Roy Takes on Boogaard

Andre Roy went after Derek Boogaard last night.  He fared like most do against the enormous Boogaard, not well, but it was about showing up.  Wade Belak‘s had some success against Boogey this season, but he’s been the only man able to claim that so far.

Also from the Flames-Wild game: Rene Bourque had a bout with Nick Schultz.  Later in the night Mike Brown had a short scrap with Zack Stortini.

Server update

I’ve been working on the server as much as possible.  It’s had a few slowdowns, but otherwise has been relatively stable.  I’m making some bigger changes, and a few days from now all issues should be resolved.

Definitely got to give the edge to Boogaard in this one. That was a hell of a hit he put on Bourque. I don’t envy Andre Roy for having to stick up for his teammate on that one. I guess that’s why he takes home that $550,000 paycheck.

Give props to Roy for sticking up for his teamate. As for the fight he definetly lost but not to many other tough guys have had any success fighting the boogeyman.

Andre Roy is the most underrated fighter in the NHL.  Keenan better wise up and play him for the rest of the season.  Eric Godard is really the only one who has Boogaards number.

Credit to Roy for going straight after Boogs, but to no luck he lost. I love the Boogy man but too many good heavy weights to call him the champ.

Good on Roy for showing up… not a big fan of the way he ran at the boogy man though. Yeah Godard is the real deal just a terrible hockey player… i think Jim Vandermeer is the most underrated fighter and puts on a show too.
