| Comments: Late in the third, Nazarov goes looking for a scrap with Norton by hitting Mathieu Schneider. Norton agrees and they get in close, with Brad throwing all the punches. A couple rights graze some helmet, then a left, and then Nazarov gets the takedown. Other Penalties: Nazarov received a roughing. | ||||

| Oct 19, 2002 | 1pd 13:43 | PHO | @ BUF | Eric Boulton |
| Comments: Nazarov is practically begging Ray to go and Ray just skates around in Naz's face talking. He won't go for whatever reason. Naz comes and put's a big hit on Ray and Boulton comes over and decides to engage. Naz overpowers Bulton and does some hugging. He throws some awful slaps at Boulton. Then Boulton just tackles Naz. | ||||

| Oct 26, 2002 | 1pd 01:31 | @ PHO | MIN | Matt Johnson |
| Comments: Less than two minutes into the game Nazzy looks to continue the rivalry going back to the SJ days. They square off and Matt opens up with two rights. Nazzy tucks himself in nice and tight and they exchange noogies on each others helmets. Matt does try switching to his left to catch Naz, but nothing connects. Take down by Naz. | ||||

| Oct 28, 2002 | 1pd 02:45 | PHO | @ NYR | Krzysztof Oliwa |
| Comments: First shift for both players and they drop them off the faceoff. No square off because Oliwa dives right in and throws a bomb that connects, but brushes off. Nazarov also landed a little right when he dove in and a follow up left. They hold each other and Oliwa is trying to get loose. He does and he throws a bomb that misses and he goes off balance and starts falling. Naz doesn't throw any more. | ||||

| Oct 31, 2002 | 3pd 16:49 | PHO | @ PHI | Donald Brashear |
| Comments: Brash takes a little run at Vaananen and Naz comes flying up and tries to run Brash, who at the last second drops to his knees to avoid it. Brash starts to skate up ice, then decides he's going to answer this challenge. They square off, then Naz goes for a straight right that just grazes the top of Brash's lid. Brash grabs a hold and Naz throws 4 lefts and a right to the side of Brash's head, but they've got nothing on them because Brash is too strong and has a bear hug on Andrei. Nazarov throws a left while Brash throws a short left that may have hit. Brash with a short uppercut, can't tell if it hit. Brash with a left behind Naz's head. Naz then throws another nothing left. Now Brash has him in a double headlock and is trying to get his helmet off, their faces are about an inch apart. Brashear with an overhand left that misses. Nazarov with a left to Brash's temple/cheek. Now Naz has a bear hug on Brash as well, and another nothing left from Naz. Brashear throws a left that's short and Naz just misses a good uppercut. Now they're both literally hugging and Brash tries to pull away. He throws a right that loses its muster as it reaches Nazarov's face. Donald then lands a nice right to Naz's cheek as Naz lands a short left to Brash's face. Pulling Brash downward, Naz misses an overhead left. Now Naz is up against the Yotes' bench and Brashear thows a quick left to Naz's ear. Two more that glance his helmet. Naz tries a left, but nothing. Brashear looked to land another nice, quick, short left. Now Brash's left is free and Naz is going to his knees. Brash throws about 3-4 quick uppercuts, but cant see what hit directly. The linesmen come in and there's blood on the back of Brash's jersey from a cut on Andrei's face. | ||||

| Nov 12, 2002 | 1pd 08:45 | PHO | @ CAR | Jesse Boulerice |

| Nov 15, 2002 | 1pd 15:47 | PHO | @ ATL | Jeff Odgers |
| Comments: Odgers really got off fast against the bigger Naz. Naz seemed to be controlling him, but Odgers was throwing the entire time. Naz got tagged in the nose (and bloodied pretty good) at some point, not sure which punch caught him. Odgers went to a knee at one point, but he more or less slipped or was wrestled down; and got up and started throwing again. Big heart from Odgers. | ||||

| Nov 17, 2002 | 1pd 10:59 | @ PHO | COL | Scott Parker |
| Comments: Great fight here, not sure who dropped them first, but Parker grabs Nazarov and throws four strong rights and Naz falls. Parker keeps throwing the rights as Nazarov struggles to get up. Parker throws about four more good rights, one to the nose, and Nazarov never gets the first punch in. | ||||

| Nov 28, 2002 | 1pd 03:09 | @ PHO | CHI | Ryan VandenBussche |
| Comments: Happens during the replay of previous fight. Naz jumps in and gets caught with 2 hard lefts from Vandy. Naz goes down, but it wasn't a TKO. Naz' knees didn't buckle or anything, looked more like a willingness to drop and not get hit anymore. | ||||

| Dec 07, 2002 | 1pd 18:21 | @ PHO | MON | Stephane Quintal |
| Comments: Right after Quintal scores, Naz skates towards Quintal and gently gives him a shoulder. The camera follows the play up the ice and then they start fighting. Naz starts by throwing the lefts that seemed to have a couple land and then SRC started to fade into a player on the Montreal bench and fade back into the fight. By then, Quintal throws a right uppercut that misses and a right cross that seems to hit and Naz falls back. After watching the replay, Naz started with the lefts which impeded Quintal's rights. | ||||

| Dec 17, 2002 | 1pd 03:15 | @ PHO | PIT | Steve McKenna |
| Comments: They drop em after a faceoff and the camera is late getting there. Naz throws 3 or 4 lefts as they come together. Punches don't appear to land as McKenna throws a right. They're face to face, hugging. Naz tries 2 lefts that come up short, then lands a left to McKenna's neck, popping his lid off. Naz throws 3 more lefts, none landing. McKenna tries a left that is short, then landed a softie to Naz's ear. McKenna then tries 2 uppercuts, none hitting. Naz sticks his head in McKenna's chest and takes him down hard. | ||||

| Dec 22, 2002 | 1pd 14:44 | PHO | @ ANA | Mike Brown |
| Comments: Long fight, Draw. Both landed about 6-7 punches a piece. Brown scored his first career NHL goal a few shifts prior to the fight. | ||||

| Jan 23, 2003 | 1pd 12:21 | PHO | @ CAL | Craig Berube |
| Comments: Berube takes a run at a Coyote, then comes in Naz. Naz decides he actually wants to throw punches in this one and throws 3-4 left hands, landing a couple on Berube. He then switched to the right and nails Craig right on the beak; and Naz then wrestles Berube down. | ||||

| Feb 05, 2003 | 1pd 03:39 | PHO | @ LOS | Ryan Flinn |
| Comments: Happens after the puck drops. They both go and seem to throw a few equally, maybe Flinn was more agressive. Naz appeared to hit him flush and slowed Flinn. They traded off a few more, evenly it appeared, nothing connected square. Linesmen then came in. | ||||

| Feb 21, 2003 | 1pd 10:26 | PHO | @ DAL | John Erskine |
| Comments: Both drop the gloves off the faceoff. Nazarov throws some lefts to start off (didn't seem to land any cleanly). Erskine comes back with some rights and Nazarov wrestles him to the ice. | ||||

| Mar 06, 2003 | 2pd 08:04 | PHO | @ STL | Reed Low |
| Comments: Naz drills a Blues player and gets a roughing. When he comes out he and Low go off the faceoff. A good amount of punches thrown, while not much damage was done. Naz got in a good right cross and uppercut in the exchange. Linesmen seperate after about 30 seconds of fighting. | ||||

| Mar 14, 2003 | 2pd 02:32 | @ PHO | CHI | Sami Helenius |
| Comments: Off-camera they come toghether and Sami just starts firing right hands at a turned away Naz. Sami threw about 10-12 in a row with Naz trying to sneek in the ocasional counter-punch. Helenius did not really let Naz get started as he just keep throwing. Most, if not all, hitting a turned away Naz's neck and back of the head. After about 12 seconds of this Sami just grabbed and tossed Naz to the ice with Helenius on top. No real damage. | ||||

| Mar 18, 2003 | 1pd 14:23 | @ PHO | BOS | Krzysztof Oliwa |
| Comments: Buchy takes a shot a Gill after Hal cleared him away from Raycroft's net. Oliwa had just stepped on the ice and went straight for Naz in the corner and they go. Oliwa was throwing a lot of rights, Naz just holding on. After a while, they get to about the faceoff dot and Nazzy seemed to have had enough and body slams Oliwa to the ice. Oliwa had a look of disgust on his face. | ||||

| Mar 24, 2003 | 1pd 17:30 | PHO | @ CAL | Steve Montador |
| Comments: Camera comes in a little late, but when it gets there Nazarov has Monty bent over at the waist and is raining down rights to the back of the head/neck of Montador. Monty eventually goes down to a knee and the linesmen come in. He will have a very sore neck tomorrow. | ||||

| Mar 29, 2003 | 2pd 05:46 | PHO | @ COL | Bryan Marchment |
| Comments: Good squareoff and a good fight. Naz is getting in some decent shots and has control. Marchment goes down, but quickly pops up and regains his balance before it can be broken up. Marchment then gets in some better shots of his own before the linesmen can finally step in. Other Penalties: Marchment received a double high sticking. | ||||

| Mar 31, 2003 | 1pd 02:01 | @ PHO | LOS | Ryan Flinn |
| Comments: Drop em after a Phoenix goal and have a decent squareoff. They both grab on and Naz throws a right that hits helmet, Flinn throws a right that hits helmet. Naz threw a right that connected and Flinn threw a big right that connected and looked to drop Naz. | ||||
