Good post. I agree with Peat vs Stock fight, is the best ever. I think there are some awesome fights missing from this top 10.

One of the most ferocius fight ever, Kyle Freadrich vs. Ryan VandenBussche, from March 3, 2000.

Some good scraps especially Mirasty and Yablonski, but a note to sickboy from Romania, the Peat/Stock fight is not the best ever.  To find the best ever, you have to go back another decade to Probert versus Domi at MSG, the rematch.  Count the number of bombs that Big Bad Bobby dropped on Tie’s head.  Probert levelled every heavyweight that challenged him for over 10 years running

Arguably, one of the most violent and brutal beatdowns, ever, was the destruction of Canadiens’ enforcer, Pierre (Butch) Bouchard, by Bruin’s tough-guy Stan Jonathan ... leaving Bouchard on his hands and knees staring at the bloody ice.

My favorite fights since 80 were two of the Coxe-Probert fights and the Byers-Carkner fight when they were hammering each other against the end boards.  So many great throwdowns, many involving Probert BTW (i.e. Gaetz), unfortunately most in the older days.  The great thing about the Stock-Peat rivalry was that they had several great bouts, this last one was the climax, but the first one I believe occureed on one of those early season Monday national holidays when the NHL played a day game.  If I recall, that Bruins-Caps matchup was physical from the drop of the puck.  Good old days!!!!  Although that three straight fight scenario between the Pens and Flyers last night was beautiful old school too.

No Rob Ray?  I thought for sure there would be a Ray Vs Domi in there…

Hey retard who runs this site, don’t post a fight if there is no fucking video. What a waste! And the last 5 fights, that’s joke too!! There were 3 fights in the Pens-Flyers game and none posted on the front page where they fucking should be.

I could do a much better job than you

Hey Jason, feel free to put up the link to your website, so we can all critique it.  This site does a great job of gathering all the videos, and guess what, it’s free so quit complaining.

“of the decade”, as in this one.

#20 - azjim on Jan 19, 2010 at 04:55 AM

For all the genious comments here, it’s obvious you don’t understand what a decade is. The decade of the 2000’s means the years starting with 200_. Your Domi and Probert fights were in the 1990s.

The greatest fight of this decade is Kyle Freadrich vs Ryan VandenBussche. Two guys punching and doing damage, not two guys throwing fast but soft punches. When you view it, look at the players on the bench and their reaction to teeth flying their way.
