Comments: Olaf Kolzig takes some swipes at a Thrasher and all the players come together and these two get it going. Eminger was landing at will at the beginning, then Petro responded with a beauty that sent Eminger to a knee. While on the knee Petro threw a right that connected flush. They get back up and as the linesman try to break it up Petro fires another to show he is not done. Other Penalties: Olaf Kolzig, Nolan Yonkman and Eric Boulton each received a roughing.

Comments: In a blowout game, Boulton catched Lindros with a big hit and Domi skates in and throws a gloved punch at Boulton to protect his concussion-prone linemate. Exelby grabs Domi from behind allowing Boulton to unloads five heavy rights on Domi who can't defend himself. At this point, all the players pile in and the linesmen break this up. Lindros ends up on top of Exelby, but when they get up, they break away from the main scrum. Exelby wants to swing, but Lindros holds on and doesn't look interested. Exelby may have connected with some soft punches, but held up since Lindros was trying to talk him out of it. Meanwhile, Boulton gets ejected for pushing a linesman who is trying to separate him from the crowd. Wade Belak manages to get a few shots in at Boulton when he's down, after which Belak challenges the Thrashers bench. Other Penalties: Domi received an instigator and misconduct; Boulton an elbowing and game misconduct; Ron Petrovicky a double roughing; Wade Belak a roughing and misconduct.

Comments: Moments after the first brawl of the game, Sutton charges Tucker into the boards, cutting him open by forcing his head into the divider. Jason Allison goes after Sutton, but de Vries cuts him off. Everyone grabs a dancing partner, but only Allison and de Vries start to throw punches. de Vries catches Allison with a hard right and proceeds to pound on him. After a brief pause, de Vries starts landing at will on Allison and then wrestles him down. Other Penalties: Andy Sutton received a match penalty for attempt to injure.

Comments: Sutton throws a clean check on Talbot, skates up ice and VandenBussche checks Sutton into the boards and they drop em. Sutton's stick is between them during the short fight and Vandy's trying to deal with Sutton and the stick. Sutton goes for VandenBussche's helmet, pulling him downward, and throws an uppercut that might have landed, then just misses a wild right across Vandy's bow.Vandy throws an off-balance left that Sutton ducks, then falls, pulling VandenBussche on top of him. Other Penalties: VandenBussche received an interference.

Comments: Jeff Halpern throws a big hit on Kozlov. Ilya Kovalchuk comes over and gives Halpern a shove and knocks him to the ice. Everyone comes together, sticks up, and a scrum ensues. Halpern skates after Kovalchuk, who skates backwards until a linesman gets in between. Clark has a hold of Kozlov, and has him bent over. Clark throws a punch or two and Kozlov turtles. Clark holds up and a ref comes over to ensure the break up. Clark skates away with a nick on his nose, from a high stick earlier. Other Penalties: Jeff Halpern received a roughing; Ilya Kovalchuk a roughing and high sticking.

Comments: The puck is up in the air and Boulerice is ready to play it when it hits the ice. He's nailed by Scott Mellanby and Boulerice goes right after Mellanby when he gets up, throwing a gloved right and a couple of more punches before Mellanby turtles and the linesmen start to come after Boulerice. Boulton skates over, drops his gloves, and challenges Boulerice and Jesse gladly obliges. They tie up and Boulton throws three rights to the back of Boulerice's head and Boulerice returns fire with an uppercut. Boulerice loses his grip and tries to grab on to Boulton's jersey. Boulton starts throwing rights as Boulerice grabs on. Boulton throws another right as Boulerice gets his left hand in Boulton's face and throws a short right. Boulton throws a huge uppercut that misses and causes him to lose his balance and go down to a knee. Boulton gets back up and throws three more rights as Boulerice comes back with a couple of rights and an uppercut as he shakes off his elbow pad. Boulton switches hands and throws a left before he throws Boulerice down to the ice and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Boulerice received an unsportsmanlike conduct; Scott Mellanby a charging.

Comments: The two drop the gloves near the benches and square off. Boulton grabs on and misses with a short left as Belak returns fire with about 6-7 rights of his own, most of them hitting the back of Boulton's helmet as he is ducking away. Boulton throws a right of his own during the flurry. They tie up and struggle to get loose and keep their balance. Boulton throws a right as Belak comes back with 4-5 of his own. Boulton shakes off his elbow pad and throws a couple of short rights. They spin around as Belak throws a couple of rights. Boulton comes back with a locked out right of his own. They tie up again as Boulton gets his arm loose and lands about 9-10 rights to the back of Belak's head, a mix of long and short punches that knock Belak's helmet off in the process. Boulton throws a couple of more short rights over the top as Belak throws a right that causes both players to lose their balance and fall half way to the ice for a moment. They get up and Boulton throws two rights to the back of Belak's head before the linesmen intervene.

Comments: Serge Aubin scores for Atlanta and Rupp and Hnidy start pushing and shoving shortly after. They decide to drop the gloves as they get in tight and wrestle around. Hnidy throws a short right as Rupp come back with 2-3 rights of his own. Hnidy throws a couple of weak rights before both fighters lose their balance and fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Jody Shelley received a misconduct.

Comments: They start shoving after Brian Savage scores a goal and they drop the gloves near the blueline. Richards throws two rights as Exelby tries to duck under the punches and take Richards' helmet off. Exelby tries to grab Richards' helmet before Richards takes it off himself because he is wearing a visor. Richards throws a jersey-jab as Exelby misses with a couple of locked-out rights. Richards throws two more rights with Exelby returning fire with a right of his own. Richards then misses with a long left as Exelby throws a left while Richards' head is down. Exelby switches hands and throws a few rights before Richards throws two rights of his own. Richards loses his balance and falls to the ice before Exelby throws 3-4 punches while Richards is on his knees.

Comments: Stewart nails Matt Cullen with a big hit at center ice, causing Stewart to skate very slowly back to the bench. LaRose goes directly after Stewart, dropping his gloves and grabbing him from behind before Stewart is even able to react. LaRose turns him around as Stewart drops his mitts and throws two rights before switching hands throwing a left. LaRose locks Stewart up as the two wrestle around in tight. They hold on until the linesmen come in and seperate the two. Stewart skates away with blood flowing down his face and goes back to the dressing room for repairs. Other Penalties: LaRose received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Hossa and Tverdovsky are pushing and shoving in front of Cam Ward. Tverdovsky's down on a knee and Hossa gives him a cross check. Tverdovsky gets back on his feet and the sticks come up as a crowd gathers. The gloves are shed while grappling and Tverdovsky throws a shot at Hossa who grabs him and starts landing rights, one under and about four over. Tverdovsky turns to attempt to avoid the shots and falls to the ice with Hossa on top. The linesmen are waiting to break it up. The rest of the scrum from before broke up except for Andy Sutton who still has ahold of Erik Cole. Sutton's got his right cocked, but the refs come in while Sutton and Cole continue to chat. Other Penalties: Hossa received a cross checking and roughing; Andy Sutton a roughing and misconduct.

Comments: Right off the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off, each signaling the other to come closer. They size each other up and try multiple times to grab on as Peters signals for the linesmen to stay away. They finally grab ahold of each other as Boulton throws two rights to the back of Peters' helmet. Peter throws an overhand right and a short jersey-jab as Boulton lands a body shot. Peters then throws two rights as Boulton tries to shake off his elbow pad. They spin around as Peter throws a right that knocks both players off-balance and to the ice. Boulton gets in a right while they are down.

Comments: The two start yapping right before the puck drops, deciding to drop the gloves right after the faceoff. They square off before Campbell grabs on as Petrovicky throws a few jersey-jabs. Petrovicky then throws two rights, with one connecting. Campbell comes back with a right to the side of Petrovicky's helmet before landing an uppercut. Petrovicky throws five straight rights to the back of Campbell's head, knocking his helmet off. Petrovicky then loses his balance and falls to the ice as Campbell lands a right while Petrovicky is trying to return to his feet. They fall to the ice as Petrovicky throws two quick rights while they are down.

Kilger goes after Exelby, but de Vries steps in and they drop the gloves and grab on. Kilger throws about five rights with a few landing as de Vries struggles to get an arm free. de Vries then lands a right cross and Kilger connects with a right that knocks de Vries' helmet off while he is bent over. Kilger removes his own helmet and proceeds to throw two rights that miss as de Vries returns fire with a right. de Vries lands another right and Kilger loses his balance and goes down to a knee before both guys fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Kilger received an instigator and misconduct.

Grebeshkov goes sliding into the boards and Godard goes right after Boulton. Boulton's ready for him, drops the gloves immediately, and the two tie up. Boulton gets in two rights while Godard is attempting to get his right arm free. They're tugging at each other, Godard still trying to get loose, and Boulton gets in a couple of uppercut-like rights. Godard then responds with a few rights of his own. Godard comes up short with a straight right and Boulton follows-up with two good, long, right uppercuts. Godard throws an overhand right and Boulton responds with another uppercut. The two exchange a few more right hands: Godard sticking up top, possibly landing, and Boulton effectively mixing it up, going under and over with his punches. The two are then tired out and wait for the linesmen to come in. Other Penalties: Godard received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Dingman breaks into the Thrashers' zone and Greg de Vries almost catches up to him and helps him crash into the Thrashers' net, taking out Kari Lehtonen in the process. The puck crosses the line as Dingman does, but the goal is waved off. When Dingman gets up to protest Larsen grabs him and starts shoving. A gloved punch or two is tossed from each as a scrum ensues. They're in real close and Dingman throws a short shot with each hand before the two fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Garnet Exelby and Evgeny Artyukhin each received a roughing.
