Comments: Good square off during a scrum, Cairns attempts a few, but can't reach. With the same hand that's holding Boulton's jersey, Cairns throws a few rabbit punches. Then Boulton unloads with a right, didn't think it connect, and slips off balance. Boulton didn't look like he made a very good attempt to get up. Boulton's bleeding again, probably reopened the cut from before. Other Penalties: Alexei Yashin received a roughing; Jay McKee a double roughing.

Comments: Schultz and Ray bump, then drop em. They jostle for position, then Schultz pulls back and grazes Ray with an uppercut, then tags Ray with a solid right to the cheek. Another punch grazes/misses Ray's temple. Ray then throws and misses two rights pushing Shultz to his knees, then popped him with an uppercut that was hard to tell if it landed. Other Penalties: Schultz received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Lots of grappling along the bench/board area. Wiemer throws a big right that just hits helmet. About 4 more rights from Wiemer, a couple connect. Boulton is a bit off balance and couldn't get upright. The linesmen came in to stop it. Other Penalties: Wiemer received a slashing; Boulton a game misconduct.

Comments: Thornton was getting rough towards the end of the game. He got a penalty for taking out Varada after he hit Sullivan a little earlier. Thornton comes out of the box on a breakaway, misses, then gets hammered in the corner by Varada. Thornton follows him up the ice only to run into Boulton. They drop the mitts right away, throw wild rights (quick fight), each land, and Boulton cracks Shawn with a big right hand, dropping him in his tracks.

Comments: Nazarov is practically begging Ray to go and Ray just skates around in Naz's face talking. He won't go for whatever reason. Naz comes and put's a big hit on Ray and Boulton comes over and decides to engage. Naz overpowers Bulton and does some hugging. He throws some awful slaps at Boulton. Then Boulton just tackles Naz.

Comments: Woolley throws a check right before an offsides call on a Yote. Next play, Langkow throws a check on Woolley. Woolley isn't happy about it and they go. Langkow threw a bunch of light punches, nothing landed. Woolley was mostly defense in this fight, but threw a couple. Langkow then throws one more that cracks Woolley, sending him to the ice. Other Penalties: Woolley received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Pushor nails Campbell, and Boulton goes after him. Lots of grappling, and they both landed some punches, none too effective, Pushor might have gotten a couple more in. Comments: They exchanged punches as Pushor and Boulton are going. Mair threw the first one, then Primeau dropped his gloves and looked to throw a big right. Nothing too exciting, they calm down as they realize that Boulton and Pushor are going, but it is too late, they get game misconducts for a nothing fight. Other Penalties: Both players received game misconducts.

Comments: Boulton wants to go with McKenna as the clock ticks down. They drop with McKenna skating towards a backtracking Boulton. McKenna clocks Boulton with a right to the jaw, stunning Boulton, who ducks and puts both hands over his head and falls to ice/knees. McKenna then throws 5 more to the top of the head to the defenceless, turtling Boulton.

Comments: Fair square off near center ice. Boulton starts with a big right that lands. Boulton throws another, misses, and slips. Both guys seem off-balance. Boulton throws some more rights to Boulerice's helmet. Boulerice throws and lands some rights of his own. Boulton gets Boulerice's jersey up and throws some uppercuts that seemed to connect. Spirited battle here, looked like Boulerice was bleeding from the mouth.

Comments: It starts off the faceoff. Lots and lots of hugging at first. Boulton pulls Lessard's helmet off. A few noogies from Boulton. More wrestling, and finally both guys throw a right. Boulton connects with his, Lessard may have with his. Boulton throws a bunch of short rights to the back of the head, Lessard a couple of hard lefts. They both try the right again, not much happening. Linesmen finally break them up.

Comments: All the scrappers are out. Boulton and Ray get a little pushing and shoving going. Ray goes to skate away. Myhres grabs Ray and drops his gloves and spins Ray around. Ray falls to his knees, throws his gloves and tries to get up. Boulton jumps in and then everybody gets in and starts wrestling. No real fight. Boulton and Myhers both for some reason get thrown out of the game. Other Penalties: Myhres received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Boulton a game misconduct; PJ Stock a misconduct. Rob Ray did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: They drop them by the benches. Mair is wailing away with the left. A bunch of shots land, some miss. Mair rips Neil's helmet off and hits him twice with it. Mair is going crazy with the left, hard to tell if he's landing them all. Neil finally throws a few back and lands one or two, others come up short. Mair with more lefts, including one that appears to land well. Very entertaining fight. Other Penalties: Mair received an attempt to injure match penalty.

Comments: Grosek meets Biron in the corner, and Biron hits him with his trapper. Warrener comes over and the gloves fly off. Grosek throws around three quick, short rights that land weakly. Warrener gets his right free and throws a few, hitting mostly helmet. Grosek is sort of hunched over, loses his balance, then falls. Not much of a fight. Warrener is favoring his right hand afterwards.

Comments: Right after a Buffalo goal, the two square off. Boulton throws two rights in, Stock comes back with some of his own, and they go toe to toe with the rights. Looked like most were landing, Stock possibly with the better shots. Boulton gets off-balance and goes down. Short scrap.

Comments: Brown nails Henrik Tallinder into the boards. Gratton immediately skates over and drops the gloves. Everyone piles in, and the two come out of the pile. Gratton is throwing the right quickly, looks like quite a few landed. Brown throws some rights back, landing a couple. Grappling, more rights from both fighters, Brown tries the left to no avail. Right uppercut from Gratton finds the mark and Brown answers with a decent right. The linesmen step in shortly after. Other Penalties: Gratton received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: They go right by the penalty box, and Boulton is firing away with the right. Stock loses his helmet and is getting pummeled and starts throwing lefts back. Boulton is still throwing rights and landing some good ones, Stock gets his right out of his jersey and starts throwing back. Possibly more rights from Boulton, and the linesmen get in there. Stock waves to the crowd. Other Penalties: Both players received a slashing minor.

Comments: Boyle gets knee to knee contact on Boulton. Cameras got there late, but Boyle was laying on the ice and Mair had the gloves off. According to the announcers, Boyle went down after one punch, he never dropped the gloves. Other Penalties: Boyle received a roughing; Mair a double slashing, instigator and misconduct. Dan Boyle did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: During the Mair-Boyle "fight", Boulton, probably pissed because of the knee hit, is looking to fight someone, and the cameras go to him and Neckar grappling by the boards. Boulton looks to be picking his spots and throwing rights. Nothing really good landed though. Neckar tries to throw a few rights, but this is quite a mismatch. Other Penalties: Both players received game misconducts.

Comments: It starts in the faceoff circle to the right of the Buffalo net. LaCouture throws around three punches that land on the side of the head. Lots of grappling, Warrener gets his left free and throws a couple, either not landing or just to the side of the head. More wrestling, LaCouture tries a short right, Warrener gets his right free, throws a couple, landing on one, and pulls LaCouture down. A lot of wrestling with neither guy landing much.

Comments: Worrell starts off with a couple of rights, Boulton falls to his knees and loses his helmet, but gets back up, and throws a few rights. Worrell with a couple to the back of the head, misses an uppercut, two more to the back of the head. Another right, and Boulton taps Worrell on the chin with the left hand that's holding onto the jersey. Another right from Worrell hits the back of the head, and Boulton is looking for an uppercut, but only hits chest. Worrell does the same, then nails Boulton in the face with a right, Boulton buckles, but hangs on. One more right to the back of the head, and Worrell wrestles him down. Boulton has a cut above his left eye from the big right.

Comments: Gratton is looking for payback for an earlier hit, bumps Primeau after the play, and they drop the gloves. Gratton is in control early, throwing rights, a few uppercuts, nothing landing all that well. Primeau gets his right free from the jersey and starts throwing rights, nothing really effective. Gratton comes back with his own, and they trade rights back and forth for a while until the linesmen step in. Other Penalties: Dmitri Kalinin received a hooking.

Comments: They initially got roughing minors. Immediately after they come out of the box, they drop 'em and go, engaging in a hell of a toe-to-toe exchange with Fedoruk switching hands. Fedoruk lands a huge punch that really looked to stun Ray and was well on his way to a victory, when Ray nailed him with a huge bomb, dropping Fedoruk!

Comments: Ray elbows Stock right in the kisser, and everyone piles in. Ray and Stock drop the gloves, but the linesmen are in between them. Both guys are trying to get at each other. No significant punches thrown by either, but fighting majors for both. Ray gets 19 penalty minutes, and Sean Brown gets a gamer for third man in. No "real" fight. Other Penalties: Stock, Krzysztof Oliwa and Jay McKee each received a roughing; Sean Brown a game misconduct; Ray an elbowing, roughing and misconduct.

Comments: Domi just drops the gloves and Ray follows. Domi grabs on, gets one left in, then another that lands right on the chin and pops Ray's helmet off. Ray hits the ice, but jumps back up. Domi is spinning him and lands or two more, then Ray regains composure and gets close. Ray then lands two bombs square to Domi. They are in close and Ray tries pulling Tie's helmet off and it is on his head sideways. Ray lands a good shot and the lid pops off. Domi gets a weak jab in and the linesmen come in. Both guys give each other a tap and smile for sportsmanship and go to the box.

Comments: Tucker takes a run at Kalinin and Mair objects. They drop them around the Sabres blueline. Mair lands lightly with three lefts to start, and they have each other tied up pretty good. They trade a few back and forth, and Mair looks to have landed two good left uppercuts and missed on one as Tucker goes down.

Comments: Kalinin drops them and grabs on before Ruutu has his gloves off. Ruutu drops them, and Kalinin gets a right in. He has the right cocked, but Warrener jumps in and draws a crowd. Nothing much here, Kalinin threw the only punch. Other Penalties: Rhett Warrner a game misconduct; Kalinin an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Asham starts off throwing those short jersey-grabbing-hand lefts, more annoying than doing any damage. They each throw a couple of bigger punches, looks like Asham lands a decent one. Rhett then takes over and starts throwing with good follow through. Asham got in one more decent right when Rhett missed on one of his rights, and from there it was all Rhett. Asham was ducking to the side as though he just wanted to stop. Nothing Warrener threw at Arron was devasting, but he got in a bunch of rights to the side of the head.

Comments: Varada bumps Grahame in the corner and gives him a shot to the face. Grahame goes after Varada. Varada drops the gloves and grabs him. Grahame, still with his mask on, drops his gloves and throws a right uppercut, and that draws everyone in, including Martin Biron, who goes the length of the ice. Everyone wrestles for a while, and it's broken up. Didn't really deserve majors. Other Penalties: Denis Hamel received a roughing; Martin Biron a goalie leaving the crease minor.

Comments: Off the faceoff Mair wants Sutherby and drops the gloves. Mair gets off about three lefts before Sutherby responds. Both then get free and throw 7 bombs each, both landing a few. Mair then falls and pulls Sutherby down with him. Sutherby had a bloody nose. Mair had a cut over his left eye.

Comments: Hamel drills Berry into the boards behind the net and Berry wants to go. They drop the gloves and grab on, Hamel tried his best, but nothing really came of it. He threw one over the top, but it didn't connect. Berry threw a few rights to the back of the head, then waited for the linesmen to step in.

Comments: McCabe smashes Mair on an offside call, and everyone piles in. Ray punches Ponikarovsky, who doesn't like it, and comes back at him. They throw gloved punches until Ray drops 'em, and Ponikarovsky, who's wearing a shield, follows. Ponikarovsky isn't doing too bad, actually, responding to Ray's rights with ones of his own, but Ray lands a big right and Ponikarovsky goes down, TKO Ray. Other Penalties: Ray received a roughing.

Comments: Mair is looking for revenge because of the late hit, and goes after McCabe. They go toe to toe, Mair with lefts, McCabe with rights. Mair was busted open by one of the uppercuts, but came back at the end. McCabe goes off balance at the end and they both tumble down. McCabe seemed to be landing the better shots.

Comments: These guys are going toe to toe with some right bombs, many landing nicely. Corson slows down a bit, and Gratton starts taking over. Corson comes back with some lefts, and both guys are dead tired. Nice long fight.

Comments: Belak starts with a bunch of jersey-grabbing-hand lefts. Boulton can't land his uppercuts and Belak lands a couple of uppercuts of his own. Boulton takes a knee, but gets up. Most of Boulton's shots are coming up short, and Belak's aren't landing well. Boulton's jersey comes off at the end.

Comments: This one didn't take long, about 11 seconds into the game. Right off the faceoff. Short square-off, Brash grabs on and Boulton throws a right to the side of the head. Some hugging, Brash's helmet falls off. Boulton gets the right free and throws a few more, nothing damaging. Brash eventually pulls Boulton's helmet off and tries a few, they land on the top of the head. It opens up a bit, Brash landing a few hard lefts, and Boulton trying to respond with one. Boulton falls, possible TKO/KD for Brash. Boulton comes out of it with a red mark on the right side of his nose.

Comments: Yes, you read that right. Kim Johnsson slashes Maxim, who is pissed. At the other end of the ice, he hits Murray from behind. Murray goes right after Afinogenov and they actually drop the gloves. They look really into it, threw a few each, but nothing much happening. They fall and it's over. Other Penalties: Joe Sacco received a roughing.

Comments: Quick fight after a check by Malhotra, but this was retribution for McKee hitting Modano earlier. Tight quarters pretty much the whole way. McKee lands a couple, with Manny getting the takedown and a couple along the way.

Lessard gets the better of it by landing many more, and it's basically just grabbing after that. Lessard slams Boulton into the boards, Boulton throws a few more rights, and the linesmen come in.

Comments: Big scrum after the whistle, everyone gets into it. Cowan and Fitzpatrick tie up and fall, drawing roughing minors. Boulton is trying to get at Exelby, but is being held off. Mair hooks up with Simon. Simon kicked Mair's legs out, and Mair was off-balance for the entire fight, and couldn't get anything going. Simon landed a few lefts. Other Penalties: Rory Fitzpatrick received a roughing; Jeff Cowan a roughing and misconduct; Boulton a misconduct.
