| Oct 10, 2002 | 2pd 06:47 | Louie Debrusk | @CBJ | Jody Shelley |
| They drop em off the faceoff after a chicago goal. Shelley gets going first and throws about 4-5 punches while Debrusk is on the defence. One might have hit and another one glanced. Debrusk then get better postioning and throws 3-5 punches as Shelley throws 2 right back at him. One good shot by Debrusk during the flurry. Then they get tied up and the linesmen come in. Shelley had a little cut on his cheak, not sure if it was from the Debrusk punch or a cut that was just reopened. | ||||

| Oct 13, 2002 | 3pd 15:29 | Shawn Thornton | BUF | Eric Boulton |
| Thornton was getting rough towards the end of the game. He got a penalty for taking out Varada after he hit Sullivan a little earlier. Thornton comes out of the box on a breakaway, misses, then gets hammered in the corner by Varada. Thornton follows him up the ice only to run into Boulton. They drop the mitts right away, throw wild rights (quick fight), each land, and Boulton cracks Shawn with a big right hand, dropping him in his tracks. | ||||

| Oct 29, 2002 | 1pd 02:50 | Jason Strudwick | CBJ | Luke Richardson |
| Strudwick checks Richardson, and they both drop the gloves. Richardson throws about 4, with 2 connecting well. Strudwick returns with about 2 more, 1 connecting and then going almost toe-to-toe with each other while both are throwing right hands. At this point Richardson is connecting and Strudwick starts to throw more, connecting to Richardson's head. Strudwick throws 1-2 more that look ok, not too much damage done. Luke then throws maybe 1 more that, and misses as he loses balance and falls. | ||||

| Oct 29, 2002 | 1pd 05:26 | Shawn Thornton | CBJ | Jody Shelley |
| The drop them off a faceoff. Both go toe to toe for about 5 seconds with Shelley landing 3 or 4 really well and Thornton grazing 2 or 3. They tie up a little and Shelley throws 2 more that connect. Thornton gets in close, then Shelley hits him to his knees and the linesmen come in. Right when they do, Thornton pulls Shelley down by his leg. | ||||

| McKenzie checks Thornton against the boards. Thornton hooks him, and they both drop the gloves. All grappling, but Thornton was really trying to get an arm free. McKenzie had the death grip on and was content without throwing a punch. Don't believe there was a punch thrown. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2002 | 1pd 02:37 | Ryan VandenBussche | ATL | Francis Lessard |
| Lessard immediately looks for Vandy off the bench and away they go! Lessard starts off landing a few lefts and Vandy throws a few back. They grapple for a short time while Lessard says a few words, maybe telling him to open up and let the fists fly. Vandy then gets his left arm out of the jersey, but decides to break open with his right hand catching Lessard with a good shot. Then they trade more punches back and forth but not much landing clean. Lessard loses his balance and gets back up. Now the fun begins! Toe-to-toe baby! Both guys just trading punches... lots of them thrown, but again not many clean ones landing because of their positioning. Good, close fight. | ||||

| Nov 07, 2002 | 1pd 12:50 | Jason Strudwick | ATL | Jeff Odgers |
| Big surprise, Odgers spills blood in another good toe-to-toe affair. Odgers begins landing the better shots as they trade an equal amount of punches. Strudwick stops as he winces a bit from the Odgers barrage of short rights. They get twisted around and switch hands several times as they continue to land and throw. Strudwick now uses his reach and tosses in 2 good lefts to which Odgers counters with 2 lefts of his own. Good fight but shorter than Lessard/Vandy. | ||||

| Nov 20, 2002 | 2pd 10:25 | Lyle Odelein | @VAN | Darren Langdon |
| Odelein lands 4 light rights and 1 heavy right as Langdon struggles for position. They dance for a solid :20. Langdon pins Odelein against the boards and lands several lefts to Odelein's now helmet-less head. Langdon might have landed a glancing uppercut, but the camera angle was too poor to tell. They hug for a moment and the linesmen rush in. Odelein is bleeding from his left eye and leaves the box for repairs. Chicago announcers believe that Langdon cut Odelin with a headbutt - could not see for confirmation. | ||||

| Nov 23, 2002 | 3pd 11:44 | Jason Strudwick | @CAL | Craig Berube |
| After a stoppage of play a scrum breaks out and Strudwick and Berube pair off. The ref gets in the middle at first, but decides to let them go. After a good square-off they come together. After some grappling, Berube throws a few ineffective punches. Strudwick gets The Cheif bent over, rips his helmet off, and throws a couple soft lefts to the head. Berube attempts another and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Strudwick received a charging; Petr Buzek a high sticking. | ||||

| Nov 25, 2002 | 2pd 05:04 | Ryan VandenBussche | @COL | Scott Parker |
| Long square off, then Parker dives in and grabs Vandy with the left. A wild swing makes Vandy off-balance and Parker feeds him four or five rights square on the left side of his face. They lock each other out and the refs come in and Vandy takes two shots at Parker over the refs. Parker throws another one over the refs as they get pulled apart. Vandy has a nasty cut over the left eye. Front of his shirt was looking pretty red. He headed for the locker room for repairs. | ||||

| After the short squareoff they tie up, Hordichuk trying to get his right free from Strudwick's crossgrip. Strudwick breaks open with good lefts while holding onto Hordichuk's right sleeve. Hordichuk tried some lefts, but nothing really connecting, so he goes back to throwing with the right and catches Strudwick with a good one that makes his nose bleed a bit. They trade for a few seconds more, Strudwick looking to get the upperhand for most of the fight although nothing damaging really lands from him. Close fight. | ||||

| Happens during the replay of previous fight. Naz jumps in and gets caught with 2 hard lefts from Vandy. Naz goes down, but it wasn't a TKO. Naz' knees didn't buckle or anything, looked more like a willingness to drop and not get hit anymore. | ||||

| Lined up off the facoff and they drop em. Vandenbussche starts throwing hard lefts, a couple landing and Brennan goes down, perhaps a slip or a combo slip/punch. He gets up and they continue with Vandy getting the better of the exchanges. Before they came together Vandenbussche was saying something to the ref, perhaps mentioning something about tape on Brennan's hand. | ||||

| Dec 01, 2002 | 1pd 08:15 | Chris Simon | @ANA | Kevin Sawyer |
| About 8 minutes into the first period these two come together with Simon being the aggressor - continually crosschecking Sawyer until Sawyer drops his gloves and they get into a clinch. Simon opens up and connects with at least 2 big lefts which appear to connect on Sawyer. Simon then misses with a left and has his hand on Sawyer's left shoulder as Sawyer throws one right, which didn't look to connect on the helmet, and then another left which misses as Simon loses his balance and the two tumble to the ice. | ||||

| Right out of the box, after receiving matching unsportsmanlike minors, they go near the Chicago blueline with a nice squareoff. Simon gets a hold of Downey and throws 2 slow lefts and misses while Downey grabs a hold of Simon's sleeve, misses a punch and then elbow's him while bringing his arm back. Simon goes down and Downey falls on top of him. | ||||

Nolan gets 2 to the back of Bell's head, then Nolan gets his arm stuck, but has Bell locked out. Bell then starts doing some damage. Bell gets the helmet off, then he gets off 3 or 4 good shots to Nolan's face, while the sweater of Nolan starts to come off.

Avery a right to the shoulder, and then throws two right that both hit the target. Thomas then lands a big right that puts Avery down but he gets right back up and Thomas throws a right that hits helmet. Avery lands another two glancing shots to the chin. Thomas lands a good right to the cheek. Avery throws a right that looks like it landed on the nose. Thomas throws a left to the back of Avery's head which puts Avery in an akward position and Thomas lands a solid uppercut. They then both land good simultaneous lefts. Thomas throws a left that hits helmet. Avery throws a right that comes up short, and then gets the helmet off. Thomas throws another right that comes up short, they hold on and the linesmen come in.

| Jan 23, 2003 | 2pd 13:31 | Lyle Odelein | STL | Reed Low |
| The two grab each other behind the net after a whistle and look like they want to go, but a linesman jumps in. They won't let go and another ref tells the first to back off. Both players are just holding on for a few more seconds until Low gets his right arm free and throws a few, none of which do any damage. A little more holding and the linesmen start to come in. Odelein shakes his head no repeatedly, and the refs back off. Again, Low throws some rights, Odelein can't get his right free to unload, and the linesmen try to come in. Again Odelein says no. Low throws some more rights, Odelein holds on, and the refs come in. Odelein again shakes his head no, but this time the linesmen ignore him and break up the fight. | ||||

| Strudwick checked McKay in the corner and they dropped the gloves. At first they were just holding on to each other against the boards for quite a while, no punches thrown. They then get onto open ice and still holding on, until Strudwick starts throwing a couple of decent and some weak punches. Nothing connected really well. McKay was just holding on through the whole fight. | ||||

| Jan 30, 2003 | 1pd 01:49 | Jason Strudwick | @BOS | Sean Brown |
| Right off of a faceoff they drop the gloves. Strudwick was a little slow early and Brown threw a few that missed. Strudwick leaned away and Brown made a weak attempt to reach him, but missed that as well. Now Brown is off-balance and Strudwick regains control. No devastating shots but, Brown went to the knee and Strudwick could have buried him, but just held back. Lots of respect for not taking the cheap shot. | ||||

Camera was not following them, but came into the fight with Brad throwing a big right that finds helmet. Simon goes with lefts. Lots of punches thrown by both, none of which appeared to do damage. Simon gets Brad's helmet off and may have gotten him with one left. They wrestle for a bit then the refs came in. They both looked to nod towards each other after splitting up.

Then Struddy gets his head up, and the two started trading left bombs with Strudwick's getting the better of Craig. Berube and Strudwick then dance a little, and Jason lands a couple of quick, short rights. Berube starts swinging and Strudwick swings back as more toe to toe ensues, this time with the rights. Bell drops the gloves and then shrugs to Roenick and gives the "are you gonna drop em" look. Roenick drops em and it's a pretty entertaining fight. Not much landing but a wild exchange. Bell rips Roenick's helmet off and it appears to cut Roenick. Roenick may of landed a wild one and Bell lands two good rights. One an uppercut and one a straight right. Roenick grabs onto Bell's leg and tries to take him down. Bell and Roenick are both smiling afterwards.

The camera returns to the action as Struddy is throwing his usual straight rights, hitting mostly helmet, and Davison is holding back not really throwing any counters. Davison then decides to join the fight and throws a wild one, not hitting, but got Strudwick off the offensive. They grab on and start swinging. Parker lands a left and then hit Simon's helmet. Simon then rips Parker's helmet off and gets his left hand free and hit Parker with a pretty good punch. They then spin and swing, a few punches landed by each, but mostly they hit air. Simon has some trouble getting a hold of Parker, because of this he opens up. Parker takes advantage of this and start unleashing his left, landing a few nice shots to Simon's face, one punch that hits Simon's helmet and seems to break a piece of plastic on it that flies away.
