Comments: Hatcher pretty much ragdolls Mellanby around using the size advantage. Both have their rights free and both are thowing pretty wild. Looks like Hatcher landed two and Mellanby one. Hatcher throws Mellanby to the ice.

Comments: Good sqaureoff along the boards. They come together, both looking to throw the rights. Staios connects with a couple, then Mellanby does a good job tying him up and gets off about 5 or 6 right hands. They tie each other up again. Mellanby throws a few more rights, and Staios counters with two rights of his own, and Mellanby goes to the ice. Good show by Mellanby.

Comments: Bad camera work as it gets there with Moreau on the ice and Mellanby throwing rights.

Comments: Mellanby goes after Draper was punching him while he was on the ice. Maltby came charging in and fell then Mellanby gave him a couple shots while he was laying on the ice. This started the Draper-Drake and Bykov-Jackman scraps. Other Penalties: Mellanby received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Kirk Maltby and Ryan Johnson each a roughing. Kris Draper did not receive a fighting major.
