Crosby Drops Them Again

Leave it to Sidney Crosby to unexpectedly add some flavor to what was shaping up to be a normal Saturday afternoon slate of games.

“The Kid” dropped his gloves and starting throwing punches at Panthers forward Brett McLean after the two took a faceoff in the second period of the Cats’ 6-1 win over the Pens. McLean’s gloves managed to come off at one point, but Crosby pulled McLean’s jersey over his head and pulled him to the ice before anything else could occur.

Moments before Crosby’s second NHL fight, Maxime Talbot locked horns with Gregory Campbell, possibly in response to Campbell going head-to-head with Crosby earlier in the game.

I give props to Crosby for sticking up for his team. They were getting pounded and all he tried to do wass swing the momentum. If the Pens came back and won, it’d be a whole different argument. However, his plan failed so he’s “scum.” All of you haters just wish you had Crosby on your team because he’s the best player in the game. With all the cheap shots he takes, he was bound to snap eventually.
