Comments: It starts right after the faceoff and they are both wrestling and trying to get themselves free from one another. Thornton throws maybe two or three rights and one lands in the face of Jakopin that sends him down on the ice with the help of a push.

Comments: Todd Harvey is looking for someone to fight right off the faceoff and Barnaby looks willing as he's yapping away. Well, turns out Barnaby wants no part of this one and he lets Harvey swing away with eight or nine punches that may of landed before the linesmen stepped in. Barnaby kept his gloves on during this whole time. Other Penalties: Harvey received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Matt Barnaby did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Right off a faceoff, Nolan and Ward are jousting at each other. After a few pokes, Owen drops em and so does Ward. It started off with both having a tight grip on each other's shirt, then Lance gets his right free and lands a solid shot to Owen's nose, which drops Nolan to one knee (the punch visibly stunned Nolan). Nolan recovers to his feet to where they struggle some more. Nolan tries to get a couple off, but Ward's strength was too much. Nolan then turns his head on Ward as it seems he's had enough. Lance takes advantage, as the linesmen weren't quick to jump in, and lands 2 more to the back of a helmetless Nolan. The refs then separate the two and Nolan clearly shows the damage to his nose with a cut and a red mark.

Comments: With the score out of hand, a line brawl (well, kinda) ensued after Ivan Majesky took a knee on knee shot. Some hugging and pairing off. Other Penalties: Olli Jokinen received an unsportsmanlike conduct; Todd Harvey a roughing and game misconduct.

Comments: It was all Marchment here as Brad just hung on for dear life. With some sort of pad that slid over his fist, Marchment pummled the Ference, one punch after another. Counted 7 or 8 landing for Marchment and nothing even really thrown by Ference. Brad's face was a mess, with his nose spewing blood he went to the lockerroom for medical attention. Other Penalties: Marchment received a roughing.

Comments: After the Pens score to make it 4-0, Bradley and LaCouture drop em right after the faceoff and have a decent sqaure off. Bradley leans in and LaCouture throws 3 lefts with the second appearing to land (high camera angle) and the 3rd brushing the side of Bradley's neck. Dan throws 2 more lefts that don't connect and Bradley throws 3 wild rights under LaCouture's arm. LaCouture throws 2 more lefts which miss, then Bradley throws another wild haymaker that catches nothing but air. They are tied up pretty good. Dan throws an uppercut (cant tell if it hit), then a left overtop that misses, then throws an off-balance Bradley down.

Comments: Bradley lands stuff to the shoulders. Hugging, and Jackman has it cocked. Nobody's throwing, they just look at each other, then Jackman starts to do his thing. Lands 3 or 4 shots to the face and the guy is clearley outmatched. Bradley tries to fire back, but nothing is landing. Other Penalties: Bryan Marchment received an attempt to injure match penalty; Pavol Demitra a roughing; Keith Tkachuk, Mark Smith, Bradley and Jackman misconducts.

Comments: They drop em, but Stuart doesen't look to eager to go. Nash starts throwing and gets bent over. When he comes back up BAM! Stuart sends him down. Other Penalties: Nash received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: They meet up in front of the net. Sutherby falls over and Fahey is on top. They get back up and grapple, they spent about 1 minute just grappling, Sutherby landed 1 or 2 during all the grapling. Then it ends when Fahey ducks his head and Sutherby unloads a few at the back of the head and the linesmen come in.

Comments: Fair start to the fight, they both agree and the gloves drop. Hannan missed with 2 or 3 good rights, then Petro popped him in the chin with a good shot. Thats the only one decent one to land. Hannan had the takedown.

Comments: Nolan's looking to spark something, and meets Bell by the bench and they drop em. They start to grapple. Nolan gets 2 to the back of Bell's head, then Nolan gets his arm stuck, but has Bell locked out. Bell then starts doing some damage. Bell gets the helmet off, then he gets off 3 or 4 good shots to Nolan's face, while the sweater of Nolan starts to come off.

Comments: They meet behind the net and say "ah, what the hell" and they drop em. Fairly quick scrap . Some wrestling in the beginning. Fayhe has his head down and Chimera connects with 2 or 3 noogies/punches. Fayhe throws 1 or 2 also.

Comments: They get together amongst a scrum and Thornton takes control. He pops Semenov once and then pops him again, and down he goes. Ricci and Smith were clutched together, but Ricci tried his best to not fight and they just let go of each other. Other Penalties: Jason Smith and Mike Ricci each received a roughing; Semenov a high sticking; Thornton an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Nolan lays a hit on Jackman, they start going down the ice jawing and slashing. They drop the gloves and Nolan grabs on and gets one shot on Jackman. Then Nolan loses his balance and falls. On the ice Jackman gets a clean punch on Nolan.

Comments: It happens quickly away from the play, sort of a mutual thing. The gloves come off fast and Marchment goes with the lefts, Stevenson with the rights. Both guys try with several of each and Stevenson goes down with Mush on top. Marchment looked to be doing better and he may have landed something, where as Turner didn't get anything in.

Comments: Lappy throws about 5 at Heins, a couple connect. They wrestle, then Heins throws a couple of left bombs, one of which dropped Lappy.

Comments: Norton tries to fire up his team with a fight with Shark Kyle Mclaren. It's at center ice and they grapple, Norton gets Mclaren's sweater over his head and throws three or four, but they all land on the shoulder pad. Norton lands one or two and then Mclaren starts to take Norton down and gets a good shot on Norton as he is going down. Other Penalties: Norton received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Short but decent scrap. Marshall wanted to get loose but was tied up early. Eventually both guys throw some wild haymakers. Each may have landed and Marshall looked to land a good shot before losing his balance and going down.

Comments: Shelley jumps Stuart and throws a few punches to the back of his head while everyone starts to get involved. Stuart had some words for Shelley in the media after about how it was cheap, but few forgot it was because of a vicious elbow to the face Stuart threw the last game these two played (Stuart was kicked out for it). Other Penalties: David Ling received a roughing and misconduct; Jonathan Cheechoo received a misconduct; Jean Labbe and Evgeni Nabakov each received a goalie leaving the crease minor; Stuart a high sticking; Shelley a roughing, instigator misconduct and game misconduct.

Comments: They were spinning around both throwing hands, looked like Bradley was in conrtol of the fight a little more because Montador's jersey wasn't tied down (was tossed for that). Bradley got a couple uppercuts in on him while Montador was swinging wildly, but also landing. Bradley then had the take down. Other Penalties: Montador received a game misconduct.

Comments: Marchment gives a Vancouver player a knee to knee and Langdon comes over and gets the gloves high, but the refs jump in before anything happened. About 6 seconds after that things settled down and Langdon and March dropped them and once again the refs jumped in, but Langdon was still throwing them between the two linesmen and so was Marchment. Maybe a couple connected from Langdon, but nothing more, the linesmen wouldn't let go of them. Other Penalties: Langdon received an instigator and miscondcut.

Comments: May challenges Harvey off the faceoff and they drop the gloves. A lot of holding and grappling at first. May gets free and tries throwing some quick punches. They get twisted around and May throws a left which hits the side of Harvey's helmet and then another left which looked to land and Harvey falls to the ice.

Comments: Camera gets there late. Apparently Strudwick just finished his forecheck along the far boards and Davison did not appreciate it too much. The camera returns to the action as Struddy is throwing his usual straight rights, hitting mostly helmet, and Davison is holding back not really throwing any counters. Davison then decides to join the fight and throws a wild one, not hitting, but got Strudwick off the offensive. At this point Strudwick regains himself and is now jockeying for position and decides to rip off the Davison’s helmet and as he was doing so, loses balance and Davidson falls on top.
