Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 18, 2003 2pd 06:00 BOS @ LOS Ian Laperriere
Comments: Off the start Lappy already has his elbow pad off. They squareoff with Lappy telling Boynton to come on. He does with a good left. Boynton controls the begining of the fight as Laperriere is trying to get Boynton's lid off. He does and they start trading, Boyton must have landed a good one as it popped of Lappy's hat. Laperriere turns the tables and lands a few of his own. He gets Boyton off-balance.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 19, 2003 3pd 15:08 BOS @ ANA Ruslan Salei
Comments: Salei checks Thornton from behind into the boards and Joe goes down, and stays down for a minute. Boynton immediately comes in with the gloves off and starts firing rights. Everybody started to pile in, but that doesn't stop Nick as he is laying into Salei with the right hands. It's eventually stopped with Todd Simpson with a cut on the bridge of his nose. Todd was technically third man, but got no penalty and got cut for his efforts, but not from a punch. Other Penalties: Salei received a boarding; Boynton an instigator and misconduct.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Jan 20, 2004 1pd 05:02 BOS @ NYR Matt Barnaby
Comments: These two get going around the Bruins net. Lots of holding to start it off, finally Barnaby gets his right free and throws a few body shots and mixes in some punches to the head. Boynton gets his right free and lands a few, and they both start exchanging some short punches. Barnaby was doing his trademark head-shaking every time he got hit. Barnaby removes Boynton's helmet and lands another punch or two. This long fight finally ends as both fighters get wrapped up and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Mike Knuble and Chris Simon each received a roughing.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Feb 01, 2004 2pd 05:03 @ BOS PIT Kelly Buchberger
Comments: They square off evenly and Boynton starts out with four big rights which all miss. Buchberger loses his helmet during the flurry and then gets off a right that looked to come up short. Boynton throws another right that misses, followed by an uppercut that lands, but is countered with a Buchberger right which lands. Boynton ends it with a nice right putting an off-balance Buchberger to the ice. Buchberger was hurt in the box cluching his throat.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Mar 02, 2004 2pd 13:20 BOS @ TOR Drake Berehowsky
Comments: McCabe hits Thornton from behind along the side boards and Thornton goes down, delayed penalty coming and Boynton skates in from the point and bumps Belfour. Berehowsky comes at Boynton and they get the hands up high and off comes the gloves. Boynton starts landing some nice rights then McCabe jumps on his back while Berehowsky starts throwing lefts, one landing flush. Thornton then gets in there and pulls off McCabe. Boynton, now free from McCabe's grasp, proceeds to land about four more uppercuts. Boynton had to get stitches from a cut under his eye. Other Penalties: Boynton received a roughing.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Mar 13, 2004 1pd 01:07 @ BOS BUF Dmitri Kalinin
Comments: Boynton throws a huge check on Kalinin against the boards putting him to the ice. Kalinin gets up and goes for Boynton, they drop the gloves and start chuckin, Kalinin with the overhand right and Boynton with the right uppercut. They both land a couple then tie each other up pretty well. Boynton has Kalinin in a tough spot and lands about four good uppercuts. Kalinin will not be deterred and starts firing the right with his head down, landing some good ones as Boynton is still throwing the uppercuts, also landing. Boynton switches to the left and lands a nice uppercut then switches back to the right landing another uppercut. Kalinin was bleeding from the bridge of the nose and went to the room for repairs. Other Penalties: Chris Drury received a high sticking.
Voted winner: Nick Boynton (95.0%) - Voted rating: 6.8
