Comments: Scrum is forming and these two break free and drop the gloves. Brashear is fighting in tight and lands a few quick punches while it appears Parker's couple miss. Parker gets his right hand free as Brashear "falls" (there is debate whether he fell or took a dive). With his right hand cocked back and ready to go, Parker let the linesmen come in since Brashear was down.

Comments: Berry drove Herbert Vasiljevs into the boards hard and Brashear took offense to it. Brashear grabbed ahold of Berry, and Berry dropped the gloves first. Berry threw a right that missed and then Brashear threw a couple of lefts with one landing solid on Berry's nose. Berry's jersey got over his head and Brash threw a few more lefts as the linesmen were stepping in. Berry had a bloody nose after the fight.

Comments: Parker tried to get Brashear to drop 'em a couple of minutes prior to this fight, but was denied by Brashear. After a long square off, Brashear grabbed a hold of Parker and held on tight. Parker and Brashear grappled a bit and Parker fell down hard on top of Brashear. The linesmen let the two get up and continue (thank you). Parker tried to throw a couple of rights and got Brashear's helmet mostly off. Parker threw a few rabbit shots and then Brashear threw a right and got Parker's helmet off. The two got real close, and then proceeded to exchange mostly rabbit shots. The two then proceed to have a slight conversation (Parker was most likely telling Brashear to throw 'em and not hold on). Brashear seemed to nod and slightly let up on his grip. Brashear lands a decent right. Parker throws a wild right to no avail as Brashear continued to hold on tight. Parker did manage to land a nice left in tight and a few more rabbit shots before going down with Brashear. Parker was the aggressor in this fight and both landed semi-decent shots. Crawford was applauding Brashear's performance after the fight.

Comments: They were in real tight, with each tying up the other really well, then they go loose. Both threw some major league bombs, with nothing much connecting, maybe two a piece, but not hard.

Comments: They do a little dance at center ice before they tie up, they are at arms length. Each of them throw a few with none landing. Primeau then landed a decent right hand to Baron's cheek. Then he may have landed a couple of more solid shots before getting the takedown on Baron.

Comments: Scrum is going on behind the net after a stoppage. Bertuzzi and Fischer are in the middle of the zone and decide to drop the gloves. They both hold onto each other tight. Fischer attempts to throw two rights. Neither connect. Hugging again. Bertuzzi tries to throw a short right that doesn't do anything. More hugging. Then they fall with Fischer on top.

Comments: As the 1st fight started, Marshall goes after Cooke by the Wild net during a scrum. Cooke throws off his gloves and fires about 2 rights that knock Marshall down. He's bloody. A linesman breaks it up as Cooke is on top of Jason. As Marshall gets up, he's able to break away from the linesman and challenge Cooke for round 2. Matt basically held on and ducked his head to avoid getting hit. Marshall landed a couple helmet shots and that was that. As he went to the bench, J.M. pointed to the Canucks bench. Other Penalties: Cooke received a roughing and both players received game misconducts.

Comments: Fedoruk crushes Lachance along the boards and Brown comes in. They get together and decide to dance. They both grab ahold of each others jersey and neither fighter is able to get a hand loose. Both try to throw a few, but they are in too close and tied up within their jerseys. The refs break up what was a crap fight.

Comments: Shanahan is forechecking hard in the Canucks zone, and the puck comes to Baron. Baron sees Shanny coming and gets rid of the puck. Shanny finishes his check anyways, and Baron didn't take too kindly to that, so off come the gloves. A brief squareoff between the two, then they come together. Both guys have a hold of each other's left arms, looking to load up and score with the rights. They both jocky for position, and trade rights, none of which do much damage. Shanny then gets the left hand loose and gets off about 4 shots, which landed but didn't do much damage. Zebras come in and the fight is over.

Comments: With the Wings down 3-0, Avery challenges Linden and they drop them at center ice. Another Canuck grabbed at Avery, distracting him for a moment. Trevor tried to seize the opportunity, but just missed with a right. Linden threw and landed a couple rights followed by a couple rights by Avery which only appeared to graze Linden. Trevor tries for another right but misses and his momentum brings him down to the ice. Avery throws 1 more as Linden is down.

Comments: Langdon was given two minutes for roughing up a Canuck (Ohlund). On Langdon's next shift, coach Crawford sends Mike Brown over the boards to get things going with Langdon. A little bit of talking and off come the gloves. Langdon seemed to land a couple of uppercuts, Brown landed some hard shots as well. It was a decent toe-to-toe scrap with Brown controlling it for the most part.

Comments: They are tied up along the boards and basicly just wrestle. The linesmen thought about coming in a couple of times, but didn't. Petrovicky throws some noogies and Cooke eventually comes back with a few of his own. Petrovicky out-noggies Cooke in the end, but it wasn't much of a fight.

Comments: Fair mano y mano square off. Ed dives in and they both grab on. Jovo tries a right that misses. Pushing and tugging. Two lefts from Stevenson and a return right from Jovo all miss. A wild right from Ed gets Stevenson's arm and a follow up right misses entirely. Again, Jovo throws wildly and crashes into Stevenson's shoulder area. A Stevenson left misses. Jovo slips down to a knee but quickly recovers and lands another right into the arm. Stevenson somehow misses a short right. Jovo throws three consecutive nothing rights. Jovo ducks a left and comes up throwing a right which bounces off Stevenson's helmet. Jovo ends up behind Stevenson and goes for the bodyslam. Down they go and it is over. Not a great fight, but it did have spirit.

Comments: This happened 6 seconds after the Marshall fight, Strudwick landed a few early shots, but Brown answered with some dandies of his own. There was a lot of grappling in the middle with Brown landing one more decent shot.

Comments: After what seemed like the third time Ohlund took a run at Gaborik, Lemaire finally sent Johnson out to send a message. Johnson finds Ohlund and knocks him down with a huge gloved right. Johnson then grabs Naslund, shoves his helmet from behind and Sopel comes in to their defense. Big Moose was throwing hard, Sopel just kept his head tucked under, too hard to see if any of Matt's upper cuts connected. Other Penalties: Johnson received a roughing and a match penalty for attempting to injure.

Comments: Started after Vancouver's 5th goal. Both guys agree to go mutually after some egging on by Shelley. Off come the gloves and both men grab on. Shelley with the right drawn back. Shelley fires a heavy right that just misses Baron's face. Jody returns another right that catches the helmet. Repeat last sentence. Another right lands to Baron's neck. Jody tries again with the right, but Baron has his arm locked out now. It is obvious that Baron is out of Shelley's league. Jody tries a right uppercut, but it don't have the distance. Baron's helmet is down over his eyes. Murray fires a right that misses which allows Shelley to throw a right that also misses. Off balance a bit, Shelley throws a wild right which lands on Baron's back. Grabbing. Another right uppercut from Shelley may have grazed Baron. A straight right from Shelley is blocked. Baron comes back with a right that falls short. Shelley throws another right that is blocked. The next right is heavy duty and Baron blocks it with his head. He topples to the ice like a toy. Not a TKO or KO. Just a heavy shot that muscled him down. Jody lands another right to the ribs on the way down. It's over now. Other Penalties: Shelley received a misconduct.

Comments: Pederson runs into Cloutier, both push and shove at one another. Helmer jumps in to protect his goalie, and the gloves come off. Pederson throws 3-4 rights (no damage), Helmer comes back with two rights that hit Pederson's helmet. Both lock each other up pretty well, Pederson gets a left free and throws a couple (he landed one of those). Helmer then wrestles Pederson to the ice. Pederson was cut over his right eye, but it most likely wasn't from a punch. Other Penalties: Pederson received a crosschecking; Helmer an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Dan Cloutier a roughing.

Comments: A scrum ensues behind the Canucks net when Hlavac and Nichol exchange blows. Letowski is tangled up with Morris and for some reason, Morris decided to jump Letowski when he wasn't even looking. Morris began throwing bombs at the outmatched Letowski before he even had his gloves off and knocked him down. Other Penalties: Morris received an instigator and misconduct; Jan Hlavac and Scott Nichol received roughings.
