Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 11, 2003 1pd 02:20 NYI @ BUF Andrew Peters
Comments: Nice even squareoff. They wait and Godard goes in. They grab and have each other locked out. Godard jersey-punches with the left, and then throws a right hand. They exchange rights, but Godards are more effective. He then switches to left, Peters goes down (slip), gets back up and it's a good, long bout. Both guys land, but Godard lands more until they finally tire out and hug till the linesmen come in.

Oct 20, 2003 2pd 09:53 @ NYI TOR Tie Domi
Comments: Godard lays out Tucker and Domi comes in to have words. They drop em and go. Domi slips, Godard lets him up. Domi lands some rights, and Godard lands a few weaker shots. It appeared one might have thrown Domi off-balance as he goes down again. Godard lets him up again. Some more shots by each, a decent right by Domi and Domi goes down (slip) and gets back up again. Domi swings a couple of haymakers and it looks like at least one landed well. Then they tie each other up and it's done.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 20, 2003 3pd 06:31 @ NYI TOR Bryan Marchment
Comments: Marchment lays a hit on Bergenheim and Godard decides he's ready to go again. Starts off a little slow. Godard gets in a couple, then Marchment takes over and lands a few shots to Godard's face while having Godard tied up pretty well. Godard lands one big one at the end and seemed to bloody Marchment's cheek. Other Penalties: Godard received an instigator and misconduct.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 11, 2003 1pd 02:19 NYI @ PHI Donald Brashear
Comments: Brash is challenged by Godard and they drop em with a decent squareoff. Brash gets the left going on Godard, and gets a lot of helmet/side of head. Brash throws some uppercuts that also connect and then Godard throws a few shots himself. They go down and get back up. Brash has a good lock on Godard preventing him from swinging well. They throw a couple more, mainly Brash, who's connecting well with his shots, and then get in close and the linesman come in.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 15, 2003 2pd 02:26 NYI @ NAS Wade Brookbank
Comments: Nice long squareoff. Brookbank lunges in and both players grab the jerseys with the left and start throwing rights. Brookbank throws three rights, with two looking to connect to Godard's forehead, knocking his helmet off. Godard throws a couple of rights that connect. Brookbank ducks his head to miss more rights and Godard throws a couple of uppercuts that come up short as Brookbank almost has his jersey pulled over his head. Wade straightens up and they each throw several rights with a couple landing in a nice exchange. Godard gets Brookbank off-balance and they both tumble to the ice.
Voted winner: Draw (53.8%) - Voted rating: 6.6

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 19, 2003 3pd 02:50 NYI @ FLA Lyle Odelein
Comments: With his team down and semi-lifeless Odelein tries to sir it up by going after Godard. They meet up after a whistle and drop em. Godard gets position and throws several good rights. Odelein tries to answer, but Godard is controlling fight and hit Odelein with several big rights. It looked like he let up at end.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 22, 2003 1pd 02:41 NYI @ CBJ Jody Shelley
Comments: They line up opposite each other on the faceoff, Godard taps Shelley the puck is dropped and away we go, nice even squareoff. Shelley goes in first, throwing rights, Godard then answers with rights of his own, both guys are landing right hands. Godard puts his head down to throw a nice right uppercut that lands square on Shelleys face. Both guys are just chucking them in an excellent scrap, but Godard did land a better punch or two, square to Shelley's face while Shelley was generally getting helmet. Shelley was dripping a decent amount of blood from his nose when it was done.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Dec 09, 2003 1pd 00:55 @ NYI TAM Chris Dingman
Comments: Right off the faceoff they drop the gloves. They're in-tight to start and Godard feeds Dingman about 5-6 rights. Dingman goes to throw a couple of lefts, but gets bent over and turned. He goes to straighten up and Godard throws another right, Dingman goes down. Dingman's got a little blood in the penalty box.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Dec 27, 2003 1pd 06:54 @ NYI TOR Wade Belak
Comments: Belak crushes an Islander behind the net and Godard lets him know its go time. Belak obliges immediately and throws a left which lands. This stuns Godard and he goes into defensive mode. Belak grabs on with the left and is throwing jersey punches with the left and trying to throw with the right. Belak is controlling the pace by keeping Godard off-balance. Godard starts to right himself and tries to throw a left which doesn't land. By this time both guys are played out.
Voted winner: Wade Belak (47.4%) - Voted rating: 4.5

Date Time For Against Opponent
Jan 17, 2004 1pd 06:44 @ NYI BUF Eric Boulton
Comments: Nice even squareoff, they dive in and Boulton gets in a left, Godard a right. They lock up, exchange rights, grapple and Godard gets Boulton's helmet off. In the grapple, the few punches exchanged are mostly Boulton's. Godard then possibly lands a right hand, because Boulton goes down and is cut on the forehead.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Feb 26, 2004 1pd 09:13 @ NYI NYR Chris Simon
Comments: It all starts with Asham and Barnaby. Then Cairns and Purinton come in and suddenly Cairns gets elbowed by Purinton and Purinton falls down. Cairns then throws a handful of punches at the turtling Purinton. Godard starts shoving everyone and Simon grabs him. Godard with rights, Simon with lefts, some good punches back and forth. Simon falls down and Godard falls on top. Other Penalties: Matt Barnaby and Arron Asham each received a roughing; Godard an obstruction hooking.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Feb 26, 2004 2pd 02:18 @ NYI NYR Dan LaCouture
Comments: Perhaps avenging Lacouture's running of Kvasha in the last meeting, he asks Dan to go off the draw. Long squareoff. Godard throws an early right and Lacouture counters with a couple of his own. Then Godard lands two big rights and Dan goes down to a knee. Godard lets up and allows Dan to get back up. The fight continues with Godard pelting Dan with right after right and the linesmen, seeing how the fight is one-sided decide to break it up.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Mar 06, 2004 2pd 05:14 @ NYI STL Reed Low
Comments: Godard and Low come together near the blueline and grab ahold of each other while dropping the gloves. Low throws two rights to start things off. Low switches hands and throws a short left. They get each other's helmets off and then grapple for a moment. Low opens up and throws a right cross that is followed by an uppercut. Low hits the top of Godard's head with some short rights. Godard returns fire with four rights to the side of Low's head. They spin around and Godard then connects with another right while Low is shaking off his elbow pad. Low connects with a right in tight and Godard does the same with a left. Low then throws a flurry of nine straight lefts while Godard tries to duck away from the punches. Godard throws a right to the back of Low's head and they decide to just hang on until the linesmen come in after that.
