Update 1000am: As has been rumored, Gary Roberts is going to the Pens for Noah Welch. - DS

Update 1038am: Darren Dreger from TSN reporting that the Maple Leafs have offered 2nd and 4th round picks for Jamal Mayers. - JF

Update 1048am: Dreger is also reporting that the Sabres have traded goaltender Martin Biron. There is no indication yet as to where he is headed. - JC

Update 1109am: TSN confirms that Biron has been dealt to the Flyers in exchange for a draft pick. - JC

Update 1112am: TSN reports the Sabres have followed up the Biron trade by acquiring Ty Conklin. - JF

Update 1123am: Sportsnet reporting that Georges Laraque will be traded by the end of the day and will have the choice between Calgary or Pittsburgh. - JF

Update 1137am: TSN reporting that Laraque has been traded to Pittsburgh for Daniel Carcillo and an 7th round pick. - JC

Update 1140am: Kevyn Adams has signed a one-year deal with the Phoenix Coyotes. - JC

Update 1157am: TSN stating that Bill Guerin has been traded by the Blues to a team that is not yet known. - JC

Update 1159am: TSN now saying that Guerin has been dealt to the Sharks by the Blues for a 1st round pick and an unnamed prospect. - JC

- Michael Leighton has been claimed by the Habs
- Denis Hamel is picked up by the Flyers
- Jason Krog has been snatched up by the Thrashers
- The Coyotes have claimed Niko Kapanen
- Brian Boucher has gone from the Blackhawks to the Blue Jackets
- Marc Chouinard, Aaron Downey, Petr Cajanek, and Bryan Berard have all cleared waivers. - JC

Update 1234pm: TSN reporting that the Penguins have traded Dominic Moore to the Wild for a 3rd round pick. - JC

Update 107pm: TSN reports that Aaron Ward has been traded to the Bruins for a prospect. - JC

Update 116pm: Sportsnet now stating that Ville Nieminen, Jay Barriball, and a 1st round pick in this year’s draft were the total package that was sent to the Blues in exchange for Guerin. - JC

Update 134pm: Leafs Lunch is reporting Paul Mara is the player being sent to the Rangers for Ward. - DS

Update 157pm: TSN reporting that the Coyotes have sent Oleg Saprykin and a pick to the Senators and will get a 2nd round pick in return. - JC

Update 203pm: The Habs have assigned Downey to Hamilton of the AHL. - JC

Update 209pm: TSN reporting that the Ducks have acquired Brad May from the Avalanche. No word yet on what the Avs will be getting in return. - JC

Update 436pm: The details on the Norstrom trade have been revealed -  The Kings get Jaroslav Modry, Johan Fransson, a first round pick in 2008, and 2nd and 3rd round picks in this year’s draft; The Stars get Norstrom, Konstantin Puskarev, along with rd and 4th round picks. - JC

Update 455pm: Rounding out the trades for the day…

- The Penguins made two late deals, sending a fourth round pick to the Panthers in exchange for Joel Kwiatkowski as well as a seventh round selection to San Jose for Nolan Schaefer.

- The Predators have sent Mikko Lehtonen to Buffalo for a fourth round pick.

- The Lightning acquired Jason Ward from the Kings in exchange for a fifth rounder. The Lighting also traded Nikita Alexeev to the Blackhawks for Karl Stewart and a 6th round pick.

- The Caps have sent Jamie Heward to LA for a conditional draft pick.

- David Hale was acquired by the Flames from the Devils in exchange for a third round selection in this year’s draft. - JC
