Comments: In a blowout game, Boulton catched Lindros with a big hit and Domi skates in and throws a gloved punch at Boulton to protect his concussion-prone linemate. Exelby grabs Domi from behind allowing Boulton to unloads five heavy rights on Domi who can't defend himself. At this point, all the players pile in and the linesmen break this up. Lindros ends up on top of Exelby, but when they get up, they break away from the main scrum. Exelby wants to swing, but Lindros holds on and doesn't look interested. Exelby may have connected with some soft punches, but held up since Lindros was trying to talk him out of it. Meanwhile, Boulton gets ejected for pushing a linesman who is trying to separate him from the crowd. Wade Belak manages to get a few shots in at Boulton when he's down, after which Belak challenges the Thrashers bench. Other Penalties: Domi received an instigator and misconduct; Boulton an elbowing and game misconduct; Ron Petrovicky a double roughing; Wade Belak a roughing and misconduct.

Comments: Moments after the first brawl of the game, Sutton charges Tucker into the boards, cutting him open by forcing his head into the divider. Jason Allison goes after Sutton, but de Vries cuts him off. Everyone grabs a dancing partner, but only Allison and de Vries start to throw punches. de Vries catches Allison with a hard right and proceeds to pound on him. After a brief pause, de Vries starts landing at will on Allison and then wrestles him down. Other Penalties: Andy Sutton received a match penalty for attempt to injure.

Comments: The puck drops and Orr issues the challenge. Belak accepts and away they go. Orr starts it off with the rights, throwing about three before Belak gets started. Belak then gets his right going, landing a few. They grapple for position and then both get some more rights in, but they're both missing more than they're connecting. They grapple a bit more before Orr switches to the left. He throws a few, but misses with all. They both start landing a few rights then return to grappling which brings the linesmen in. Belak sneaks a right in as Orr is being restrained. Belak skated away bleeding from his nose, and wore a full shield in the second period, most likely due to a broken nose.

Comments: McGrattan tries to hit Domi along the boards. Domi gives him the elbow and they decide to go. Good, fair square off. They come together and hold on. They exchange a few punches and Domi lands a couple of jersey shots. McGrattan then lands a bomb and Domi goes down. Domi was cut and had to leave.

Comments: The game is over and a scrum ensues along the boards. Tucker and Clark separate and Clark is holding on. Clark frees up an arm and throws a few back of the head shots that don't do much. Tucker then gets free and set and throws 6-7 shots with at least 2-3 connecting. The linesmen jump in as clark starts throwing again. Tucker's already cut nose was re-opened. Clark's nose and eye looked bloody, but Clark was also cut from the night before. Other Penalties: Each player received a slashing.

Comments: The two drop the gloves near the benches and square off. Boulton grabs on and misses with a short left as Belak returns fire with about 6-7 rights of his own, most of them hitting the back of Boulton's helmet as he is ducking away. Boulton throws a right of his own during the flurry. They tie up and struggle to get loose and keep their balance. Boulton throws a right as Belak comes back with 4-5 of his own. Boulton shakes off his elbow pad and throws a couple of short rights. They spin around as Belak throws a couple of rights. Boulton comes back with a locked out right of his own. They tie up again as Boulton gets his arm loose and lands about 9-10 rights to the back of Belak's head, a mix of long and short punches that knock Belak's helmet off in the process. Boulton throws a couple of more short rights over the top as Belak throws a right that causes both players to lose their balance and fall half way to the ice for a moment. They get up and Boulton throws two rights to the back of Belak's head before the linesmen intervene.

Comments: After laying out Eric Lindros with an open ice hit, Alberts goes down and starts shoving Domi along the boards. Domi turns around and they drop the gloves. They wrestle around for a bit until Domi gets his left arm loose and throws a left that knocks Alberts' helmet off and sends both players to the ice. Domi gets back up, but the linesmen are already in between the two as Domi gets in a right while Alberts is down.

Comments: Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and square off. They tie up as Ott tries to throw a couple of locked-out rights as they are up against the boards below the benches. Tucker starts throwing numerous rights at Ott who returns fire with three rights of his own during the exchange. Tucker continues throwing rights as Ott tries to duck away from the punches. Ott then switches hands and starts throwing a number of lefts at Tucker who responds with a few short rights. Ott switches back to his right hand and connects with two good shots that stun Tucker. They get in close and each throw a couple of punches to the back of each other's head. They wrestle around until Tucker throws three overhand rights and tries to rip Ott's helmet off before the linesmen come in.

Belak throws a right as Neil switches hands and comes back with a left. Neil rips Belak's helmet off and then throws two rights. Belak returns fire with a right of his own. Neil throws a couple of short rights before Belak comes back with a right. They exchange punches as Belak switches hands and throws a left. They wrestle around as Neil lands a 4-5 body punches on Belak before the linesmen come in.

Comments: Spezza skates after Colaiacovo and gives him a shot in retaliation for a spear seconds earlier and they quickly drops the gloves. Spezza throws a quick right as Colaiacovo returns fire with two rights of his own as players start piling in. They go underneath the net for a moment until Spezza wrestles Colaiacovo to the ice and starts throwing mounted punches on him until the linesmen rush in. Other Penalties: Spezza received an instigator and misconduct; Colaiacovo a slashing.

Comments: The two start talking and decide to drop the gloves behind the play. Wilm throws three right hands to start things off. Pothier throws a locked-out right as Wilm rips Pothier's helmet off. Wilm throws a few shorts rights as Pothier comes back with a right of his own. Wilm throws 3-4 long rights with the last one connecting. Pothier switches hands and throws a couple of rights as Wilm returns fire with a right. Pothier throws a right to the back of Wilm's head and the two struggle to get loose until the linesmen come in to break things up. Other Penalties: Wilm received a holding.

Comments: With under a minute to go these two drop the gloves immediately as the puck drops after a Boston goal. They circle around, grab on to each other and LaCouture throws a couple of lefts that don't do any damage. They grapple some and LaCouture continues throwing lefts, landing some, and tugs Domi to his knees with his right. The linesmen quickly come in.

Comments: Janssen puts a nice hit on Mats Sundin and Tucker comes over to challenge the rookie. They drop the gloves and grab on. Tucker gets loose first and lands a nice right to the left cheek. Tucker gets free and starts throwing several more rights, the first two with his helmet stuck on his sleeve. Janssen throws a right of his own, and they grab on with Tucker trying to work his way out of his sleeve. Janssen now starts throwing some very good occassional rights while Tucker seems to have tired. Janssen catches Tucker with a few good ones of the half dozen or so he throws. Janssen then waives the linesmen off and throws some more rights, one of which really caught Tucker and made him bury his head. At the end they have one more brief exchange with a few more rights from Janssen and Tucker trying to answer with his right and then with a left. Janssen is cut on the left cheek, either from Tucker's first punch or from the helmet. Other Penalties: Tucker received a head butting major.

They grapple before Belak throws a short right with Janssen returning fire with two rights that hit the back of Belak's helmet. They wrestle up against the boards until the linesmen come in. Comments: Domi gives Neil a poke with his stick as the two talk before dropping their gloves and squaring off near the side boards. They grab on and tie up as they exchange short right hands. Neil throws three rights as Domi returns fire with a right of his own. Both guys throw a couple of wild punches that miss before they get in tight again with Neil ripping Domi's helmet off. Neil throws 4-5 overhand rights to the back of Domi's head as Domi connects with two rights while Neil's jersey is up and over his head. Neil throws a few more overhand rights as his jersey comes down and his vision is restored. They wrestle around in close quarters as Neil throws three more rights to the back of Domi's head before Domi lands a short left. Neil throws a left and then a right hook as he loses his balance and goes down to his knees for a moment. Neil returns to his feet as Domi throws a couple of rights before they lose their balance and tumble to the ice.

Comments: McGrattan skates over and shoves Belak as they get the sticks up before dropping the gloves and squaring off at center ice. McGrattan starts things off with two short rights as Belak throws two jersey-jabs. McGrattan misses with a right as Belak throws a wide right and a jersey-jab. McGrattan then throws three jersey-jabs and a right before Belak returns fire with a right of his own. Belak throws a few more jersey-jabs as McGrattan connects with a left before switching hands and landing a right to the side of Belak's helmet. The two continue to throw jersey-jabs before they begin exchanging right hands that miss for the most part. McGrattan lands three rights to the side of Belak's head as Belak continues to throw jersey-jabs and the occasional right. They go back and forth with jersey-jabs and rights for a short moment before Belak loses his balance and falls to the ice.

Comments: Garnet Exelby nails Mats Sundin with a huge open ice hit that keeps Sundin down on the ice with a bloody nose. Kilger goes after Exelby, but de Vries steps in and they drop the gloves and grab on. Kilger throws about five rights with a few landing as de Vries struggles to get an arm free. de Vries then lands a right cross and Kilger connects with a right that knocks de Vries' helmet off while he is bent over. Kilger removes his own helmet and proceeds to throw two rights that miss as de Vries returns fire with a right. de Vries lands another right and Kilger loses his balance and goes down to a knee before both guys fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Kilger received an instigator and misconduct.

Dingman lands a right and Belak responds with a right to the side of Dingman's helmet before the two go back and forth with rights that catch nothing but helmet. They grapple and Dingman throws an overhand right that is blocked and countered with a Belak uppercut. Belak shakes off his elbow pad and then the two fall to the ice.

LaCouture lands a right jab as Domi grabs ahold of him and starts throwing lefts at him while they are spinning around. LaCouture loses his balance and tries to stay on his feet while Domi continues to throw left hands. LaCouture is able to stand up straight as Domi throws two rights to the back of LaCouture's head before LaCouture connects with an overhand left that knocks Domi's helmet off. Domi goes down to his knees and lands another left and LaCouture throws a right that grazes the top of Domi's head before wrestling Domi to the ice. Other Penalties: Travis Green received a high sticking.

Comments: Tie Domi grabs Todd Simpson along the boards and fires a few punches on Simpson, who doesn't fight back, and every player on the ice jumps in. The players pair off, and after 15 seconds of pushing and tugging on one another, Dandenault and Allison start throwing punches. Allison starts off with a right uppercut, following by two overhand rights. Dandenault answers with an uppercut and they tie up. After a pause, Allison throws three rights and Dandenault makes a few half-hearted attempts to answer before the linesmen move in. Other Penalties: Tie Domi received a double roughing and misconduct; Todd Simpson a roughing.

Comments: Kovalev is carrying the puck. Tucker skates to check him and Kovalev delivers an elbow to the Tucker's face. Tucker, bleeding badly from his forehead, gets up, seeks out Kovalev, drops his gloves, and jumps him. Tucker lands two hard rights before everyone jumps in and a large five on five scrum ensues. The pair never gets free enough to throw any more punches and they're eventually wrestled down to the ice and broken up by the linesmen. Other Penalties: Tucker reiceved an instigator and misconduct; Kovalev a major elbowing and game misconduct.

Comments: Behind the play the two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They tie up and Gaustad flings his right arm behind Belak, throwing a right to the back of his head. Belak then throws four punches to the head and body of Gaustad. Belak throws another right while Gaustad charges forward and throws a couple of straight body shots. Belak lands two rights and two uppercuts with Gaustad going down to a knee during the flurry. Gaustad digs his head into Belak's chest and tries to wrestle him to the ice but Belak is able to get back on his feet and land one more uppercut before letting go of Gaustad just as the linesmen come in.

Comments: Andrew Peters takes a run at Ben Ondrus along the benches with Ondrus slashing Peters in the back of the leg as he skates away. Peters turns around and puts a glove in Ondrus' face while a linesman tries to separate the two. Luke Richardson comes over and grabs Peters, forcing everyone to join in. Peters throws a gloved punch at Ondrus while Domi skates over and pushes McKee to the ice. McKee returns to his feet and takes an uppercut from Domi before he drops his own gloves. Domi takes McKee to the ice and Peters tries to get over to Domi while being restrained by the linesmen, but is eventually led to the penalty box. Other Penalties: Domi received a game misconduct; Andrew Peters a double roughing; Ben Ondrus a slashing. Jay McKee did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Hilbert and Belak battle up against the boards just before Sidney Crosby gets ahold of the puck and feeds it to Colby Armstrong for a Penguins goal. Belak skates over and decks Hilbert, causing everyone to pile in with those two on the bottom. Tie Domi grabs Eric Cairns and drops his gloves while the two skate further down ice and talk for a little. The linesmen are able to separate the players and Cairns yells at Belak while he skates by. Other Penalties: Belak received an instigator and misconduct; Hilbert a roughing. Andy Hilbert did not receive a fighting major.
