Comments: Fridge hits Lindros and Dale jumps right in. Away they go and no hugging here between friends. Purinton with the early edge, lands a couple of nice rights. Fridge comes back and lands a few of his own. Fridge gets the advantage and Dale looks like he's tiring when back he comes with a few lefts. Fridge weathers it and lands some clean rights. Todd finishes the fight in control. Other Penalties: Purinton received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: They bump along the boards in the Ranger's end and the gloves come off. Nice fair squareoff and they come together. Toe to toe action, both throwing the lefts repeatedly. Myrhes helmet comes off immediately and the snap on his tie down breaks, so the jersey comes up. Good action here with both landing a few. Dale lands on top for the takedown. Other Penalties: Myrhes received a game misconduct.

Comments: Radio description: Purinton jumps Brashear from behind and rains down punches while Brash turtles. This causes a line brawl of sorts with the main attraction being Therien and Barnaby. From the sound of it, a very long fight with both landing a couple. Other Penalties: Purinton received an instigator and misconduct; Dave Karpa and Eric Desjardins misconducts; Therien and Barnaby game misconducts. Donald Brashear did not receive a fighting major.
