Comments: Laperriere gets hit by Semenov up along the boards and that's all it takes. They throw the gloves off and get it on near the faceoff circle. Semenov seems to be in better control of the fight as he locks out the smaller Laperriere. Semenov tries throwing quite a few jersey-punches, but they all come up short. Laperriere finally tries to sneak in a few of his own, but Semenov's reach has him locked out. The linsemen come in as they tire each other out. Other Penalties: Semenov received an elbowing.

Comments: They start talking and drop the gloves right after the faceoff. They tie up as each player throws a couple of locked-out rights that miss. Semenov lands two rabbit punches and misses with another as Mayers struggles to get free. Mayers then loses his balance and falls to the ice, pulling Semenov down with him.
