Grab the Remote

Here it is, the first day of the 2007-08 NHL regular season.  Oh, I know it started last weekend in London with the Ducks and Kings, but tonight’s that first night you get to just sit back and flip through multiple games, assuming you have Center Ice or Versus or TSN or whatever the combination of channels needed in your area is.  I’m happy to be able to watch the NHL Network now.

Setting the tone

Sportsnet is running a CP article, Ready to renew a rivalry, hyping the Leafs-Sens game tonight.  The piece is accompanied by a pic of Tucker taking on Eaves.

TSN has a story highlighting Brian Burke pulling no punches regarding how he feels about Kevin Lowe.

On the first day of the MLB playoffs, ESPN currently has a season preview as the lead story.  Seriously.  Sidney Crosby’s the cover boy and topic of one article/video.

Downloads update

I plan on re-adding downloads towards the end of this week.

A long list of reads after the jump.

Some reads
