Oct 24, 2003 2pd 00:14 Dan Focht NJD Michael Rupp
Comments: After a lackluster first period, Focht tries to wake the Pens up by goading Rupp into a fight. Focht grabbed Rupp's stick as he skated away making it clear what he wanted to do. They drop em and squareoff. While skating Rupp suprises Focht with a left to the throat as he skates backwards. They both have the jerseys with their lefts. Rupp has his right cocked wide and awkardly. Rupp, unaware of were he is, slams backward into the boards as they both miss with rights. Rupp, with his head down, throws a blind right into Focht's neck. Focht apears to land a decent uppercut on Rupp, snapping his head and bringing him upright, then Rupp misses a ducking Focht. Focht throws five weak uppercuts into Rupp's armpit while Rupp misses two more overhand rights. They twirl, Rupp again has his right cocked way behind his back, and Focht throws another weak uppercut while Rupp jersey-jabs him with his left. Focht does likewise, pushing Rupp's face with his left four times. Rupp finally throws an overhand right looking to connect on Focht's temple, and as Focht throws a right that misses, Rupp lands an off-balance, but head-snapping right to Focht's jaw. Rupp's completely off-balance and is hunched over facing away from Focht now who just pushes him down to the ice.
Voted winner: Michael Rupp (42.1%) - Voted rating: 4.6

Oct 25, 2003 2pd 06:16 Steve McKenna @NYI Eric Cairns
Comments: Cairns has words with Lemieux and McKenna comes over. They meet behind the net, along boards and are immediately tied up. Cairns has Mckenna in a headlock and is talking to the linesmen the whole time. Could be about the visor McKenna currently is sporting. They finally start swinging, McKenna a right and Cairns a left or two. Cairns goes to the right and now both guys are throwing right hands with some intent. They both land a couple of rights, and McKenna gets Cairns' jersey up. Linesmen come right in. McKenna did receive the unsportsmanlike conduct for instigating with a visor. Other Penalties: McKenna received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct.

Comments: They come out of a scrum, drop the gloves and Wiemer throws a quick right. Bradley then throws right after right, but it didn't look like any of them were landing. However, the non-stop punching didn't let Wiemer get anything in. After Wiemer can finally get his arm free and ready to swing, they each exchange a couple of rights before Bradley loses his balance and falls.

Sven finally hit him with a good one and he burried his head in Sven's sweater. Sven goes down and Malone starts chucking the right like crazy as the linesmen come in. Nov 04, 2003 3pd 02:12 Ramzi Abid @TOR Bryan Marchment
Comments: Earlier Marchment elbowed Abid after the whistle. In the third Abid follows Marchment behind the net and shoves him. When the camera gets back there Abid misses two rights, then ducks under a Marchment right. An off-balance Abid takes a right to his ear and falls. Marchment landing one on the back of Abid's helmet as he's down. As Abid tries to get up Marchment throws an uppercut. Abid now has his jersey over his face. He's pretty much blind and can't really throw, but still avoids a Marchment left. They're up against the Leafs' bench. Mush throws a body shot, then an uppercut. Abid's just holding on waiting for the refs. Marchment tries another uppercut, then the linesmen come in and Marchment throws three more rights, none landing or doing anything. Comments: Right after the NYR score a fourth goal to salt away the game with a couple minutes to go, Richard and Kelly decide to drop them after they meet up in the corner. Good squareoff and they come together. Buchberger just misses with a bomb of a right that would been a killer if it landed. They grapple some, and Scott gets loose. But he doesn't land anything as his feet go right out from under him. As the linesmen jump in, Buch throws a couple as he's on top of Scott, no big deal. But then Kelly puts his forearm on top of Scott's throat and tries to land some more short lefts with the stripes all over them. They are finally separated. Scott's falling stopped this one before it could get good.

Feb 29, 2004 2pd 13:58 Matt Bradley @NYI Sven Butenschon
Comments: It happens behind the play and when the camera gets there Bradley is throwing a couple of rights that don't appear to do much damage. Sven has his right arm all tied up in his jersey the entire fight and he is unable to throw a punch as Bradley has a hold of his left arm with his left. Bradley throws a couple of more rights, a little wildly, that just graze Sven and then they go down with Bradley on top.

Comments: Belak puts Buchberger into the Pens' bench and Buchy drops to the ice in pain. Focht and Belak are throwing down when the camera goes off of Buchy. Belak from looks to graze a couple of rights on Focht while Focht throws a few uppercuts. They both miss uppercuts in front of the Leafs' bench. Belak comes up short with a right as they twirl. Belak rings a right off of Focht's helmet, then grazes another off the spinning and ducking Focht's shoulder. Focht then loses his balance and goes down. He jumps back up and Belak grabs a hold of his jersey and hits him with an uppercut and Focht goes back to his knees. He gets back up with a bare back and tries to go back at Belak, but the linesmen have both men under control. Other Penalties: Belak received a charging; Focht an instigator and misconduct.

Mar 26, 2004 1pd 17:58 Matt Bradley @BUF Adam Mair
Comments: These guys drop the gloves in the neutral zone and start to swing away. Mair with lefts, Bradley with rights. Mair lands a few lefts, including a really solid shot and Bradley lands a few big rights. They fall and get back up, and it looks like Mair starts to take over at the end and lands a big left that pops Bradley's helmet off and bends him over. Bradley straightens up and throws a wild right, but Mair ducks it. This sends Bradley off-balance and he goes down.

Malone comes up and throws his gloves off and ends up ducked down as Majesky holds him down. Malone tries a left around the bearhug, but it hits Majesky on his name.
