Redden lost his stick and was trying to play the puck with his feet when Grosek just drilled him into the boards. The camera panned away from the action momentarily and when it came back to the two players, the gloves were off. The fight didn't last long as Grosek landed the only punch that was a glancing blow causing Redden to lose his balance. Grosek threw a few more on the way down scoring the takedown.

Grosek meets Biron in the corner, and Biron hits him with his trapper. Warrener comes over and the gloves fly off. Grosek throws around three quick, short rights that land weakly. Warrener gets his right free and throws a few, hitting mostly helmet. Grosek is sort of hunched over, loses his balance, then falls. Not much of a fight. Warrener is favoring his right hand afterwards.

Grosek nails Kovalev from behind in the boards, Ference comes right over to stick up for the Pens' star and drops them with Grosek. Bad camera angle. Ference throws a few shots glove-on and then a few lefts that looked like they may have landed. Grosek throws a missing shot and then they went down. Other Penalties: Ference received an instigator and misconduct.
