| Comments: May and McRae have a good square off deep in the Buffalo zone. May dives in first and the two both start throwing hard, wild rights that are not connecting well. May slips, but gets back up and immediately sneaks in a hard left. They are now both trying to find openings, and each throws a few including some body shots. May starts to land better and gets McRae totally crossed up, who is now just trying to shield himself. Now on the defensive, McRae gets tagged with two hard lefts which send him down to the ice. | ||||

| Comments: These two drop the gloves and immediately start chucking punches, Ewen with the left and McRae with the right. Ewen then misses with a left leading them to tie up and wrestle awhile for position. Ewen finally gets his right free and lands a decent uppercut and some overhand rights. McRae is able to throw a few grazing shots but can't get anything going and the referees step in to break this one up. | ||||

| Comments: These two have a great, long square off deep in the Devil's zone. They both start throwing numerous rights, with most of them not landing cleanly. The jersey comes up over McRae's head giving Simpson a slight advantage. They grab on, and eventually Simpson manages to get free to throw three decent lefts. McRae answers with some overhand rights that pop Simpson's helmet off. Again they grapple with Simpson tossing a body shot or two before being separated. | ||||
