They drop the gloves near center ice and square off. Orr leads with a couple of rights, which come up short. Cairns retaliates with about eleven rights, with probably half landing, some good ones too, one knocking the helmet off of Orr. During the barrage Orr looks to have his right caught up in his jersey, but finally manages to get in tight and gets a better position on Cairns and starts landing some rights. He lands a few good ones, but then Cairns unleashes some more rights with one landing square to Orr's chin which almost put him down. Orr comes back and lands three or four rights, but they're both exhausted at this point and the linesmen come in.

Leahy throws a big hit on Hagman along the boards and Gratton goes straight for him. Gratton is hooking Leahy as they skate in the Panthers zone until Leahy turns around and they finally drop the gloves. They're tied up, but Gratton is throwing over the top, hitting Leahy's helmet. Gratton switches to the lefts and throws two short uppercuts that miss. At this point, Leahy is just hanging on while Gratton switches back to the right and lands an uppercut that sends Leahy to the ice. Other Penalties: Gratton received a hooking.

This one starts by center ice. Both guys drop the mits and square off. After a nice square off McGrattan grabs on with his left. McGrattan gets things started with a nice left jersey-jab. He tries to follow that up with a right hand, but misses over the top. Cairns answers that with a nice right hand to the side of the face. Cairns then throws another right hand that hits the top of McGrattan's helmet. McGrattan throws a left hand that may have landed. Cairns throws a right that comes up short. McGrattan follows with a right, but Cairns ducks it and throws a right that looks to catch the helmet. McGrattan then throws a right which misses over the top. McGrattan gets in 2-3 jersey-jabs and then is hit with a left jersey-jab by Cairns which knocks his helmet off. Cairns throws three more left jersey-jabs and then McGrattan attemps a right hand, but it is blocked by Cairns' left arm. Cairns attempts a big left, but misses and McGrattan quickly answers with a right, but also misses. Cairns then throws another right which lands nicely. McGrattan then gets in a nice jersey-jab which puts Cairns off-balance. With Cairns off-balance McGrattan throws a right hand, but it doesn't look to land as Cairns falls to the ice.

Cairns gives Godard a shove as Godard is skating back up ice. They talk for a little bit and decide to drop the gloves and square off. They grab on as Cairns lands two jersey-jabs before Godard misses with a flurry of locked out rights. Godard then lands a number of jersey-jabs of his own on Cairns. They exchange right hands before Cairns throws about 8-9 rights with Godard returning fire in the form of two left hooks as Cairns is still throwing. They exchange more punches before Godard lands an overhand right that causes Cairns to stop throwing. They pause for a moment and begin throwing again, Godard with uppercuts and rights; Cairns with rights and jersey-jabs. They exchange punches before tiring out and ending the fight themselves as the linesmen come in as escorts.

They start talking while skating back from the New Jersey net and drop the gloves at the blueline. Marshall throws a quick right before they grab on. Marshall throws a right as Payer comes back with a couple of rights of his own. Payer then misses with a right allowing Marshall to switch hands and throw a flurry of lefts before they start exchanging punches: Marshall with lefts, Payer with rights. Marshall was able to get Payer's head down and started throwing numerous uppercuts. Payer returned fire with a left before the two wrestle each other to the ice and let the linesmen come in.

Bouwmeester checks Talbot hard into the glass as Talbot gives Bouwmeester a few slashes as he skates away. Bouwmeester then gives Talbot a little slash of his own. Talbot skates back as they start pushing and shoving before they drop the gloves. Bouwmeester throws a couple of rights to start things off. They tie up before Bouwmeester throws a couple of uppercuts. Talbot throws a couple of rights as Bouwmeester rips off Talbot's helmet. They exchange rights for a short moment before Talbot misses with an uppercut. Bouwmeester connects with a long right as Talbot returns fire with a right of his own. They struggle to get loose and Bouwmeester throws a right as Talbot comes back with two rights before Bouwmeester throws him to the ice.

Montador checks Guerin against the boards after Guerin keeps the puck deep in Florida's zone. Guerin turns around and they drop the gloves and grab on. They get in tight and have a good grip on each other. Both attempt to throw a punch or two, but the punches aren't going far. Guerin manages to get a couple of short punches in. Montador tries to throw a punch that winds up on Guerin's back, so Montador takes off Guerin's helmet while he's got his hand there. They trade some a few quick shots that don't seem to have much power, and then Guerin throws a big left hand that Montador ducks under. They're still in tight and they hold on until the linesmen come in.

Both get free and start exchanging right hands; Bradley throwing and landing more punches early with Gratton coming back with a flurry of his own late. Gratton then lands a right that knocks Bradley to the ice. Gratton throws a short right as the linesmen dive in to stop the fight.

Bradley ducks down, switches hands, and throws a left. They wrestle around before Bradley throws a short right while Gratton tries to get his right hand free. They each throw a couple of locked-out rights before the linesmen come in and end the scrap.

They square off for a short while before they grab on with Montador throwing two quick lefts. They wrestle around in tight until both get loose as they exchange rights to the side of each other's head. Montador then gets Janssen turned around and bent over as he lands 5-6 rights to the back of Janssen's head. Janssen then does the same to Montador, but is unable to get any punches off. Montador turns back around and lands three right crosses before switching hands and throwing two lefts. Janssen is able to land a right of his own while Montador is throwing. Janssen misses with an uppercut as the two exchange right hands while spinning. Janssen then throws a couple of more rights that knock both players off-balance and to the ice.

Montador then loses his balance and falls to the ice as Bradley gets in two rights while he is down.

Petrovicky then throws two rights, with one connecting. Campbell comes back with a right to the side of Petrovicky's helmet before landing an uppercut. Petrovicky throws five straight rights to the back of Campbell's head, knocking his helmet off. Petrovicky then loses his balance and falls to the ice as Campbell lands a right while Petrovicky is trying to return to his feet. They fall to the ice as Petrovicky throws two quick rights while they are down.

Gratton switches hands and throws a left jab before pulling Artyukhin's jersey up and over his head. Gratton then throws three rights and tries to shake his elbow pad off before the linesmen jump in. Gratton skates away with a cut under his left eye.

Adams follows suit, and Horton starts off by landing a right to the side of the head, and then throws another. Adams gets his own right in, and then Horton continues by throwing another right. Horton throws a couple of more while Adams switches to his left in and awkwardly throws a couple that don't land. Adams' last miss causes him to slip to a knee. Horton takes Adams' helmet off and hits him with it while they both fall. Adams gets up to a knee and gets a right in while the linesmen break it up. Other Penalties: Horton received an instigator and misconduct.
