Comments: Orr levels a Ranger in the corner and Strudwick skates over and gets the jump on him in the fight. They both throw a few rights with Strudwick's glancing Orr's face and Orr's coming up short. They both switch hands and Strudwick lands a few decent shots with his left. At this point the two hold each other off at arm's length with Strudwick sneaking in a left. As they come together, Orr throws a left that is blocked, but sneaks in a right. The linesmen then come in to end the fight. Other Penalties: Strudwick received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: After Lundqvist covers the puck, a scrum breaks out and Oliwa and Murray come out of it and start throwing in the corner. Oliwa throws a couple of rights, neither really landing, before Murray is ready. Murray throws a right that misses and Oliwa comes back with two more rights, one that may have landed. They go to the ice with Oliwa ending up on the bottom and Murray tries to land one more, but misses. Other Penalties: Jamie Langenbrunner received a roughing.

Comments: Jagr is hooking Janssen near the boards and Hollweg comes in and lays out a big hit on Janssen, sending him to the ice. Janssen gets up, shakes his gloves and Hollweg obliges. They square off for a few moments and then Janssen grabs Hollweg's jersey with his left and throws a right that Hollweg's able to duck under. Janssen then throws an uppercut that lands and a couple of more shots that might connect while Hollweg sneaks in a quick left. Janssen then goes to town, throwing big rights over and under, with many connecting. Janssen's able to get Hollweg's jersey up over his head and Janssen lands a few more before the linesmen come in to break it up. Other Penalties: Jaromir Jagr received a hooking.
