Along the boards near the benches is where it starts. Simpson gets the left going, while Guerin's got his head down. Billy can't straighten up and is just taking punches. Guerin finally isn't bent over, but can't throw a punch as he's tied up. Simpson's about to start with some rights when the linesmen come rushing in.

In between the blue line and the center ice line, by the penalty box, the gloves come off easy. They're each throwing heavy rights. After a couple, Erskine lands a nice one, but Burnett's helmet is still on. Erskine throws a couple more, Burnett's balance seems to be off from the get-go. While throwing Burnett is slipping and pulls Erskine down with him.

After getting roughings earlier, they finally find each other and it has to be some of the worst camera work ever. Came in extremely late, but when the camera got there, they were throwing light shots between the linseman.

Fair squareoff, Walker dives in and throws a shot that might of hit Simpson's chin. They both start throwing extremely wild shots and both fighters are landings, maybe a couple of more by Simpson. Walker had bad balance, but managed to get in his fair share of shots. Walker was bleeding after the fight. The lineseman let this one go on for a while. Very scrappy, entertaining fight. Simpson received a game misconduct because his jersey was not tied down. Other Penalties: Simpson received a game misconduct.

Salei checks Thornton from behind into the boards and Joe goes down, and stays down for a minute. Boynton immediately comes in with the gloves off and starts firing rights. Everybody started to pile in, but that doesn't stop Nick as he is laying into Salei with the right hands. It's eventually stopped with Todd Simpson with a cut on the bridge of his nose. Todd was technically third man, but got no penalty and got cut for his efforts, but not from a punch. Other Penalties: Salei received a boarding; Boynton an instigator and misconduct.

In front of Nabokov both drop em and quickly grab on. Burnett gets a quick weak one in, Parker throws a big right that might have hit helmet while in a spin, then Parker throws another and Burnett falls fast from bad balance.

These two come together at center ice. Ward checks Primeau and kind of glove-punches him in the face. Primeau punches him back and Ward drops his gloves. Primeau drops his gloves and they squareoff. Ward reaches in and Primeau swings a right that either grazes or misses. Ward fires two rights that miss, Primeau lands one over the top. They tie each other up. Ward throws two that graze Primeau, Primeau throws an over, under, over right hand (didn't appear to bother Ward). Linesman then jump in for no reason. Other Penalties: Each player received a roughing.

Behind the play, Simpson and Moen decide to go. It seemed like Moen was holding on for dear life, though he did sneak one shot in. Simpson had Travis ducking almost the entire time. Simpson landed an uppercut at the end before they tire and Moen gets the take down. Other Penalties: Simpson received a slashing; Moen a roughing.

Off the facoff they go. Burnett throws a quick jab that hits, then they lose hold of each other and circle again. They grab on, Burnett and Vandenbuche spin a little, and Vandenbusche gets his left free and lands a good left followed by more lefts that hit helmet. Burnett slips and Vandenbuschle lands on top.

Jackman lands a big hit, Simpson comes in to defend his teammate. Simpson rains three or four lefts before Jackman realizes he's in a fight. It evens out after Jackman regains his balance and nothing really happens. Other Penalties: Jackman receives a kneeing; Simpson an instigator and misconduct.

Erskine got a flurry of punches in at the beginning, and one at the end that cut Burnett on the inside of his left eye. Erskine looked like a wrestler they way he saddled Burnett on the ice. Other Penalties: Burnett received an interference.

Vandenbussche and Burnett had a dandy of a go late in the first period. They exchanged some monster shots, while switching hands in the process. It was an old-fashioned duke-out, ending in a massive right hand by Burnett that KO'd Vandy. He got up and his nose just started pouring blood. Vandy was very slow to the bench, and almost fell as he tried to get back up. You can see Burnett tap Vandenbussche on the chest immediately after dropping him - a bit of gentlemanly goondom, if you will.

Nichol takes a shot on Fedorov, Sauer takes excemption and drop the gloves with Nichol. It was a nothing fight with only one punch thrown, then they fell to the ice. Other Penalties: Sauer received a roughing.

Both come together, they're grappling. Wiemer goes to throw a shot and can't, so he takes Sauer's helmet off. He throws a short right hook that goes behind Sauer's neck, then a left that might have connected. After that, Sauer turned his head and ducked away as Wiemer threw a few lefts. Sauer turns and throws a big left from down below, which either connected or grazed Wiemer, who was uneffected. Sauer goes down from the momentum of his own swing and it's over.

Out of a scrum come Bootland and Simpson with the gloves off. Bootland looks to be getting the better of the early exchanges throwing three or four rights but nothing appeared to land clean, but then Simpson gets his left free and throws three or four of his own before they hit the ice with Simpson on top. Some of those lefts from Simpson must have landed well because Bootland was cut up real bad and his face was covered in blood when he was skating off.

Puck drops, and the gloves drop just as fast. No squareoff, they just dive right in and start chucking. When the grab on Burnett's jersey comes up, and all he's got on are sleeves, easy to see it wasn't tied down. About ten seconds of toe-to-toe action, Lessard stuck with the left, Burnett started with the right and quickly switched to the left. Each player seemed to land, and it was very easy to see one power punch from Burnett landing squarely, but Lessard seemed to eat it up. They get in close, Burnett attempts to get Lessard bent over, so Lessard goes for the takedown. Other Penalties: Burnett received a game misconduct.

Starts behind the play, they grapple for position as Simpson tries to get his left arm free. He throws a couple of lefts and Guerin kind of tucks his head away and throws two rights of his own. Simpson had his left cocked back and threw another one to the back of Guerins head, they hug some more and slip to the ice.

Off the faceoff they drop the gloves and have a really short squareoff. They grapple for position and Ward knocks Morgan's helmet off with a punch to the back of the head. They grapple some more and Morgan gets in two left "jersey jabs" right to the face of Ward that makes him lean back for a second. He regains his balance and keeps Morgan at arms-length with his right cocked back. Morgan tries a body shot and Ward comes over top with a quick right, but it wiffs. Morgan throws a left that wiffs and Ward comes back with about two more lefts to the back of Morgan's head, as Morgan slips to the ice with Ward landing on top.

scrum starts behind the net, Holmqvist comes in and grabs on to Ruutu. Ruutu starts it off with a few right hands. Then he switches to lefts, a couple landing. Holmqvist lands a good right, but Ruutu is throwing some more now, landing short rights. Ruutu is throwing hard uppercuts, Holmqvist is off-balance and the linesmen step in. Holmqvist never had his left glove off. Other Penalties: Ruutu received a roughing; Holmqvist an instigator and misconduct.

They're in a scrum and Wiemer's trying to get at Salei while Todd Simpson is trying to get Wiemer to go with him instead. They separate from the scrum with some help from the linesmen who warns Simpson about a third man in. Salei pushes Wiemer into the bench, dislodging Wiemer's helmet. Salei lands a right. Wiemer responds with three rights. A weak right by Salei hits shoulder. A few more rights by Wiemer. Wiemer starts to hammer away with right uppercuts. Salei misses a right and goes down, with Wiemer pounding him with more right uppercuts as the linesmen come in. Salei skates away with a cut under his eye. Other Penalties: Matt Johnson and Todd Simpson each received a roughing; Willie Mitchell a major cross checking and game misconduct.

Radio: Oliwa gets the upperhand early and wrestles Severson down. Severson gets back up. They wrestle more with Oliwa landing one or two, then they fall down and get back up. Oliwa then lands Severson with an uppercut and then a blow to the chest. Oliwa then wrestles Severson down to the ice to end the fight.

Burnett comes in late charging the Phoenix net. He bumps into Nagy, knocks him over. Vaananen and Taffe jump in and shove him. Nazarov comes in from behind late and those two drop the gloves. Burnett gets his right free early and starts throwing shots at Nazarov. They spin around in front of the Phoenix net, Nazarov throws a right which misses and they fall to the ice. Burnett tried to throw a few rights at Nazarov while they are on the ice, but the linesmen are right there breaking them up. Hard to tell what landed and what didn't. Other Penalties: Nazarov received a cross checking.

Nazarov challenges Burnett in the Ducks' zone. Nazarov had his gloves off real early and he landed a short, quick left which stunned Burnett. He almost lost his balance and started stumbling backwards. After he regains his balance he throws off his elbow pad and they start squaring off, Nazarov skating backwards and Burnett skating towards him. They lock on quickly and Nazarov tries a few short lefts. Burnett then sticks his head in Andrei's chest and Nazarov throws four or five body shots. Burnett tries to come back with a right which misses and Nazarov tries another right afterwards and they fall to the ice.

They open up and Grenier lands a hard right, Severson comes back with a few hard lefts and then Grenier follows that with some rights and an uppercut while Severson is slipping down.

The fight starts in front of the Nashville net. Stevenson and Severson start to push and shove and the gloves come off. They grab a hold of each other and Stevenson throws a right that hits a combination of forehead and helmet and sends Severson's helmet flying. After the right they start grappling and Stevenson tries another right that comes up short. Severson responds with two weak lefts that hit helmet or shoulder. Stevenson then wrestles Severson down to a knee and tries a right that comes up short. They continue on with the grappling and do a 180 and exchange rights to the back of the head or heck. Stevenson then throws an overhand right that connects to the back of Severson's head and sends the off-balance Severson to the ice. Stevenson tries another right when Severson was on his way to the ice and missed by a country mile and threw himself to the ice. They're both on the ice now and the linesmen move in.

They drop em' off the draw and Brennan throws a big right sending Burnett's helmet flying and he follows it up with another big right to Burnett's forehead putting him to the ice and drawing blood. Burnett gets up and throws a couple of weak rights which miss before Brennan tosses him back to the ice.

Avery crushes Ward after the whistle and Severson issues the challenge. They quickly drop the gloves and grab on, but Ward tried to jump in too. They break free of him and Avery throws multiple rights to Severson who slips to the ice and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Samuel Pahlsson received a slashing.

This started as the Avery-Severson fight was going on. Ward wanted no part of this as he tried his best not to throw a punch and to keep Norton from throwing any either. Norton attempted two rights over top that hit helmet and then when he slung Ward to the ice, he punched him on top of his head for good measure.

Starts in front of the net as Strudwick bumps Burnett and they ditch the mitts. Burnett tries a right as Strudwick tries one as well, both glancing each other. Burnett throws a left to the back of the helmet and starts throwing jersey-jabs with his right while Strudwick kept his left cocked back waiting to deliver. They then spin down to the ice off-balance.

Starts at center ice, both grab on and jostle for position. Burnett throws two quick overhand lefts and Vandy answers back with one of his own. They spin around and Burnett throws a right overtop that misses while Vandy ducks and tries some lefts of his own, both glancing Burnett. They get in-tight and spin around. Burnett gets the right free and starts pumping rights, forcing Vandy down to a knee.

They're pushing and shoving in front of Theodore and they decide to drop the gloves. Burnett starts out throwing two rights, hard to see where they hit. He switches hands and goes to the left and gets off three shots, the first two possibly landing, and the third missing or grazing. The momentum causes Burnett to fall with Langdon on top.

This fight started when Cowan finished a check in the Ducks zone with the game already in hand. Ward skated after him and asked him to go and they drop the gloves. Ward throws some rights, nothing looked to land, and Cowan starts throwing lefts, with one connecting on Ward, so Ward holds on and Cowan throws a few more lefts to end the fight.

Lots of jersey tugging, seemed to be more strength by Parker. Burnett tries to throw a jab and misses. More tugging as Burnett tries to throw another punch and misses and slips down to the ice.

Burnett challenges Oliwa who is uninterested. Burnett drops his gloves and then jumps Oliwa from behind and fired away before Oliwa even knew it was happening. Burnett throws two rights before everyone jumps in. Nilson gets the third man in. Other Penalties: Marcus Nilson received a roughing and game misconduct; Burnett a cross checking, instigator and game misconduct. Krzysztof Oliwa did not receive a fighting major.
