Short, but good scrap here. Each throwing rapid lefts, with Green's connecting better. Each threw about four. Green switches to the right and landed a couple of solid ones, and then they go to the ice. Lynch comes up bleeding over the right eye. Other Penalties: Jan Horacek received a hooking.

They squareoff, Oliwa lands a couple of initial right hands. Thompson gets the left loose and throws 5-6 punches, a couple good ones land say the announcers. They then hit the ice.

Clark got the stick up on Chimera, and a scrum ensues. These two drop the gloves and go at it, but at the same time another fight breaks out that grabs the announcers' attention. Other Penalties: Clark received a high sticking.

Sounded like all Henley in this one. Commodore was just hanging on as Henley banged a few right hands. Commodore threw a left and the fight's over. Other Penalties: Both players receieved game misconducts.

They drop the gloves in the neutral zone, and Kavanagh is in a defensive position immediately. Staios hits him with three rights, and Kavanagh hits the ice. Kavanagh is trying to cover up as Staios is still throwing rights at him. Quick fight. Other Penalties: Staios received a cross checking.

Radio: Allen didn't look like he was too eager to engage Laraque in a fight from the start, as he was ducking his head. Laraque lets loose with 5-6 lefts to the side of Allen's head and the linesmen come in to end it.

Torres nails a Flame in the corner. As soon as Torres gets up, he's immediately cross-checked and halfway jumped by Ference. Ference gets him off-balance right from the start and nails Torres with about three good rights. Torres is trying to swing back, possibly landing a couple of weak punches. Torres is still off-balance and falls down, then is allowed to get up and they begin exchanging right hands. It appeared that they both landed some pretty serious punches, but Ference seemed to get the better of the exchange. Torres had brutal balance throughout the fight. Other Penalties: Torres received a double elbowing; Ference an instigator and misconduct.
