| They drop the gloves at center ice and tie up. Both guys get loose and Strudwick just misses with a right. Marshall comes back with a left of his own and both fighters exchange punches. They tie up again and wrestle to get loose. Strudwick throws a right as Marshall counters with a left. Strudwick throws a big right which Marshall ducks under. They tie up again and Strudwick lands a couple punches to the back of Marshall's head as he holds on. Marshall lands two lefts to the side of Strudwick's head and then loses his balance, allowing Strudwick to land a few rabbit punches before the linesmen come in to break things up. | ||||

| They start talking while skating back from the New Jersey net and drop the gloves at the blueline. Marshall throws a quick right before they grab on. Marshall throws a right as Payer comes back with a couple of rights of his own. Payer then misses with a right allowing Marshall to switch hands and throw a flurry of lefts before they start exchanging punches: Marshall with lefts, Payer with rights. Marshall was able to get Payer's head down and started throwing numerous uppercuts. Payer returned fire with a left before the two wrestle each other to the ice and let the linesmen come in. | ||||

| They start pushing and shoving in front of the Capitals' net and drop the gloves. Witt throws 4-5 rights to start things off as Marshall returns fire with two rights of his own. Witt throws another right as Marshall goes down to a knee for a moment. He gets back up and throws a few lefts while Witt is still throwing rights. Witt switches hands and throws two lefts before they get in tight and wrestle around, causing the linesmen to step in and end the fight. | ||||

| They drop the gloves directly after the faceoff and square off near the blueline. They grab on as Marshall throws lefts as Peters throws two rights. Marshall then connects with a big left that sends Peters' helmet flying. Marshall misses with another left and is able to duck under a Peters right before Peters loses his balance and falls to the ice. Marshall lands a body shot while they are going down. | ||||

| Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves with Marshall throwing a quick right. They both struggle to get loose until Mayers throws two lefts that miss as Marshall comes back with a left that hits the back of Mayers' helmet. Mayers switches hands and throws a short left as Marshall comes over the top with a right that misses before wrestling Mayers down to his knees. Mayers returns to his feet and throws a right as Marshall responds with three lefts. Mayers gets turned around and loses his balance before Marshall pushes him to the ice. | ||||

| Marshall hits Eric Desjardins hard along the boards, causing Gauthier to skate over and bump Marshall. They shove each other and immediately drop the gloves and tie up. They wrestle around for a short while and Marshall takes Gauthier's helmet off. Marshall throws a right to the back of Gauthier's head and Gauthier responds with a short left. Marshall then gets his left arm free and unloads a flurry of seven lefts and uppercuts, putting Gauthier down to his knees. Marshall gets in a few more lefts while Gauthier is down and the linesmen finally step in. Other Penalties: Marshall received a boarding. | ||||
