Comments: Long squareoff. Primeau at first seems a little hesitant, but gets the better of Simon with some heavy right hands. Simon was cut, but everybody is saying he had stitches going in (hit by a puck). He bled all over Primeau.

Comments: About 8 minutes into the first period these two come together with Simon being the aggressor - continually crosschecking Sawyer until Sawyer drops his gloves and they get into a clinch. Simon opens up and connects with at least 2 big lefts which appear to connect on Sawyer. Simon then misses with a left and has his hand on Sawyer's left shoulder as Sawyer throws one right, which didn't look to connect on the helmet, and then another left which misses as Simon loses his balance and the two tumble to the ice.

Comments: Right out of the box, after receiving matching unsportsmanlike minors, they go near the Chicago blueline with a nice squareoff. Simon gets a hold of Downey and throws 2 slow lefts and misses while Downey grabs a hold of Simon's sleeve, misses a punch and then elbow's him while bringing his arm back. Simon goes down and Downey falls on top of him.

Comments: Brown gives Simon a bump in the Wild defensive zone and Simon gives him a little tug with his stick. Play goes on into Chicago's zone, play stops and the fight starts. Camera was not following them, but came into the fight with Brad throwing a big right that finds helmet. Simon goes with lefts. Lots of punches thrown by both, none of which appeared to do damage. Simon gets Brad's helmet off and may have gotten him with one left. They wrestle for a bit then the refs came in. They both looked to nod towards each other after splitting up.

Comments: Allison starts off with a few, but doesn't connect. Simon returns, but misses as well. This goes on for a few rounds with each missing or landed minor punches until Simon get a few lefts in knocking Allison off balance and to the ice.

Comments: Starts at center ice. Simon starts with two lefts that both miss, but then throws a huge left that hits, and Boughner is cut. Boughner then holds on as Simon tries to throw more and connects with one as Boughner has his head down. The Boogieman lands a left, as he throws while bent over. He then starts to fall and Simon lands three lefts as Boughner is going down. Other Penalties: Simon received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Chicago just scored a goal and these two guys squareoff at center ice right off the faceoff. They skate down into the Chicago zone and come together after about 20 seconds of circling. They grab on and start swinging. Parker lands a left and then hit Simon's helmet. Simon then rips Parker's helmet off and gets his left hand free and hit Parker with a pretty good punch. They then spin and swing, a few punches landed by each, but mostly they hit air. Simon has some trouble getting a hold of Parker, because of this he opens up. Parker takes advantage of this and start unleashing his left, landing a few nice shots to Simon's face, one punch that hits Simon's helmet and seems to break a piece of plastic on it that flies away. Simon then loses his balance and they go down, Simon seemed to have a red mark on the side of his eye. Pretty exciting scrap.

Comments: This happened in front of the Pens' net. Simon was throwing lefts, two or three connected solid, then both guys spun around and fell down. Focht ended up on top and landed two rights as both guys were down on the ice.
