| Off the faceoff, Boogaard lands an uppercut then a big right to the top of Fedoruk's head to send his helmet flying. A big right from Boogard misses, then a right connects to the top of Fedoruk's head. Lots of grappling for position, then Fedoruk lands a couple of rights. Fedoruk gets the sweater over Boogards's head and lands a few nice lefts. They trade punches, mostly missing, but at least one of Fedoruk's connecting. They get against the glass and the linesmen come in. | ||||

| After the whistle, these two push, then have a long square off. They start slow, Walker throws a few right uppercuts that come up short. They trade nice lefts, then a few short punches by Walker that connect. Fedoruk lands a few body shots, then Walker misses with a big right which allows Fedoruk to feed Walker with a few solid lefts. They grapple and then the linesmen come in. | ||||

| The two drop the gloves and square off at the blueline, each fighter switching stances multiple times. Fedoruk misses with a left hook as May grabs on and throws a couple of quick rights. Fedoruk ties up May's right arm and tries to rip his helmet off. He finally does and lands a right as May comes back with a left to the back of Fedoruk's head. Fedoruk switches hands and throws a couple of lefts as the two start exchanging punches. They each nail each other with solid punches, knocking May off-balance and to the ice. | ||||

| Fedoruk nails Nedved with a high hit, a shot apparently avenging an earlier big shot by Gauthier on Lupul. O'Donnell is right next to the hit and drops the gloves. They grab onto each other and nothing is thrown for a while. The linesmen look to get involved a couple of times, but the two move out of the way while still holding on tight. Finally, after a good 20 seconds, punches are thrown, but nothing of consequence. Each may have landed one before Fedoruk gets off two uppercuts, one landing, as the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: O'Donnell received an instigator and misconduct; Fedoruk an attempt to injure match penalty. | ||||

| Barret Jackman chases Tyler Wright up and down the ice to try and get him to drop the gloves, shoving him and giving him slashes before Wright turtles to the ice. Jackman starts throwing gloved punches to Wright's head while he is down as Zenon Konopka comes over and grabs Jackman. Meanwhile, Fedoruk and Downey are away from the scrum squaring off. They grab on and Fedoruk throws a left to start things off. They wrestle around before Fedoruk gets his right free and throws an uppercut and a right cross with Downey returning fire with two rights as Fedoruk slips to the ice, bringing Downey with him. They get back on their feet and grapple for a bit until Fedoruk gets his left free and nails Downey as Downey is throwing a right. Downey collapses to the ice as Fedoruk holds him up, keeping his head from hitting the ice. Other Penalties: Barret Jackman received a triple roughing. | ||||

Fedoruk then throws four quick lefts as Shelley comes back with three of his own. Fedoruk throws an overhand right before they grapple in tight. Fedoruk throws two lefts, rips Shelley's helmet off, and then throws 5-6 more lefts. They then go toe-to-toe with punches for a short moment: Fedoruk with the left; Shelley with the right. Fedoruk switches hands and throws two rights as Shelley returns fire with two rights as well. Fedoruk throws two rights to the back of Shelley's head before he turns Shelley around and throws him to the ice. | ||||

| Fedoruk hits Mark Rycroft from behind and is immediately challenged by Walker. Walker starts things off by throwing a couple of short rights mixed in with a few body shots. They grapple for a short while up against the boards until Walker gets loose and throws four quick rights, a couple landing, until Fedoruk gets his right hand tied up. They wrestle around for a bit with Fedoruk getting his right hand free and connecting with a right to the back of Walker's head. Walker throws a jersey-jab with the right and misses with two lefts before connecting with three straight rights that rock Fedoruk. Fedoruk comes back with a left and the two start exchanging numerous punches: Fedoruk with lefts, Walker with rights, as Fedoruk gets the better of the exchange. Fedoruk ties up Walker's right hand and attempts a locked-out left as the two wrestle around some more. Fedoruk connects with two lefts to the side of Walker's head as Walker goes down to his knees. Fedoruk switches hands and lands a right as Walker just holds on. Fedoruk throws another right as Walker grazes Fedoruk with a big right that knocks Walker off-balance and to the ice. Fedoruk rips McGrattan's helmet off before throwing two lefts as McGrattan lands a right that knocks Fedoruk back a few inches. McGrattan misses with a right as Fedoruk throws a left to the back of McGrattan's head before they lose their balance and fall to the ice. The linesmen quickly come in to try and stop the fight only to have both fighters put their hands up to keep them away. McGrattan misses with two rights before he puts his hand in Fedoruk's face. McGrattan throws an uppercut, lands three rights and then connects with a couple of jersey-jabs and another right. Fedoruk throws three lefts as McGrattan tries to stay away from the punches. Fedoruk ties up McGrattan's right and switches hands, throwing a right of his own. They then go toe-to-toe with punches: Fedoruk with lefts; McGrattan with rights. Fedoruk lands a right as McGrattan misses with a left before the two exchange punches back and forth once again. Fedoruk lands two lefts before the linesmen intervene. | ||||

They exchange right hands and then Fedoruk switches hands and throws three quick lefts as Parros returns fire with a right. Fedoruk throws a right with Parros throwing four rights and a left as Parros struggles to get free. They exchange right hands as Parros lands a left while Fedoruk shakes off his elbow pad. Parros lands a wide right and throws two lefts before they tie up. Fedoruk moves in and grabs on awkwardly and throws a right and quickly moves to switch to the left. They exchange a couple of lefts, one knocking Fedoruk's helmet off, and Fedoruk tries to switch back to the right. Fedoruk misses with a right and Laraque takes over throwing a series of hard lefts, a few connecting cleanly, until Fedoruk is driven down to the ice. Gratton throws a good right combination that knocks off Fedoruk's helmet. At this point Gratton starts throwing wild rights, most of which are missing, while Fedoruk connects with a few well-placed shots while switching hands. The two fighters tie up and grapple before Fedoruk gets loose and winds up with a big left which he lands hard to Gratton's face. They get in close again with Gratton looking tired. Cowan then pushes Fedoruk and they grab ahold of each other, skating out into open ice. They grapple for a short while, each player trying to get loose. Cowan throws two lefts with one landing while Fedoruk continues to try and get an arm free. Fedoruk lands a short right and takes Cowan's helmet off while Cowan puts his head into Fedoruk's chest. Cowan throws an overhand left and Fedoruk responds with two rights just before Cowan goes down to his knees and Fedoruk holds up, allowing the linesmen to come in. Parros lifts Fedoruk's jersey partially over his face and throws a left jab before losing his balance and almost falling to the ice. Fedoruk captializes on Parros' near-fall and connects with two right crosses. Parros fires back with two rights of his own and shakes his elbow pad off. Fedoruk throws two more rights before bending over, allowing Parros to switch hands and connect with three lefts to the back of Fedoruk's head.
