Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 11, 2003 1pd 11:03 DAL @ NAS Robert Schnabel
Comments: When the camera gets there Schnabel's helmet is off and he is trying to get Ott's helmet off and does. They hug a little, both were trying to get their rights loose, but they had each other tied up too well. Ott finally decides to go to the left and landed a weak shot to Schnabel's jaw. Schnabel then threw three upper cuts that looked to hit Ott's torso and then Schnabel throws two over-hand rights. The first hit Ott's shoulder and the second hits Ott in the back of the head and sends him to the ice, Schnabel falls on him.

Oct 13, 2003 1pd 09:32 DAL @ BUF Jay McKee
Comments: Ott collides with McKee at the boards and gives him a face wash. McKee didn't like that, some shoving, and the gloves come off. McKee throws a bunch of rights at a ducking Ott, most of them landing to the helmet and side of the head. Ott tried to throw a few, but nothing came of it, and they go down.
Voted winner: Jay McKee (72.2%) - Voted rating: 5.4

Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 25, 2003 1pd 06:40 DAL @ CBJ David Ling
Comments: Commercial after the Shelley-Erskine fight. They come back and show a replay of Spacek laying on the ice (very exciting). They slowly cut to the fight and Ott is covered up with Ling on top, and the linesmen already in between them. Didn't seem like much happened, and it happened fast.

Oct 29, 2003 1pd 00:53 @ DAL CAL Shean Donovan
Comments: They meet up at the benches. Ott hits Saprykin from behind and Donovan takes exception. Nothing much happened here, a couple of nothing punches by both guys before they tumble to the ice.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 04, 2003 2pd 00:07 DAL @ NYR Matt Barnaby
Comments: They have some words before the puck is dropped to start the second period and have to be seperated by the ref. After the puck is dropped they follow each other off the faceoff and Ott drops the gloves. Barnaby waits to drop em, does after two seconds, and away we go. They both exchange a couple of soft punches and then Ott pounds Barnaby with two rights and as a result, Barnaby finds himself pinned to the boards. Then, Ott pulls the front of Barnaby's jersey over his head and Barnaby has the jersey over his head for the majority of the fight. Barnaby manages to get out of the pin and they continue to grapple for five seconds or so before Barnaby gets a left free and gets in a couple of shots. He then pushes the jersey over his head and Ott shakes off an elbow pad and Ott throws two good lefts and Barnaby two good rights and they go down with Barnaby on top.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 12, 2003 3pd 14:39 @ DAL DET Darryl Bootland
Comments: Right out of the penalty box these two drop the gloves. They have a short squareoff, Bootland quickly skates towards Ott. Ott throws one and misses while Bootland throws two, with one landing slightly. Ott buries his head into Bootland's chest and Bootland throws about four to five shots, with three landing on Ott's head. Then Bootland starts ragdolling Ott, and Ott falls on his knees, but gets right back up. Ott throws two that miss Bootland, then they are still together and Ott tries throwing one or two more as Bootland throws thirteen lefts with several landing on Ott's helmetless head. They jostle a little more and Bootland shoves Ott to the ice.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Dec 04, 2003 1pd 14:51 DAL @ LOS Sean Avery
Comments: As John Erskine was roughing up Avery it seemed like Ott and Avery were having words. They seemed determined to go as Avery skated away from Erskine and Ott threw off his gloves and Avery followed. They had a long squareoff that went end to end. When they finally got a hold of each other, they both threw some with Avery throwing more and landing more. Ott threw about three punches with all of them coming up short to Avery's five, with a couple of them landing. Then Ott buries his helmet-less head in Avery's chest area and Avery throws about eight punches, some uppercuts and most of them landing. Other Penalties: John Erskine received a cross checking.
Voted winner: Sean Avery (94.4%) - Voted rating: 7.0

Dec 07, 2003 3pd 08:12 DAL @ ANA Vitaly Vishnevski
Comments: Cameras got there late. When they did, Vish just had Ott in a straight jacket hold and wouldn't let go. He then takes him to the ice.

Jan 02, 2004 1pd 09:10 @ DAL PHO Brad Ference
Comments: Nice squareoff at center ice. Both players remove helmets. Ference swings with the right, misses and slips and Ott barely missed a strong cross. Lots of grappling, but nothing landing. Ott gets the takedown.

Jan 03, 2004 1pd 03:32 DAL @ LOS Brad Norton

Feb 11, 2004 1pd 15:02 @ DAL NYI Eric Cairns
Comments: Stars score while Ott and Cairns are battling. Goal goes in and Cairns takes a gloved-punch from Ott. Cairns drops his gloves, one of Ott's goes flying; and then Arnott jumps in (and along comes everyone else). It's a pile and that's the end of it. Other Penalties: Jason Arnott received a game misconduct.
Voted winner: Draw (64.3%) - Voted rating: 1.9

Date Time For Against Opponent
Feb 20, 2004 3pd 15:07 @ DAL COL Chris McAllister
Comments: McAllister tried to go with Downey, who turned him down for Worrell. McAllister then throws a sucker punch at Ott, who swings his stick at McAllister while he's on the ice. Other Penalties: Ott received a slashing; McAllister an instigator, roughing, misconduct and game misconduct. Steve Ott did not receive a fighting major.

Mar 05, 2004 3pd 16:55 @ DAL CAL Jarome Iginla
Comments: They square off, dismantle the equipment and hug. Iginla tries to get some shots in, but Ott isn't letting go. Iginla switches hands and looks to get a shot or two in-close and they tumble down.
Voted winner: Jarome Iginla (95.7%) - Voted rating: 4.4

Date Time For Against Opponent
Mar 07, 2004 2pd 13:04 @ DAL SAN Jim Fahey
Comments: Fahey gives Ott a shove. Ott turns and gives Fahey one back, and then drops the gloves and grabs on. Fahey drops his as Ott's grabbing on and they each swing, Ott's connecting better. Ott then throws a series of rights, all connecting. Fahey comes back with a big swing that Ott ducks under, then Ott unloads another series of rights, most hitting their target. Fahey was off-balance from his wild swing and Ott's punches help him go down. Other Penalties: Ott received a high sticking.
Voted winner: Steve Ott (100.0%) - Voted rating: 6.1

Date Time For Against Opponent
Mar 07, 2004 3pd 20:00 @ DAL SAN Jim Fahey
Comments: Fahey is ready this time and drops them simulteously as Ott issues a challenge. They both get exactly one good solid punch in on each other and Rathje decides he doesn't want to see round two so much and jumps Ott. Turco skates to center ice and this appears ready to be another brawl, but Marty stops and nothing more really happens. Other Penalties: Mike Rathje received a game misconduct.
