Comments: When the camera gets there the gloves are off and they each have a hold of the other with the left hand. They each throw nine or ten wild rights while they're in a slow spin-cycle and it doesn't look like many land. Pushor then switches to the left and lands two punches to McKay's jaw. He tries a third one, it doesn't connect, but Pushor gets McKay's helmet off. They're in-close now and McKay tries a weak right hook, but he gets Pushor's helmet off after the punch. They start to grapple and McKay is trying to push Pushor away and get some separation, but he pushes Pushor off-balance and Pushor drags McKay to the ice with him, and the linesmen come in.

Comments: They have words and drop the gloves. It starts off toe to toe. Both Ward and Smith throw seven or eight rights. None of the punches seem to do any damage, if they landed. One of Smith's punches knocks Ward's helmet off. After the exchange they grapple for position and Smith wrestles Ward to the ice and the fight is over.

Comments: When they throw the gloves off one of the linesmen gets between them to tries and break it up, but he finally gets out of the way and lets them go. Peluso starts off with two lefts that Primeau ducks under. Primeau answers with two rights of his own that Peluso now ducks under. Peluso returns with the left as Primeau continues with the right. Peluso misses with the first left, but drops Primeau to his knees with the second and Peluso lays on top of Primeau to stop the fight. Other Penalties: Primeau received a charging; Peluso a roughing; Randy McKay a high sticking.

Comments: These two hook and shove each other off the faceoff, and finally drop the gloves. They start off in-close, with McKay's right free. He throws two overhand rights. The first one hitting Grimson on the chin, the second missing, and follows it with a right uppercut that misses. Grimson finally gets free and throws three rights, one landing. Grimson then struggles to get his arm out of his jersey, finally does, and throws five rights, most missing. McKay answers with five of his own, some landing. They hold each other off for a while, then Grimson gets the right free and lands a big right on McKay's face, dropping him to his knees. McKay gets back up, only to be hit several times on the helmet. Grimson skates and wrestles McKay up against the glass. They're holding each other off, then Grimson throws three final rights, one of the first two landing and the last one a uppercut that also looks to land. The linesman step in to save McKay.

Comments: Langkow and Thomas come together against the boards and drop the gloves. Langkow gets things going with four rights, but none land. Langkow then switches hands and hits Thomas' helmet a couple of times before Thomas answers with a left hook that grazes Langkow's helmet/forehead. After the Thomas punch, they're in-close and Langkow gets Thomas' helmet off and tries a left. Langkow then switches to the right and lands a nice punch to Thomas' face, and makes Thomas duck his head for a second. Langkow tries a few more rights, but none land. Thomas gets his head up and they get in-close again. They each exchange a couple of lefts, but none land. Thomas then switches to the right and Langkow stays with the left and they start throwing again. Thomas gets the better of this exchange as he lands three rights to Langkow's face, while Langkow's lefts are hitting Thomas' shoulder. They start to wrestle for position, Langkow tries a nothing left and the linesmen step in.

Odelein controls the majority of the fight, but Barnaby manages to slip most if not all of Odelein's punches. Eventually they both tire and the linesmen come in. Odelein has some words for the Sabres' bench afterwards.

Comments: They start off trading rights and are wildly spinning around. At first it's about 4-5 shots from Webb hitting Simpson's back. Simpson sneaks in one solid punch and then they slow down and start landing 2-3 solid shots a piece. They stop spinning and Webb lands a couple to Simpson's shoulder as Simpson lands a decent shot and then a shoulder-shot of his own. Simpson then lands a big overhand right making Webb fall backwards. Simpson lands one more as Webb's falling and then lands on top of him as the linesmen rush in.

They go toe-to-toe for a few seconds with each guy landing three punches. Thomas lands a good one that hurt Tucker a bit and makes him back off a bit. They grapple. Thomas throws a few, with one possibly glancing. Tucker then gets one in that knocks Stumpy's helmet off. Thomas lands a nice right in-close and Tucker throws three wild punches, with the last one forcing himself off-balance and Thomas spins him to the ice. The linemen come in and break them up.
