Matthew Barnaby was an excellent hockey player!!  And I’m a diehard Flyers fan.  I always wanted him on our team, he was the epitome of a gutsy team player.  It’s a shame to see him go if this is true.  If he retires, I bet he will show up as a color man somewhere since he is so well spoken….PS….he loved playing hockey in Philly because he said we are the best fans for an opponent….

Matthew Barnaby, love or hate him you could never question where his heart was. He gave everything for every team he played for. He was an essential personality in the nhl. There was always some excitement when matthew barnaby was on the ice.

I can’t believe Matt’s retiring!  I LOVED him and his intensity when he was here in Colorado.  I cried when we lost him and now I guess its time to shed a few more tears because I’ll never see him on the ice again.  THANKS for the GREAT YEARS Matt!!!
