Both guys throw a few jabs each back and forth with a bunch of non-landing punches. They are both pretty exhausted. Guerin is able to get Isbister's jersey over his head at the end, but didn't throw anything. Other Penalties: Isbister and Sean O'Donnell both received cross checking minors; Eric Cairns received a roughing.

Michael Peca takes a rough check, scrum ensues. McCarthy and Isbister start up. It's all McCarthy here. He goes on for quite a bit while shaking Isbister about. While the linesmen are breaking it up, it appears Isbister won't let go. McCarthy then throws a big punch over the linesmen sending Isbister to a knee. As McCarthy is being escorted off the ice, Eric Cairns is being restrained on the Isles bench while screaming (reciting Sonnets I'm sure). Other Penalties: Tomas Kloucek received a roughing and charging; Mariusz Czerkawski an unsportsmanlike conduct; McCarthy a game misconduct.
