Oct 24, 2002 1pd 11:10 Jarome Iginla DAL Bill Guerin
Guerin hits Marc Savard with an elbow. Iginla hooks Guerin and follows him up ice, Guerin sidesteps a willing Boughner to get to a willing Iginla they drop at center and both throw the helmets off. Both got a good hold of the other's jersey. Iginla comes up short with a right, Guerin misses with a right and then ducks to avoid a right. Guerin seems to land a right on Iginla's neck/shoulder. They both throw rights with Iginla's landing on top of Guerin's head and Billy's connecting on Iginlas face. Both throw rights again, neither hitting flush. Guerin is throwing blind with his head down, landing on Iginla's neck and Iginla's hittin Billy on top of the head. Iginla misses a right, then apears to hit a ducking Guerin with a nice left. Guerin looks like he's going down, but regains balance as Iginla lands a body back shot. Iginla throws a couple of lefts that don't connect because Guerin is in tight and hunched over to Iginla's waist. Finally Guerin is standing again and Iginla hits him in the temple with a left, then another. Iginla tries two right uppercuts, can't see Guerins face to see if they hit. Iginla then starts kidney punching a hunched over Guerin 3 times, the last one seems to take the fight out of Billy as he goes down to his knees.
Voted winner: Jarome Iginla (100.0%) - Voted rating: 8.2

Nov 04, 2002 1pd 06:27 Craig Berube @NYI Eric Cairns
Early in the first period these two decide to give it a go behind the play. Nice fair square off they, lunge in and grab a hold of each other. Cairns lands a couple of grazers, then Berube lands a clean, straight-right to the chin of Cairns that didn't effect him at all. Cairns then uses his reach and "jerseys him" with the left. Berube's trying, but coming up short. The jersey comes over Berube's head and Cairns is ready to take over, throwing a couple of grazing rights with Berube twisted and bent over, but then the linesman comes in and its over. Cairns looks pissed off.

Nov 19, 2002 2pd 05:31 Steve Begin DET Darren McCarty
Begin throws a hard hit on a Wing, and Darren decides to do a little enforcin'. He skates over to him and the gloves come off. Nice square off, with McCarty doing his old stance that hasn't been seen in quite a long time. They come together, with McCarty grabbing on with his right and Begin with his left. They go toe to toe with Begin clearly getting the advantage and landing 2 good solid shots to the face, and one hard blow striking Mac's helmet. McCarty's punches looked to be off the mark during this initial flurry. Now they get a good hold of each other, and McCarty switches hands and lands a right, followed by a body shot. They grapple a little more and Darren surprises Begin with a solid right uppercut to his chin. Both then fire simultaneous lefts, with both connecting. Only difference is Begin ends up on the ice.

Then Montador tied Moreau up and no punches were landed.

Berube attempts another and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Strudwick received a charging; Petr Buzek a high sticking.

Flames down 2-0, so Montador challenges Lacouture. Lacouture accepts and they grab on, both firing lefts. Lacouture looks to land the first punch, a pretty good looking left. Montador is throwing lefts as well, but isn't connecting. After spinning once, Montador looks like he lands a left on the forehead of Danny and Danny just throws him around and down they go.

Jan 11, 2003 3pd 07:10 Craig Berube CBJ Jody Shelley
Started with Berube and another Blue Jacket, then Shelley stepped in. Berube dropped gloves, Shelley thought for a sec, then dropped. The two squareoff and it begins with each simultaneously firing 5-7 rights a piece. Berube's were quicker and "piston" like, Shelley's longer and heavier. Berube may have connected on a single uppercut, and one of Shelley's looked to have partially landed. Berube slipped, went to a knee, and the linesman broke up.

Jan 13, 2003 2pd 13:14 Chris Drury @MON Richard Zednik
The puck is dumped into the Montreal end, and Drury gives Hossa a wicked slash. The whistle blows and there is a big scrum, everyone is going after Koivu. Everyone is grabbing a man and holding on. Zednik is holding Drury down and Drury doesn't like it so he jumps up and throws the gloves. Things are going Drury's way at first as he lands 3 or 4 rights, none landing with much authority. Then Zednik seems to wake up and realize he is in a fight. He ties up Drury's right hand and starts to go to town, landing about 7 or 8 right hands. Drury eventually goes down from a right. Other Penalties: Marcel Hossa received a tripping.

At the end of the game Erskine and Downey are on the ice, Malholtra runs Shantz and then Calgary makes a change to bring out Begin and Nichol. Begin is skating by and you can see Downey shaking the gloves to challenge him, and then the camera cuts away somewhere else and you can hear a big roar. When they come back Erskine is fighting Begin. They're in tight and Erskine is throwing rights, Begin lefts. Happens pretty fast, and there's a quick takedown with the linesmen rushing in to try and end it and get both teams off the ice.
