| Oct 18, 2002 | 3pd 18:46 | Vincent Lecavalier | ATL | Dan Snyder |
| It took place after TB scored their 8th goal. They were both willing and just started throwing in the slot. Snyder was tied up early and Vinny began to connect with lots of rights. Snyder slowed him down for a moment, but Vinny again landed a few rights before they tired and the linesmen came in. Snyder may have gotten 2 weak shots in with no effect at all. For Vinny: 2 goals and a fight, including one beautiful diving one-hander on a breakaway. Other Penalties: Lecalvier received a slashing. | ||||

| Oct 21, 2002 | 2pd 15:17 | Chris Dingman | @NYR | Dale Purinton |
| The two come together in the Rangers zone, shortly after a Tampa goal. They tie up quickly, Dingman going for the complete hug right away. Purinton throws 2 big rights and one small one, all missing or just grazing Dingman who is in real tight. Dinger goes for the takedown and gets it. | ||||

| Oct 30, 2002 | 1pd 09:51 | Andre Roy | NYR | Sandy McCarthy |
| They drop the gloves really close to the boards and are in close. Roy seems angry and keeps throwing, even though every shot hits the back of McCarthy's helmet. Eventually McCarthy falls becasue he is against the boards and Roy is throwing them one after another. Other Penalties: Roy received a holding, instigator and misconduct. | ||||

| Oct 30, 2002 | 3pd 19:48 | Cory Sarich | NYR | Krzysztof Oliwa |
| Oliwa landed the only two effective punches of this otherwise dull bout, and ended up with the takedown. Other Penalties: Darius Kasparaitis and the Tampa bench received an unsportsmanlike conduct; Sheldon Keefe a slashing; Oliwa a roughing. | ||||

| Nov 21, 2002 | 1pd 04:50 | Chris Dingman | NYI | Eric Cairns |
| Cairns looking for something, bumps a Bolt. Dingman is on the ice and goes right after Cairns. They grapple for position and Cairns is controlling the fight and throwing the only real punches. Dingman tries to answer, but comes up short. Cairns then lands a nice right hand that makes Dingman go to a knee. Other Penalties: Cairns received an unsportsmanlike conduct. | ||||

| Nov 21, 2002 | 3pd 17:15 | Sheldon Keefe | NYI | Garth Snow |
| Keefe is in the crease, Snow makes a save a little out of the crease. A push by Roman Hamrlik and Keefe crosschecks Hamrlik in return. Snow doesn't like what he sees and goes after Keefe. Everyone comes rushing in, but with the crew out there, the most likely guy to go is still Snow. Snow can't get the blocker off right away, so he just starts chucking rights with it on, looking like he's landing most. Linesmen are trying to break it up, but for a bit, Snow can easily punch over him. Evgeny Konstantinov makes his way down the ice, but doesn't get involved. Other Penalties: Roman Hamrlik received a roughing; Evgeny Konstantinov a leaving the crease penalty; Keefe a double roughing; Snow an attempt to injure match penalty. Sheldon Keefe did not receive a fighting major. | ||||

| Nov 27, 2002 | 1pd 17:02 | Dan Boyle | @BUF | Adam Mair |
| Boyle gets knee to knee contact on Boulton. Cameras got there late, but Boyle was laying on the ice and Mair had the gloves off. According to the announcers, Boyle went down after one punch, he never dropped the gloves. Other Penalties: Boyle received a roughing; Mair a double slashing, instigator and misconduct. Dan Boyle did not receive a fighting major. | ||||

| Nov 27, 2002 | 1pd 17:02 | Stan Neckar | @BUF | Eric Boulton |
| During the Mair-Boyle "fight", Boulton, probably pissed because of the knee hit, is looking to fight someone, and the cameras go to him and Neckar grappling by the boards. Boulton looks to be picking his spots and throwing rights. Nothing really good landed though. Neckar tries to throw a few rights, but this is quite a mismatch. Other Penalties: Both players received game misconducts. | ||||

| Dec 07, 2002 | 2pd 14:46 | Andre Roy | @BOS | Sean O'Donnell |
| Starts in front of the B's net and it looks like O'Donnell initiates. Roy gets the right going, but seems to come up short on all four punches. O'Donnell has a nice opening and attempts two rights, but his arm is caught up in his jersey. He then turns and Roy throws about four more rights to the back of O'Donnell's helmet. | ||||

| Dec 14, 2002 | 1pd 02:24 | Chris Dingman | NYI | Eric Godard |
| Starts in center ice. Godard is looking for all opportunities. They shed the gloves and Dingman gets in a couple of quickies. Now Godard's turn, he unleashes some rights. They're grappling and each throwing a couple. Godard almost slips, regains his balance and throws a couple of more, connecting with them. More grappling and Dingman just wants it to end, hugging away. Dingman pulls Godard on top of him. | ||||

| Dec 23, 2002 | 3pd 05:13 | Andre Roy | @WAS | Jason Doig |
| Starts around the Lightning blueline when Roy asks Doig to go, and Doig accepts. Gloves come off and some grappling at first. Doig throws 2-3 rights, one of them looks to land clean. Then Roy throws some to the back of Doig's head and they both fall over. | ||||

| Dec 29, 2002 | 3pd 18:48 | Chris Dingman | NYR | Sandy McCarthy |
| In the middle of the third period, Dingman went after Barnaby, who had been yapping the entire game. Barnaby turtled and Dingman may have landed three, no more. Dingman got a double minor for roughing. Then, late in the game, Dingman gets out of the box, and when Holik is whistled down for cross-checking, Dingman hooks a passing McCarthy. McCarthy turns around Dingman drops them as the linesman intervenes. He turned to McCarthy who agreed to shed the gloves and the linesman promptly leaves. These guys have a brief square off then join together. An early left by Dingman comes up short and he gets really close in with Mac and holds on. Mac then lands two overhand lefts to the helmet and Dingman pushes him forward (looks like he was all ready for the takedown), but Sandy stays up and they jockey for position. Sandy looks to come up short with another left. Dingman is only interested in holding on in this fight. Sandy then drags out the right hand and shakes his elbow pad off and lands two noogie shots and gets the takedown. Other Penalties: Bobby Holik received an obstruction interference. | ||||

| Jan 04, 2003 | 3pd 12:02 | Chris Dingman | @STL | Reed Low |
| Most of this fight was grappling with a few short shots tried by both guys. In the middle of it Dingman throws a big right hand that seems to land, and then they tie up and grapple again with Low eventually getting the takedown in a long, but boring tilt. | ||||

| Jan 11, 2003 | 2pd 03:41 | Chris Dingman | NJD | Turner Stevenson |
| Stevenson landed a huge right, and Dingman came forward slightly and fell down. He was back up in a split second, but the linesmen jumped in. Dingman then put his hand on his nose, and looked at his fingers, as if he thought he might be bleeding. | ||||

| Jan 11, 2003 | 3pd 17:55 | Cory Sarich | NJD | Colin White |
| Sarich levels Pandolfo and White comes right over. Pretty blah fight, each landed a couple of punches, nothing of significance. However White was bleeding pretty good, might have been a helmet cut. Other Penalties: Sarich received an obstrcution interference; White an instigator and misconduct. | ||||

| Jan 28, 2003 | 2pd 02:09 | Chris Dingman | @PHI | Todd Fedoruk |
| Dingman held on, and Fedoruk landed two punches before Dingman fell down. One may of landed square on the chin, but it was really nothing. | ||||

| Feb 11, 2003 | 2pd 04:02 | Andre Roy | @NYI | Eric Godard |
| Nice long squareoff near the benches. They finally get a hold of each other and start throwing some good punches. Godard starts to land a few more and has Roy bent sideways and lands a couple. Roy answers and Godard throws a left and Roy answers with his own again as the linesmen come in. Good, very energetic fight. After the linesmen stepped in Roy throws a punch at Godard and then pushes away one of the linseman, he gets tossed. Other Penalties: Roy received a game misconduct. | ||||

| Feb 23, 2003 | 2pd 19:06 | John Grahame | BUF | Vaclav Varada |
| Varada bumps Grahame in the corner and gives him a shot to the face. Grahame goes after Varada. Varada drops the gloves and grabs him. Grahame, still with his mask on, drops his gloves and throws a right uppercut, and that draws everyone in, including Martin Biron, who goes the length of the ice. Everyone wrestles for a while, and it's broken up. Didn't really deserve majors. Other Penalties: Denis Hamel received a roughing; Martin Biron a goalie leaving the crease minor. | ||||

| Mar 07, 2003 | 2pd 10:53 | Ben Clymer | COL | Serge Aubin |
| Radio descrip: There was some shoving in the Bolts zone after a whistle, and then the fight started. The announcers said that Clymer got a few uppercuts in and then managed to rip Aubin's helmet (with visor) off. Aubin got some punches in, but it sounded like Clymer threw more, and was more aggressive. | ||||

| Mar 15, 2003 | 2pd 12:16 | Andre Roy | @MON | Michael Komisarek |

| Mar 17, 2003 | 2pd 05:18 | Ben Clymer | MIN | Willie Mitchell |
| Both shove behind net and throw glove punches. They both drop the gloves and grab on and hold on tight and Clymer throws little love-taps like a pat on the head by your dad when you were younger. Mitchell tried to throw, but nothing connects. | ||||

| Pellerin gets a penalty, and while the play is dead Buchy bumps into Roy. They both look at each other and drop their gloves. They grapple at first against the boards until Roy gets free. He throws several punches, a few looked to land cleanly. He gets Buchy off-balance, pinned against the boards. It looks like the fight is about over until Buchy regains his balance and spins around throwing a nice left that lands. Roy also threw a right and they fall off-balance. On the way down Buchy throws a wild left which didn't look like it landed. Other Penalties: Scott Pellerin received a tripping. | ||||

| Mar 27, 2003 | 2pd 16:48 | Andre Roy | NJD | Jim McKenzie |
| They drop the gloves and quickly grab on and throw some rights. Each man actually comes up short in his effort as the other guy is holding him at the elbows and neither has the reach (or loose jersey) advantage to get one through. They loosen up just a bit and get in a couple of shots, no one damaging or stinging the other one. They've been skating about during this moving from mid-ice towards the boards. They get towards a wall while grappling and Roy falls, McKenzie doesn't throw, linesmen come in. | ||||

| Mar 27, 2003 | 2pd 18:22 | Cory Sarich | NJD | Jay Pandolfo |
| They drop the gloves and each try and fire away. Pandolfo might have landed an initial shot, and then Sarich lands two rights while quickly gaining control. Pandolfo loses his balance and goes down (not really from a punch, but Sarich out-muscling him). | ||||
