Foote and Chimera drop em in the Avs zone with Chimera busy early with rights and Foote on the defensive. Foote then throws a couple with the last possibly landing flush to put Chimera down. Foote had a good night, with a Gordie Howe hat trick.

Iginla and Chimera almost go off the faceoff. Iginla even drops the stick and is ready to drop the gloves, but Chimera won't oblige. Lowry and he had words up the ice after the whistle and away they go. Lots of grappling and nothing really much landing.

Wiemer boards Horcoff and play continues. Laraque gives Wiemer a shove and moves on, Chimera goes after him a second later. Wiemer was throwing away and it looked like Chimera was content to hold on and throw when he could. Other Penalties: Chimera received an instigator and misconduct.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Feb 11, 2004 3pd 18:11 @ EDM ATL Jeff Cowan
Cowan and Chimera push and shove before skating further down ice. Georges Laraque skates in and tries to push Cowan away with his stick, but Ivan Majesky takes a run at Chimera. Laraque shoves Majesky and Cowan and Chimera take a step back before spotting each other and dropping the gloves. They grab ahold of each other, but Chimera quickly goes down to his knees once everyone on the ice begins to pile in. Cowan and Chimera wrestle around down on the ice, but are eventually separated by the linesmen.
