Oct 11, 2002 2pd 18:58 Bill Guerin ANA Kevin Sawyer
They give Guerin a goal on a shot that looks like it went through the net. On the ensuing faceoff, Sawyer and Guerin drop gloves. Guerin gets in a short punch, Sawyer tries an overhand right and misses. They fall to the ice, start to get up and then the linesmen jump in. Gordie Howe hat trick for Guerin.

Oct 11, 2002 3pd 18:33 Aaron Downey ANA Kevin Sawyer
After Dallas scores to make it 4-1, Sawyer and Downey square off after the face off and square off some more. Finally after Sawyer waves his hands saying "are we going to go or what", Downey comes in off-balanced. Sawyer throws two almost slap-punches, neither hitting, as Downey falls to the ice and pulls Sawyer down with him. Refs come in as Downey's hunched over Sawyer, and they're both trying to punch, but aren't coming close.

Oct 24, 2002 1pd 11:10 Bill Guerin @CAL Jarome Iginla
Guerin hits Marc Savard with an elbow. Iginla hooks Guerin and follows him up ice, Guerin sidesteps a willing Boughner to get to a willing Iginla they drop at center and both throw the helmets off. Both got a good hold of the other's jersey. Iginla comes up short with a right, Guerin misses with a right and then ducks to avoid a right. Guerin seems to land a right on Iginla's neck/shoulder. They both throw rights with Iginla's landing on top of Guerin's head and Billy's connecting on Iginlas face. Both throw rights again, neither hitting flush. Guerin is throwing blind with his head down, landing on Iginla's neck and Iginla's hittin Billy on top of the head. Iginla misses a right, then apears to hit a ducking Guerin with a nice left. Guerin looks like he's going down, but regains balance as Iginla lands a body back shot. Iginla throws a couple of lefts that don't connect because Guerin is in tight and hunched over to Iginla's waist. Finally Guerin is standing again and Iginla hits him in the temple with a left, then another. Iginla tries two right uppercuts, can't see Guerins face to see if they hit. Iginla then starts kidney punching a hunched over Guerin 3 times, the last one seems to take the fight out of Billy as he goes down to his knees.
Voted winner: Jarome Iginla (100.0%) - Voted rating: 8.2

Nov 03, 2002 3pd 02:52 Rob DiMaio @DET Sean Avery
After a save by Cujo, DiMaio and Avery exchange hellos and decide to drop the gloves. Because the camera always turns away when players are pushing, we didn't get to see the beginning of the fight. When the camera gets back on the action, DiMaio and Avery are trading lefts. It looked like DiMaio got the better of him landing a couple of nice lefts, but Avery did land a couple flush to DiMaio's face. According to the Stars announcers, Avery won the beginning of the fight and DiMaio the second half.
Voted winner: Rob DiMaio (88.9%) - Voted rating: 6.2

Nov 13, 2002 3pd 02:30 Rob DiMaio @WAS Rick Berry
Malhotra gets dragged down in front of the net and a penalty gets called. DiMaio and Berry are pushing in the corner and the gloves come off. Berry starts by getting DiMaio locked. Berry throws a couple that look like they might've landed and DiMaio catches air on his punches. It looks like Berry tries to bring in DiMaio, but unlocked his left arm to throw a couple more. This was a mistake. DiMaio gets in close and is hunched over. For a moment it seemed as though he was going down to the ice, but DiMaio decided to throw a couple of uppercuts. Couldn't tell if they landed until the replay. One catches Berry flush on the face and Berry goes down. Other Penalties: Steve Eminger received a roughing.

Nov 13, 2002 3pd 18:04 Manny Malhotra @WAS Brian Sutherby
Off the draw, they both get rid of their gloves and Malhotra is backing away. They come together and Sutherby has his right free. Malhotra sees it coming and puts his head down. It looked like the first punch missed, and the next two by Sutherby landed on the top of Manny's helmet. Malhotra throws a right that glances the top of Sutherby's helmet... it looked like his forearm hit Sutherby. After the Malhotra punch, they both start to go down and Sotherby tries another right on the way down. Both of them are on the ice with Sutherby on top, as they try to get up the linesmen step in. Right after that Malhotra throws a couple of rights.

Nov 25, 2002 1pd 04:27 Manny Malhotra PHO Todd Simpson
Simpson was itching to go with somebody. Malhotra gave him a stiff check by the benches and the gloves come off. They grapple briefly with Simpson getting Manny's helmet off. Todd fires a few straight rights with at least one connecting and an uppercut that might have landed (bad angle). Manny never throws a punch and goes for the takedown.

Fedoruk challenges him in the zone. Long squareoff. Looks like the linesmen might come in, and they start chucking. Fedoruk mainly with lefts, Downey with some rights. Both swing wildly, until Fedoruk gets in close and starts landing some uppercuts. Fedoruk misses with some rights and nails Downey with a left cross. Fedoruk lands with another left and they go down.

Dec 19, 2002 1pd 07:04 Stephane Robidas @DET Sean Avery
Avery throws a hit on Robidas, a little jawing and off come the gloves. They come together with Robidas getting off to a quick start and landing a couple rights. Avery comes back with the left and they exchange blows, each getting in a few. The last right by Robidas looked to stun Avery a bit. He regains himself as his jersey begins to come up. His right arm is free from the jersey now, and he lands a couple to the helmet. Robidas is bent over now and Avery throws a pretty wicked left uppercut which appeared to land, but can't be certain since Avery's fist was caught inside his jersey at the time. They get all tangled up, embrace each other with headlocks and its over.

Dec 27, 2002 2pd 06:59 Aaron Downey @FLA Peter Worrell
Both men line up at the face-off and drop the gloves upon the dropping of the puck. Both start circling and Downey takes a humorous deep breath as Worrell is calling him to come over. They finally get together and Worrell tries to gain control while Downey throws about 3 fast lefts, landing maybe 1. Worrell then gets control and starts throwing bombs connecting on a couple, but Downey starts to comeback and throws 3 wild punches and a couple uppercuts, connecting on a couple, and Worrell seems to be a little surprised. Worell starts to hold on while Downey keeps trying to throw. Both exchange a few more with Worell getting better shots before wrestling each other down with both landing hard on their sides.

Stars up 6-2 in the second. In front of the LA bench, Lappy is trying to get something started and drops them with Hatch. Immediate punching, with neither landing anything. Then Hatcher starts connecting with some noogies and Lappy buries his head in Hatcher's sweater. Hatch grabs the back of Lappy's helmet, but it won't give, so Hatch starts pummelling the back of Lappy's head until the helmet comes off. Lappy looks up and Hatch connects with a huge right. Lappy turtles and Hatch gives him few going down.

At the end of the game Erskine and Downey are on the ice, Malholtra runs Shantz and then Calgary makes a change to bring out Begin and Nichol. Begin is skating by and you can see Downey shaking the gloves to challenge him, and then the camera cuts away somewhere else and you can hear a big roar. When they come back Erskine is fighting Begin. They're in tight and Erskine is throwing rights, Begin lefts. Happens pretty fast, and there's a quick takedown with the linesmen rushing in to try and end it and get both teams off the ice.

A few minutes prior to this scrap, Isbister crushed Sydor with a clean, solid hit that set off a major scrum involving Downey, Ott, Staios, Smith, York and Boucher. Oilers are on a PP now and as Hirsch covers up the puck, Boucher and Isbister are at the side of the net having words. They decide to drop the gloves. Isbister gets going first, throwing 3 or 4 right hands, connecting to helmet and the side of the head. Boucher throws a couple, one connected. Isbister throws a few more and Boucher goes down with Isbister on top still throwing rights. Isbister is bleeding from the nose, so one of Boucher's shots got in there however he still appeared to get the better shots in overall.
