts. Corson lunges at Vandy and maybe connects with a weak right that jars Vandy's helmet loose. They grapple some more, then they trade some big lefts, with Vandy's looking a lot more solid and one connecting to Corson's face and drawing blood from the nose. They trade a few more big rights and lefts that have little behind them, then they do a spin and stop throwing. | ||||

| Comments: Vandy asks for this one and they drop em and get in close early. Both fighters get each other's helmet off. Brookbank tries a few rights which don't go anywhere. Brookbank then gets his left free and throws three shots. It looked like two missed clearly and the third might have landed. Vandy then goes for the take down in a short fight. | ||||

| Comments: Moen flattens a Wild player and Henry makes a b-line for Travis. They're in-close and Henry's cut from the Shelley punch last night re-opens. No punches thrown from there on in. They both just hang on until it's broken up. | ||||

| Comments: Vandermeer throws a gloved punch that connects, then connects with a solid right before Johnson is ready, and it definitely hurts Johnson. Vandermeer throws a few noogie lefts to the top of Johnson's helmet as he is bent over. Johnson finishes by forearming Vandermeer to the ice. You can see a nice pink shade to the left cheek on Johnson as he skates to the bench with his head hung down. Other Penalties: Johnson and Vandermeer each received a slashing. | ||||

| Comments: Strudwick comes in and checks Walker and they exchange words as the puck is moving up ice and these decide to go. When the camera gets there these two are exchanging rights. Both land a couple of weak shots and then Walker lands a solid right that jars Studwick's head back. Studwick is kind of stunned and Walker becomes the aggressor and tries four or five rights as they're grappling, but Strudwick has a good grip on Walker's right and Walker is having trouble connecting. They get in-close and Walker throws four or five short rights to the side of Strudwick's head or helmet. Walker then tries to get some seperation from Strudwick, but doesn't have much luck. Walker tries some more uppercuts and body punches, but all Strudwick does is hold on. Walker finally just pins Studwick against the boards and the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Comments: They grab on and Low has Vandermeer pretty well locked out. Low throws several punches, few, if any, connected. Vandermeer gets better position, but they still don't open up. They jockey for position and each throw a few, but nothing substantial connects. Vandermeer connected with two or three jersey-jab rights, and Low connected with some overhand lefts to the top of Vandermeer's head, but other than that, a lot of missed shots from Low. Long fight, they stop when they're too tired to continue. | ||||

| Comments: All Tootoo wailing on a ducking Bell. Bell has his kersey over his head and is pinned against the boards as Tootoo unloads on him. Not much damage, but funny looking since Tootoo is 5'9" and Bell is 6'3". Then as the linesmen step in, Bell throws a punch and he can't even see who he's trying to hit. It looks like he might have tagged the linesman, or come close to it. Other Penalties: Jason Strudwick received an unsportsmanlike conduct. | ||||

| Comments: Behind the play in the Coyotes zone they trade slashes and drop the gloves. Hulse misses with a left, Moen misses with a right. They both have a good hold of one another and can't break free. Hulse forces Moen down to the ice and throws a left at Moen while he's on the ice, looks like it may have connected, but not solid. Other Penalties: Each player received a slashing. | ||||
