Only the Game Left

Yesterday featured a variety of events before the the Skills Competition and Young Stars game.  The SuperSkills event had mixed reviews this year, with many blog posts around that look similar the Yahoo!‘s Ross McKeon.

The East won, or if you’re in Atlanta, Kovalchuk, East win skills competition.

All-Star Weekend comes to a close today after the All-Star game is played at 6PM eastern.  On the front of Yahoo!‘s NHL page is a video with McKeon talking about how the NHL could possibly “fix” the game.  The game can be seen on Versus and CBC.  Versus is currently running an ad campaign on this site related to the All-Star Game.

John took a look at the Western Conference All-Stars and highlighted some players and some of their memorable fights.  A look at the Eastern Conference comes today.

Beech property

Kris Beech was claimed off of waivers again yesterday.  That’s technically his fourth NHL team within the past month, although he never played a game for the Capitals.
