| Comments: Thornton was getting rough towards the end of the game. He got a penalty for taking out Varada after he hit Sullivan a little earlier. Thornton comes out of the box on a breakaway, misses, then gets hammered in the corner by Varada. Thornton follows him up the ice only to run into Boulton. They drop the mitts right away, throw wild rights (quick fight), each land, and Boulton cracks Shawn with a big right hand, dropping him in his tracks. | ||||

| Comments: It starts right after the faceoff and they are both wrestling and trying to get themselves free from one another. Thornton throws maybe two or three rights and one lands in the face of Jakopin that sends him down on the ice with the help of a push. | ||||

| Comments: The drop them off a faceoff. Both go toe to toe for about 5 seconds with Shelley landing 3 or 4 really well and Thornton grazing 2 or 3. They tie up a little and Shelley throws 2 more that connect. Thornton gets in close, then Shelley hits him to his knees and the linesmen come in. Right when they do, Thornton pulls Shelley down by his leg. | ||||

| Comments: McKenzie checks Thornton against the boards. Thornton hooks him, and they both drop the gloves. All grappling, but Thornton was really trying to get an arm free. McKenzie had the death grip on and was content without throwing a punch. Don't believe there was a punch thrown. | ||||

| Comments: Thornton gets started first and fires a few punches, some of which land. Laraque then loses his balance, but comes back and overpowers Thornton with his counter punches, and knocks Thornton to his knees. Laraque throws a couple more as the linesmen come in. | ||||
