Boll on Parade

It was a rough third period in Buffalo‘s big win over Nashville last night. Although the scrums continued until the end of the game, the fighting got done early. Andrew Peters and Darcy Hordichuk dropped the gloves a few minutes into the period. Adam Mair and Jordin Tootoo went at it right off of the ensuing faceoff seconds later.
 
Jared Boll continues to stretch his lead in the total fighting majors race. The popular rookie danced with Doug Murray in last night’s only other scrap.

The Rangers and Hurricanes will meet in Carolina for the first time since their fight-filled game in January. Cam Janssen will likely make his debut in a Blues uniform tonight as St. Louis hosts the Coyotes.
 
Assuming that his oft-injured shoulder is ready to go, Brian McGrattan will have a chance to make up for his last performance against Riley Cote when the Senators and Flyers meet in a game that always seem to have eyes ever since their infamous brawl, of which the four-year anniversary will come next week.
