Sep 27, 2002 1pd 07:45 Reed Low @CHI Louie Debrusk
They were in close jostling for position, then Low gets a right free and nails Louis on the side of the helmet twice, then gets his upper cheek pretty good as Louie's head kind of bobbed. Then Debrusk sneaks in a uppercut that does little to no damage. When the linesmen stepped in, they nodded at each other with a show of respect.

Sep 28, 2002 1pd 17:33 Steve McLaren MIN Sylvain Blouin
Not much happened in this one as they grappled in tight. Both tried to throw short shots, but had each other tied up well.

Oct 01, 2002 3pd 13:18 Tyson Nash @DET Maxim Kuznetsov
Nash drops 'em first and the wrestling begins. After a few seconds, the 6'5" Kuznetsov realizes that fights take place with your gloves OFF, so he drops 'em. They go along the boards with Nash landing a flurry of about 7 or 8 rights to the side of Kuznetsov's head. Some back of the helmet shots also landed for Nash. After that, its all grappling. Max just hugs and holds off Nash without even throwing a damn punch. It's over.

Oct 04, 2002 1pd 01:58 Steve McLaren CHI Ryan VandenBussche
McLaren and VandenBussche in an absolute punchout. First they have a long killer squareoff, then they come in tight and McLaren absolutly goes nuts on Vandy with 8 massive rights all to the face of Vandy which sends him crashing down to his knees. Vandy is bleeding, then he gets up and opens up and goes toe to toe with Steve and this time Vandy stuns McLaren with a huge left. They lock up and spin around a little then go toe to toe again! Vandy stunning McLaren with an even bigger, harder left. Steve then gets control and lands 2 huge haymakers on Vandy and down he goes with Steve one top.
