Comments: They drop the gloves at the blue line. McLaren removes his helmet during the square off. McLaren makes the first move and grabs on first. He throws two lefts. The first is a solid shot, the second one comes up short as Grier tries to answer with a left that doesn't land. McLaren throws another left that lands well. Grier tries to answer with a left, but it hits McLaren's left shoulder. McLaren starts pushing Grier towards the B's bench and tries another left that grazes Grier's helmet. They tie up in front of the B's bench and the linesmen come in and stop the fight. Grier has blood coming from multiple cuts.

Comments: After some heavy hitting Marchment flies in and drops the gloves with Domi. They are tied up pretty well with Domi throwing a few rabbit punches. Finally Marchment gets free, throwing a few wild lefts. They have each other by one hand now and Domi starts throwing a few of his great roundhouse lefts, with two landing hard. The last one separates the two and the linesmen come in, but Marchment maneuvers himself around them for round II. When he reaches Domi, Marchment lands a great right and Domi responds with a good left. Again swinging around, Marchment is able to land a few more rights and Domi does the same with the lefts. Now they are tired and are too gassed to proceed any longer in a exciting scrap. Other Penalties: Marchment received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: After fair square off at center ice, Buchberger lunges in and throws a couple of rights that don't connect. There's a short pause before they start exchanging around seven rights a piece, but not many of the punches land. They grapple a bit after the exchange of rights, and Buchberger switches to the left and throws four lefts, but none of them land. Probert stays with the right and answers back. His first two rights don't land, but the third connects solid and stuns Buchberger. Buchberger ducks his head and Probert throws four uppercuts with one landing well. Probert lets up after the fourth uppercut, and when he does Buchberger tries a haymaker right, but it doesn't come close to landing. Probert starts with the uppercuts again and drives Buchberger down to his knees. The linesmen finally come in and its over.
