Comments: This was Domi's first game back from a suspension. Nazarov taps Domi's stick and the two drop the gloves. Domi punched quickly and either the punch or a push knocked Naz down. Nazarov got up just as quickly, but Domi already had a big advantage lifting Nazarov's jersey and blocking his vision. The rest was some hugging until the linesmen came in.

Comments: Laraque grab Nazarov and start throwing a barrage of lefts at Nazarov, who was ducking his head. Laraque hits Nazarov with about 10 to 15 lefts to the back of the head. Nazarov tries to answer, but only gets off 2 or 3 punches, none of which landed. Nazarov then tries hugging Laraque, and Laraque takes him down.

Comments: Not a typical Nazarov fight. Punches were thrown. Nazarov actually filled his role. Down 3-1 looking for some spark he finds McKenzie. They skate close together for a bit, gloves drop, Nazarov gets in a quick shot. A quick hold and duck, and then McKenzie gets his right hand free, throwing a bunch, landing quite a few, although Nazarov had the obvious reach advantage as some of the punches look like they hit Nazarov's neck. Nazarov counters with a couple of his own, solid to McKenzie's head. Then the two just decide to stand up and end the fight. BTW - Boston came back and won in overtime...hmm…

Comments: They start off grappling for position and Simpson gets off 3 rights to the side of Nazarov's head. Naz counters with a couple of rights then Simpson tosses 4 or 5 more rights, most hitting helmet. Naz sneaks in a great right towards the end.

Comments: McAllister starts off with a few rights, falls to his knees, and quickly recovers. Nazarov then throws a few rights of his own. They each appeared to land a few. While they're tied up, McAllister throws one left, and then gets his right free and throws about 5 to 6 of those, with one pretty nice uppercut. The two then tie each other up against the boards.

Comments: Nazarov bear hugs Oliwa who throws about 4 shots, all seeming to just hit the helmet, but at least he threw some shots.

Comments: McAllister grabs on to Nazarov and throws 7 punches going overhand right to uppercut and back again until Naz is on the ice. A few of these punches landed, although nothing major.

Comments: Nazarov throws a lunging punch that misses. They grapple for positioning a bit and McAllister throws 4 rights that have Naz ducking and hiding. Naz tries to respond with a feeble left that gets him off balance. As he is falling McAllister throws 2 more rights down at Nazarov, then the linesman save him. Nothing major landed in this bout if at all.

Comments: They drop the Gloves and grab a hold of each other, Naz holds off Hordichuck with his reach advantage as Hordichuck tries several rights. A couple land, but most come up short. Naz knocks him off balance and lands one shot while Hordichuck was on the ice.

Comments: Worrell goes right after him off the draw and Naz assumes his usual position leaning sideways. Worrell starts with the right and doesn't stop, Naz attempts a punch but is too scared to get hit and grabs back on. Worrell gets his helmet off and throws a ton more rights. Naz again attempts and possibly lands a punch before getting nailed by more Worrell rights. Naz then pushes Worrell to the boards as the linesmen come in and save Naz' life.

Comments: Naz wants the rematch and gets it, Camera was late but announcers say Nazarov lands a nice left. Nazarov then man-handles Worrell to the boards and possibly lands a few more, Worrell was pissed and on the ground he punches Naz.

Comments: Naz drops the gloves and skates towards Oliwa, and Oliwa drops his gloves. Oliwa throws a big punch that connects and puts Nazarov down on the ice! Nazarov starts to get up and Oliwa could've plastered him when he was getting up, but he respectfully let Naz get up. Then Naz held on and threw some punches, a bunch connecting to Oliwa's helmet. Oliwa tried throwing a couple more, but Naz had him in that bear hug.

Comments: They start jousting right off the draw, then drop the mitts. It starts off as basic grappling and they start leaning up against the boards as Stock lands a couple, Naz and Brennan drop em and start going at it, you don't see much of this fight as the cameraman smartly focuses on Stock. Stock and Buckberger trade punches until Stock takes over and pounds him to the ice. Other Players: Both players received game misconducts.

Comments: Naz seemed like he just wanted to hug. Lots of wrestling in this one until Low gets his arm free from his jersey and tags Naz twice until Naz takes him to the ice and then hurls a knee into Low. Other Penalties: Nazarov received a kneeing.

Comments: These two had matching roughings, and Naz comes out of the box and goes right after Chara. Naz gets in some decent lefts to Chara's head. Both guys are pretty defensive. Chara throws Naz down and tries to nail him but the linesmen get in there. Other Penalties: Nazarov received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: This one gets going just moments after Nazarov scores his first goal of the season. No Chris Simon syndrome for Naz! Anyway, it's a fair square off. Man the look on Jody Shelley's face during all of his fights is classic; he's all business. Jody leans in to go for the grab and is met by a stiff left to the face. That one surprised him as he lowers his head. Nazarov grabs on and tosses a quick right which skips off of Shelley's helmet. Shelley returns a right which is too short. Another right from Shelley may have got a little bit of Naz's ear but no damage done. A short right from Nazarov barely misses Shelley's chin. A right from Jody misses and then he grabs a handful of collar with his left and jams it into Naz's face. Another right by Shelley misses as Andrei is bent over and out of reach. He straightens up and fires a right which ain't long enough. A Shelley right is deflected by Nazarov's arm. Repeat last sentence. Shelley has spun himself behind Nazarov now and lands an overhand right to the back of his helmet. A second right lands to the back just before Nazarov get turned around. In close now. Shelley's helmet comes toppling off. A short Nazarov right doesn't get going. Shelley returns a right which pushes across Naz's face. Shelley gets bent over a little and Naz nds up with him in a semi-headlock. Shelley lands a right to the stomach area. Nazarov is pulling and tugging for all he's worth. Shelley is still bent over and evades a left from Nazarov. Shelley comes up with a wild right and sorta clotheslines Naz around the side of the neck. From here they go into a hug and down they go. Shelley will be penalized 15 yards for the clothesline. No words after the fight.

Comments: Laraque and Naz square off at the faceoff. Laraque stumbles, but Naz fails to use that to his advantage. Laraque then rips off Naz's helmet and lands a flurry of lefts mostly to the back of the head.

Comments: The two came together behind the net. It looked as if Naz landed a decent left and maybe another that knocked Flinn's helmet off. Flinn landed a few punches, maybe four short rights and a quick left. No damage done here either. Naz landed another left to the side of Flinn's head, but it didn't have all that much on it. The guys mostly grappled on the glass behind the net. Refs came in and separated the two. No one fell to the ice.

Comments: A long squareoff. Nazarov starts off throwing a right that gets blocked by Downey, who was also throwing a punch. Surprisingly Naz didn't start hugging, he grabbed Downey with his right and started throwing several lefts (about 4-5) that were actually connecting. Downey finally gets his left loose and drills Naz with a left. Naz immediately goes down to the ice. Downey continued throwing lefts (none landing). As Nazarov tries to get up, Downey changes hands quickly and starts throwing several rights (also none connecting). The linesmen jump in right away, while Downey continues throwing punch after punch. He actually hit the linesman a couple times.

Comments: Intresting fight because Naz decides to actually throw some punches. Beginning of the fight is all Naz but he soon decideds to start hugging. Bonvie is still going though and he lands a few good shots on Naz.
