| Late in the second period these two go at it. Fairly spirited bout with both firing at will. They both connect with a couple of hard punches before they tumble to the ice. Good fight. | ||||

| Shortly after the Danton-Moen scrap McLaren goes right after Aitken and they drop em quick and grab on. Aitken starts throwing lefts as McLaren was throwing the lefts. McLaren's lefts all looked like they missed as Aitken's mostly connected. They then lock up against the boards. McLaren throws two overhand rights, one of which connected and Aitken went down. Other Penalties: Ville Nieminen received a hooking. | ||||

| Aitken and Tripp squareoff in front of the Blackhawk's goal and trade two or three glancing blows each. Tripp with the right and Aitken with left. Aitken's holding off, waiting to throw a right and then bang! Aitken gets the opening and nails Tripp flush with a haymaker. Tripp drops to the ice straight away and Aitken skates striaght off to the box as Tripp needs some assistance to get up. He sits up and is bloodied and looking very groggy and is helped off the ice for repairs. | ||||

| Loong square off, even the crowd started booing, before they finally grabbed on. Aitken has his left free, and Reich his right. Reich throws a couple of nothing punches, then Aitken throws a strong left that wobbles him. He never really regains his footing and the linesmen come in to stop the fight. | ||||

| Takes place pretty much right off the draw in the Chicago zone. Aitken does alright at the start being the busier fighter earlier on. Shelley then falls down to a knee and sort of uses his strength to hold Aitken at bay. They have a pretty good hold of one another, but Shelley gets his right free and throws a few, then removes Aitken's helmet. Now Jody takes over and lands 3-4 nice right crosses and then a good right uppercut all flush to the head/face. Aitken tries to get the takedown and the linesmen come into to stop the long fight. | ||||

| In the Chicago zone they meet up and drop the gloves. They circle for a bit and come together. Olwa starts with a couple that seem to graze Aitken. Aitken responds with a couple of rights that don't connect. Oliwa then turns away and throws two haymakers that just miss and throw himself off-balance. Aitken then throws a couple to the back of head as Oliwa is falling. | ||||

| Behind the play they both mutually drop their gloves and grab hold. Big Mac gets this one started as he threw two lefts, one knocking Aitken's helmet off. After this they both went to grab and hold a bit with each guy throwing one or two more, and nothing landing. They looked quite gassed as the linesmen came in, although the fight was a quick one. | ||||
