Parros Only Winning Duck

George Parros dropped Riley Cote last night, in what might have been the only Ducks highlight of the weekend after going scoreless in back-to-back nights.

You had to expect something was going to happen when the Ducks and Flyers, the two teams leading the league in fighting majors, met up.  Cote and Parros, each leading their respective teams in FMs (Ducks, Flyers), and both tied for second in the NHL after Jared Boll, didn’t disappoint, dropping the gloves at exactly the midway mark in the game.

After they squared off, both in a southpaw stance, they grappled a little while Cote threw a couple of lefts.  Parros switched to the right landing a couple before a big uppercut sent Cote to the ice.  The two continued to exchange words in the boxes afterwards.

More love from the swamp

At the end of the Ivanans-Rupp clip, Devils announcer Chico Resch mentioned how Cam Janssen stops by the site to keep up on the fights around the league, always fun to hear.  No secret we’re fans of the NJ crew here, and can’t wait to see Cam get back on the ice.

Hello Finland

When Olli Jokinen drops the gloves, half of Finland seems to stop by the site.  Hello to everyone who stopped by from italehti.fi

All four fights from the Vancouver Canucks at Tampa Bay Lightning game on Jan 31, 2008 had another feed added to each.

The Chicago-San Jose feed started late on Center Ice (and possibly in SJ too?), so no ETA on Burish-Murray.  Hope to have Cole-Orpik soon.
